The discord call fell quiet. George, Dream, and Sapnap had just finished streaming. Their goodbyes and thank you's disappeared from the call. It was only filled with empty silence, but it was a nice silence. It gave George time to think, to collect his thoughts. He has been streaming for 4 hours at that point, making it difficult to think.
The calls silence was soon interrupted. "Well, I'm gonna head to bed. This has been exhausting." Sapnap said. Dream had went on mute. Why was he muted? George thought to himself. "Alright. Goodnight, Sap." Dream had said before muting his microphone again. This is odd, he never muted ever.
George spoke up. "Goodnight Sapnap." Sapnap returned the goodnights, and both Dream and George could hear the tiny ping of Sapnap leaving the call. It was just them, alone. They were never really alone, they always were around other friends. Dream unmuted and cleared his throat. "George?" He said, George could hear the tiredness creep up into his voice.
"I erm, talked to Sap earlier," he paused to yawn, "and I was wondering if you wanted to fly down here?" Dream asked. George was shocked, he had never expected this. Definitely not, especially after learning that he fell for Dream. And boy, did he fall hard. "Sure." George agreed, his voice almost completely silent.
"Awesome! Sapnap already has his plane ticket since we talked about it earlier." George could feel himself smile at his computer screen. "Yeah, I'll make sure to buy mine tomorrow." George said, starting to pull up the website for tickets.
"Alrighty then, well," Dream said, "I'm gonna head off. See you later, Georgie." He said, as he disappeared from the call. George hated people calling him that, but when Dream did it, it felt different. It felt like he was home. He shook the thought out of his head. Stop, this isn't fair. He thought to himself. He needed to learn that the feelings would never be shared, and he needed to learn fast.
George soon bought the ticket, and took a screenshot. After blurring out some of the credit information, he sent the edited screenshot to Dream.

And with that, George was happy. He would be seeing his bestfriend, and his crush. He plugged in his phone for the night. The phone showed the time 4:30 AM on it. He was happy, very happy. He curled up into his blankets and eventually fell asleep peacefully.
