"Shravan" she cried in her arm. Shravan immediately tightened his hug around her. "Sumo." He said all lovingly, he was also broken seeing her state. His eyes wailed up with tears. "Shravan..he...aahhhaaa" she cried badly. Shravan immediately put his overcoat around her and then looked towards Arjun "Bro I can explain" he said. But he was in no mood to hear him. He asides Suman to a corner of the room and then his eyes burned in rage. His eyes were enough to burn him down into ashes. "You ba**trd" he said and landed a hard punch on his face.
"Bro...what are you doing..she is telling lie" Arjun said and then again a hard punch landed on him. "How dare you touch her?" He roared making Suman flinch too. She also had never seen Shravan this angry anytime. "How dare you" and then there were blows and punches on Arjun. Arjun also in defence punched Shravan hard many times but he was in no state to feel the pain. He only could see Suman's state at that point of time.
He picked Arjun up by his collar and he was three inches in air now, he strangled himself no threw him on the bed so hard that bed came crumbling down. He then again pulled him from there and pushed him to the wall. He was now enough injured not able to stand by own self. But Shravan was not stopping he again pulled him up and made him face to face "how dare you touch my Sumo..How dare you hurt her? She is MY LIFE God Damnit" he gritted his teeth. Those words didn't go unheard by Suman then. He now strangled him by his neck, Suman realised she needed to stop him or else it will be last thing for her that Shravan lands into jail because of her. She immediately rushed to him and tried to pull away his hand but he was no ears "Shravan Stop it" she shouted once for all. And he came at halt. "Leave him he will die, he will get his punishment but I don't want yo7 to land up in something because of him" she cried saying that.
And Shravan immediately threw him on the floor. Shravan turned to her and immediately his rage filled eyes turned into love and affectionate one, he cupped her face very tenderly as if she would break. "Sumo...I am sorry" he said his eyes tearing up. Suman immediately hugged him tight. "Shravan please take me away from here. I don't want to stay. Please..please..please" she mumbled in his chest.. "shush Sumo" he said and immediately lifted her in the bridal styled. She hid herself in the crook of his neck and he carried her upstairs to his room.
He slowly made her lay on the bed, she didn't let him go. She had a tight hold on his collar as if her life depended on it. Shravan's heart broke into pieces seeing her condition. "Sumo just stay let me bring the water." He freed his collar from her grip and then poured a glass of water for her, he put it near her mouth. Suman started taking sips but as she was crying she choked on the water, Shravan sat beside her and started rubbing her back. "Sumo..it's okay..Sumo see I am here" he hugged her , she cried like hell. Shravan felt helpless. "Sumo please please calm down. Please I beg you" he had also tears rolling down his cheeks. "Shr...Shravan...he...he tried...he tried to rape me" and this broke Shravan more...hearing this from her was really hurting him bad. "Sumo..please you are safe now I promise. He will never ever come near you anymore. And I promise to give his punishment." He said rubbing her back tenderly. Suman's cry slowly subsided and hiccups trailed. "Let me call everyone." He said and pulled out his phone. "No..No Shravan please don't it's..Simmi's big day. I don't want to spoil it." She said again tears filling her eyes. Shravan cupped her face. "Sumo nothing is more important than this, in fact Simmi will hate the fact" Shravan said.
"Please Shravan understand it. If Suyyash's family comes to know then scene will be created." She said. Shravan was amuse to see her who still thought for others happiness. This is what he had always loved about her. "Okay let me call Pushkar and ask to bring Ma, Aunty and Uncle back" "okay?" He said and she nodded. Shravan called Pushkar and ask him to do so without telling the reason. Pushkar knew something was wrong so he immediately reached Malhotra Mansion with other three. They all rushed inside Shravan's room. Everyone was shocked to see Suman's condition. She was all cocooned into Shravan shaking. "Suman" Priya runs to her. "My baccha what happened." She touched her face. "Ma.." she again started crying and hugged her mother, but her other hand never left Shravan's kurta. She held it tight in her grip. "Suman" Neeraj also came close to her and hugged her. "What happened to my daughter Shravan?" Neeraj asked. "Uncle..actually..." and he narrated the whole incidence,
Nirmala and Priya gasped. Neeraj's blood boiled. Pushkar was also fierce hearing the incidence "where is her?" Neeraj asked angrily. "He is I guess lying in Sumo's room" Shravan said. "I will kill him today" he was about to go when Pushkar stopped him " No uncle don't do that mistake we will handle this case legally. Let me take care of this filthy ba**rd" Pushkar said. "Right now Sumo needs you" he said. Nirmala comes forward and hugs Suman "Don't worry beta he will get what he deserves. Please keep yourself up don't break like this beta" she said caressing her head. "Shravan" Neeraj came near to him. He joined his hands infront of him "Thank you beta for saving my daughter" Shravan immediately takes hold of his hand.
