You and Katsuki began to travel into the forest. You looked around at all of the beautiful trees and admiring all of the wildlife living in the forest. There was just a moment of silence between you and Katsuki before he had the courage to speak up.
"Hey, um, Y/N?" he said, almost nervously, "Yeah?" you said. "What's it like where you live?". You were honestly surprised that he even asked a question like that. "Well, what about it specifically?" you asked, "Like what do you do on a daily basis, food, culture, you know, that kind of stuff." he said. "Well, I mean, Y/C is a place that focuses a whole lot on gender roles, so there are a lot of things I would do on a daily basis but I don't." you said, almost out of breath.
"Like what?" he asked curiously. "Normally I'd do boring shit like sew, pick flowers, or go dress shopping. It's not like I don't like wearing dresses or picking flowers, I just crave a sense of adventure you know?" you say. "Well what kind of adventurous things do you like to do?" he asked, intrigued. You got really excited and went on about how you loved archery, martial arts, and reading.
Katuki's Pov
This is honestly the most interesting girl I have ever met in my entire life, she's so intelligent and adventurous ; not like all of the other clones my parents tried to match me up with. They all said the same things, things that I wanted to hear. None of them were ever real with me but Y/N... even though she might be a little bit of a bitch, she's something special.
"...and F/B is my favorite book of ALL TIME I'm up to chapter 8 right now and-"

Katsuki led you out of the forest and turned a corner, bringing you to a large field covered with targets, fighting tools, and bow and arrows. "This is where I like to train and just chill out." he said almost smiling. "THIS IS SO COOL OMIGOSH SHUIAHIDHA CAN I USE THIS ONE PLEASE LETS HAVE A COMPETITION COMON" you screamed admiring everything in front of you.

You and Katsuki were having a shooting competition with the bow and arrows, you had just won 5 to 4. "Y/N YOU DAMN SHOW OFF YOU CHEATED." Katsuki yelled "SHUTUP YOU AIRHEAD, JUST ADMIT IT I'M BETTER AT ARCHERY THAN YOU" you said laughing. He charged towards you, picking you up and throwing you into a nearby pond. "WHAT THE HELL KATSUKI" you screamed, he just kneeled by the edge of the pond laughing his head off. You pulled him in the pond with you, catching him off guard. "Y/N YOU MADE ME GET WATER UP MY NOSE" he yelled.
"Oops." you said sarcastically with a grin.

It was the day before the wedding, and the entire palace was in full swing. Workers were decorating the halls, chefs were preparing food, and your mother was close to exploding.
You had a lot planned for that day you had to make a final decision on a dress, practice wedding customs, do your hair, etc. You had already eaten breakfast so it was time to pick a dress. You followed Katsuki's mom and your mom into a large dressing room with about three different dress choices. Since you were marrying into Katsuki's culture, it was deemed respectful that you would wear a wedding dress of his culture.
"Go try on the first one" your mother said, you nodded and went behind the privacy wall.

"What do you think?" you asked spinning around, "Hm, I like it but I think we should look at the others." Mitsuki said. Your mother nodded in agreement with her, "Try on the next on Y/N." she said sharply.
2𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨
"Eh, I like it but it doesn't match the wedding colors." said you mom. "I agree" Mitsuki said, so you went behind the privacy wall to try on the last dress.

"I really like this one!" you said with a smile. "This is it, I love it!" Mitsuki said with a grin. Your mom smiled and nodded her head in agreement.

Mitsuki had led you into the hall where the wedding would be taking place, your mother trailing behind you both. Then Mitsuki began explaining some things.
"Alright Y/N were going to practice for when you get to the altar over here. So when you actually get up here me and Hiashi will be by Katsuki's side, and your parents by your side, we'll exchange lucky objects which we both already have prepared for tomorrow. Then we'll sit down while the priest preforms the act of purification, and he'll extort any evil sprits.". You nodded with a smile.
"After that you and Katsuki will both give food offerings to God and then recite Shinto prayers, for happiness in the future. Now here comes the big part: The Nuptial cups. You and Katsuki will exchange nuptial cups which is called san san ku do. Both of you will drink Sake three times from three different sized cups called sakazuki. Then us parents will take a sip, sealing the bond between both families. The first three sips represent the three couples, the second three sips represent the flaws of hatred and ignorance, and the last three sips represent freedom from the flaws." Mitsuki said with you intrigued.
"After the Nuptial cup exchange, you will both recite your vows. Following with the offering of the sacred tree, the Sakaki. This concludes the actual wedding portion and then it goes into the reception, which is fairly simple. You'll quickly change into a Uchikake, which is a floral robe that you'll wear over a white kimono. Then everything is chill for the most part, there will be a feast, guests will give gifts, and there will speeches and performances, nothing major." she said with a smile.
You and Mitsuki began to practice the wedding rituals and customs until you got the hang of it.

Eventually dinner time came around and everyone was eating and talking.
"Hey Y/N." whispered your brother, Rallah.
"Yeah?"
"Are you nervous about tomorrow?" he said with a concerned face.
To everyone else you made it look like you were happy to be here and that you wanted to marry Katsuki. Although you had shared some fun times with him, deep down you really didn't want to get married. You wanted to have a legacy, something you could be proud of, something people would remember for generations to come. That dream didn't look so realistic now.
"A little, but I'll be fine I swear!" you said with a fake smile.
"Alright, whatever you say.." he said, not really believing your answer.

Since tomorrow was the big day, your handmaids went into full on beast mode. You took a warm bath spritzed with rose scented perfume and cherry blossom petals. After finishing your bath and drying up, you changed into a silk robe while the maids got to work. Your hair was styled, pinned back, and put in a headscarf to protect it while you sleep. After shaving, doing your nails, and facial treatments you were all set for tomorrow, so you hopped into bed and laid down.
You had so many thoughts going through your head about tomorrow and how it would change your life forever...
