The weight of guilt was heavy as I looked at him and his pleading eyes. It was very apparent that he meant exactly what he had said and I was in complete shock. It isn't like him to apologize so.....genuinely. It was clear our a little fight did have a bad impact on him and I felt bad. I know that I'm his only friend that he can be himself around and practically like a sister to him so I was feeling super guilty for allowing my emotions to break our friendship up.
"Of course I forgive you."
He began to smile slowly at my sudden words
"Really? Just like that?"
"Look Jackson, you really hurt my feelings when you allowed that girl to disrespect me like that—"
"I know and it will never happen again"
" and I believe you so I think it's best if we act as if that never happened. Let's agree to never allow anything or anyone to come between us. Okay?"
"Absolutely, I one hundred percent agree. Should we hug it out?"
"Ew no, don't touch me"
"Oh come on. It's not officially forgiven unless we hug it out. That's what appa always says"
"Yeah your dad says a lot of things I don't agree with" I said as he stood up extending his arms before him
"But is he ever really wrong?"
"You've got a point" I quickly wrapped my arms around his torso and took my seat once again "there's your hug...weirdo"
"Was that so hard?"
"Yes actually, it took a lot out of me. Anyway I've been meaning to ask you, that pet of yours, Veronica, what's up with her?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean why is she so comfortable with popping up at your place unexpectedly. Is there something you wanna tell me?"
His eyes furrowed in confusion at my sudden confrontation. I couldn't help but wonder what his relationship was with this chick. I mean he NEVER allows his little....... friends to come to his place. He normally meets them at his condo downtown is what he's told me so I couldn't help but become curious when she showed up.
"Oh I guess you're wondering why she showed up here"
"Yeah I mean it's just not you're usual. Are you guys like....dat—"
"Absolutely not. I would never get emotionally involved with her at any point in my life. Ew! I'm gonna be sick" he said before making vomiting gestures like the big child that he is
"Then why she pop up?" I asked chuckling
"I have no idea. I honestly don't even know how she knows where I stay. I guess she followed me or something. She's pretty crazy if you haven't noticed."
"Then why do you mess around with her if she's so crazy?"
"Because she goes crazy in bed" he shrugged just saying that casually
"Great now I'm gonna be sick. Yuck"
"Hey I'm just being honest here. I like them a little crazy "
"That bitch is straight outta the mental asylum. "
He laughed "Hey she can't help it! "
I waved him off rolling my eyes
"So are you still talking to that Bieber dude?"
For some reason my heart dropped at the mention of his name. Almost immediately I began to get nervous.
"Yeah we're good friends. I know you don't like him Jack"
"It's not that I don't like him......actually that's exactly what it's like. I don't know I just think it's weird how fast you guys became close and I also don't like how he has you exposed to the media like that. "
"There's nothing you need to be worried about. I genuinely think He's a good person. You know he's not at all how the media portrays him to be "
"Girl do you have feelings for him" he gasped as if he was a high school girl gossiping.
"No! .....maybe? Hell I don't know ."
"Oh shit"
"That's exactly what I said."

"I don't know it just felt like it was time. I've been doing a lot of thinking and I think it's time I start chasing my dreams. I need to get get serious about the things I want in life"

"Thank you" I replied with a huge smile plaster on my face "well I'll see you around?"
"Yeah text me when you get home, drive safe"

"No you drive more reckless than anyone I've ever met so please be safe"
"Haha I will!" I said leaving out the front door. I got in the car and and began my drive home with my thoughts flowing all over the place.
I was so relieved that we had that conversation and things seemed to be back to normal. Although he says that Veronica girl is just a friend, I get the feeling she doesn't know that. But nevertheless I will mind my own business and simply let them....do them.
After about thirty minutes of road rage and continuous red lights, I finally made it back home.
I sighed as the elevator door opened allowing me to walk on my floor. I gasped at the sudden gift that sat before my doorstep. A huge bouquet of roses that had a variety of colors sat there and they were absolutely breathtaking.
I looked around before crouching down to get and unlocking my front door.
""Oh gosh this is heavy" I muttered to myself as I struggled to bring them inside and shut the door behind me. I looked closely seeing there was a note. With hopes of it telling me who it was from, I quickly say the bouquet on the kitchen table and snatched the note.

I smiled knowing they were from Justin being that he sometimes likes to refer to himself as my secret admirer.
I took a quick picture and sent it to him.

I took this time to quickly unwind so that I could start on this 10 page essay that was due......tomorrow by twelve. Like always I decided to start on it last minute and I made sure not to tell Jade or she would absolutely lose her marbles. Don't get me wrong I am so grateful to have a best friend that is so encouraging and tough but sometimes taking an L doesn't sound so bad.
I mean really, does just one tiny little F sound that bad? Yeah I'm tripping I should get started immediately.
After taking a shower I sat on my bed with a instrumental playlist having its way in the background with my laptop propped open.

I rolled my eyes chuckling making sure to turn my phone on do not disturb. I don't need anymore distractions or else I will be crying tomorrow.
At around midnight, I finally finished all ten pages of this literature paper. I would've gotten finished maybe an hour ago but I kept getting distracted by every little thing. I yawned shutting my laptop and doing a much needed stretch. I shut off my lamp before laying down relieved that I finished all of my school work.
But just as I shut my eyes.....

I groaned seeing Justin's name pop up on my phone's screen. I was just about to enter the wonderful land of dream land until this stupid phone rang which it shouldn't have because I could've sworn I placed it on do not disturb.
"Hello?" I cringed at my raspy voice.
"Oh hello, excuse me sir I'm looking for a Bella?"
"Ha ha ha kiss my ass Bieber"
"Fly down here and I will" I rolled my eyes at the fact that I could just picture him smirking now
"Yuck don't make me throw up"
"Hahaha did you finish your paper?"
"Yes actually I did"
"Ayeeeee!!" He yelled in my ear causing me to jerk my head away for a moment
"Justin! You're too loud!"
"Oh right my bad. I'm just so proud of you for finishing your paper and not procrastinating like you usually do"
I laughed at his slick compliment.
"So what'd you do today? Cause you sure as hell haven't been talking to me" he said with much sass
"I'm sorry! I had a few things to do today. Nothing much "
"A few things like what? Come on I need details, I wanna hear about every single thing you did today"
"Aren't you busy? Don't pop stars like stay in the studio till three am recording all day or something?"
"Yeah but I'm more interested in what you have to say"
In that moment I zoned out replaying his words in my head. I don't think this boy realizes the affect he has on me. The most simple kind gestures could cause my heart to skip a beat being that I'm not used to it.
"H-Hello? Did you fall asleep?"
I cleared my throat before responding "I'm up. Uh yeah oh I went to class. I only had one today and then I went to the cafe and then I had to run an errand for Mr.K so I stopped by Jack's house and then—"
"Jack?"
Oh right he hasn't even heard of him quite yet
"Oh you've never met him but he's my best friend."
"You're best friend?" He questioned
"Are you an owl?"
He chuckled "shut up, so this best friend of yours, how long have you guys known each other?"