"Uncle please don't say that. She means to me also uncle. And all this happened in our house, I am already ashamed of it." He said feeling guilty. "No Beta, it's not at all your fault." Neeraj replied. "I am sorry Priya our daughter had to face all of this because of one of our relative" Priya too joined her hand infront of Nirmala. "Nirmala please don't say like that it's no one's fault" Priya said wiping her tears.
"Mumma..you and Pushkar go to the banquet and take care of the things there. I am here with them don't worry" Shravan said looking at Suman who was asleep in her mother's lap but still not letting go off the corner of his kurta. "Shravan can you book us a hotel nearby, we want to stay there for the rest of the time here." Neeraj said. "But uncle this is also your home" Shravan said with a tinge of sadness. "I know beta, but Suman is tormented...she will not say but she will also not be able to stay here. Please understand it for Suman" Neeraj said patting his face.
Shravan nodded in a yes. Nirmala and Pushkar left after the police was called for Arjun. Shravan slowly brought Suman downstairs holding her by her shoulder and one of her hand was hold by Nirmala. As they came down Arjun was being handcuffed and taken by police infront of them. The inspector came to Shravan "Mr. Malhotra whenever you feel like Ms. Tiwari is ready please bring her to the police station to record her statement" Shravan nodded and thanked him for his timely duty.
Neeraj brought the suitcase and then they boarded the car and reached the hotel nearby. Shravan made her lay down on her bed, he was about to leave when she sat up. "Shravan" she immediately got hold of his hand. "Please stay" she said tears threatening to spill from her eyes. "Sumo...you need not to say please. I will stay here only with you" he said before looking at her parents who happily nodded a yes to him. They very well knew what Suman was going through and right now she could only trust Shravan as he was the only one who saved her from this. For their daughter happiness they obliged and they trust Shravan by their heart. "Suman come change your clothes. Shravan you can also change in something comfortable" Priya said to him. "Yeah I will go and change in the next room." He said giving a tight lipped smile and left.
Shravan went to the other room changed into comfortable T shirt and also ordered food for them. After sometime Shravan enters Suman's room. She laid there on her mother's lap, staring into nothingness tears trailing her cheeks. "Aunty you take some rest I am here with her." He said to Priya. Priya slowly lifts her head from her lap and place it on the pillow. She slowly lifts her gaze and finds Shravan there. "You left me" she said her lips quivered. "Hey" Shravan immediately knelt down infront of him and caressed her face. "No Sumo, I will never leave you. I promise. I am always there for you Sumo" a lone tear falls from his eyes.
Shaky hands of Suman raises and wipes his tears away. "Please" and she nodded a no. "Yeah and you too" he also wiped her tears. "Come on Sumo please don't be like this look at Uncle Aunty they are so devastated seeing you like this. Please get better. I know it was something unforgettable but until you let go it will also be getting hold on you." Sumac slowly straightened herself up and leaned upon the headrest. "I am trying Shravan..but" Suman turned her back to him and slowly asides her hair exposing her left shoulder to him. Shravan hisses seeing nail marks there. "These don't let me" she said. "May I?" He asked before touching her. She just nodded. Shravan runs his forefinger on those marks "I promise to make him suffer like hell" he gritted his teeth imagining the time she got these marks.
He turned her and made her face him. "Sumo..will you dance with me?" He said all lovingly with a smile forwarding his hand to her. "Please" he said.
Suman smiled and stared at him lovingly. "Okay.. you always get me with you puppy face you know" she said. Shravan chuckled hearing her. "If that works. I am gonna use it more often" he said and took her hand in his pulling her off from her bed. He takes out his phone and plays the song.

Shravan took her hand in his putting it one his shoulder and the other he interlaces with his hand. His free hand goes around her back. He gives a light pull to her and she crashes to his front.

Shravan and Suman do not break their eye contact.. But they swayed on the tone of the song letting each word melt down through their soul. They were gazing in each other's eyes trying to seek the solace their 'home' in each other. They slowly let their guard down making each other sneak inside them. Let them feel what they feel for each other.
