Rox's POV
"So why am I here?" I asked them while sitting down and crossing my arms
" Technically, you're part of the group and Carl's cousin " sabat naman ni Nigel
I rolled my eyes
" I'm in no one's group. Just Carl's cousin and what's with the sudden announcement by the way? Is it that important? " bored kong sabi
I am currently regretting my decision on coming because of these persons sorrounding me
" Maybe. He will not gather us all if it's not " Kristian replied
Tumango na lamang ako at hindi na sumagot . Well the rest of the boys is also here with their special 'someone' which are my friends too . It's the second time that we are gathered in the same place together
I just played with my finger nails when I realized something
" Teka lang , kailan ka lumabas ng hospital? hindi ka na ba tanga?--- I mean ayos ka na? " I asked Nigel
All of them laughed except Justine Flip whose staring at me intently kanina pa . What's the problem with this man
" Hindi na--- I mean ayos na ako . Fuck you. Huwag mo akong kausapin " binato naman ako ni Nigel ng handkerchief nang tumawa ako ng malakas sa sagot niya
" Oh great you're all here " Bungad naman ni Carl sa amin na hila si Chels
" Yes we're here . So what's the reason why you invited us in your house? " Shayne raised her eyebrow
" I would like to tell you guys that Chelsea and I are already together . She said yes the other day " Carl grinned
" Tangina ikaw palagi ang nauuna ha" sabat naman ni Henri
All of us congratulated them
" Lord anak mo rin ako , when kaya " sabi naman ni Keeyan. Kinurot naman siya ni Cole sa tagiliran
" Yun lang announcement mo? " Flip commented for the first time
I rolled my eyes at him . Kill Joy
" No . I was planning a vacation for us since holiday sa monday . It's also a time for us to have a quality time together and to celebrate " Carl answered
Tumango naman ang iba . Ako lang umiling
" can't go " I told them
They looked at me with questionable expressions
" I have important plans " tipid kong sagot
We have a mission on weekend . And it's not just a mission to neglect . It involves child trafficking . I'll go there to investigate . Well kasama kami dapat ni Cole pero since may pupuntahan , ako nalang siguro mag isa
" Ako rin " sabat ni Cole
" Talaga ? Saan ka pupunta? Hindi na tayo magkasama? " gulat na tanong ni Keeyan sa kaniya
Tumingin naman ako sa kaniya at umiling . I just gave her with a "Ako na lang" look at kumunot naman ang noo niya na kalaunan tumango
" Actually , pwede naman next day nalang . So yeah , I'm coming nalang pala " bawi niya
" Ikaw Rox? hindi ba pwede sa next day nalang ang gagawin mo ? " Carl asked me
" Hindi pwede eh . Sorry guys " pagpaumanhin ko
" Me too . I'm not going " Flip suddenly said
The boys smirked
" Why? " nakakunot-noo namang tanong ni Chelsea
" I have plans with my fiance "
and that hit right into my chest
" Hindi ba pwede postpone yan? " Nigel rolled his eyes
" No " tipid niyang sagot
" Sumunod ka nalang pagkatapos ng gagawin mo " Kristian said
" Fine " pagsang-ayon niya sa huli
" Ikaw Rox hindi ka susunod ?" Carl asked
" Nah , it's out of town " I told them
Tumango na lamang sila and stopped persuading me . After that , kumain kami at nauna na akong umuwi dahil wala naman akong dahilan para manatili pa roon . Wala naman ako kukulitin dahil busy sila sa jowa nila.
Habang nagmamaneho ako ay may tumawag naman sa phone ko ma agad ko naman sinagot , naka-connect naman kasi ito sa sasakyan ko
" Why are you calling me this late at night ?" I asked him
He just chuckled
" It's morning here Lilliana. Did you forget ? " he answered
I just rolled my eyes
" By the way , Saturday . I'll arrive at 5 p.m . I expect you to be there " He reminded me
" Sir I'm not your bodyguard " I complained
" But I'm your best friend "
I can imagine him pouting on the other line
" Alright Steve , I'll be there . Stop sulking " I told him
" Does Stephen know that you're coming home? " I added
" Nope . You know that my older brother doesn't care about me Lilliana " he answered
Yes . He's Steven Arellano . He's Stephen's younger brother . He's 2 years younger than us but he's already taller than me. He lives in the US dahil he rebelled against his brother and parents . He wanted to be free .
" Ok . You're staying at my condo? Sa dorm naman ako tumitira " I told him
" Yes please. I don't want to stay at other people's place " he answered relieved
" Ok . I'll see you on Saturday . Mag-ingat ka Steven " I reminded him
" Ok . Thank you Lilliana " he said and then ended the call
He's the also the reason why I can't go . He's too precious para pabayaan lang mag-isa dito. He's not familiar with the place and people because Stephen and his family lived in the province before and Steven just took a flight straight from the US without going to manila .
Habang nagmamaneho ako , I was planning on what to do for my investigation . Since hindi sasama si Cole , the plan has changed and I'm gonna start from the beginning again . Great .
Lee's POV
" What's wrong? Ba't parang ang tahimik mo kanina pa? " Kristian asked with worry plastered on his faced
" I'm fine tian. I'm just not feeling well " I warmly smiled at him
Actually , I'm not . I'm worried for Rox. She's doing things on her own again . Nababahala ako . I wanted to go with her but baka maghinala nga ang iba .
" Do you want to go home ? Let's go home na " he suggested
" No , I'm still ok pa naman . Just finish drinking " I refused
Yes . They're still here at Carl and Nigel's house . Mag-iinom pa raw sila kahit ilang bote lang dahil they missed drinking . Hmp . Parang last week hindi sila uminom sa bar para samahan si Flip .
" You sleepy? You can lean on me " and then he wrapped his free hand on my waist
" Sana all " Nigel teased and my face heated up
"You're ruining their moment " hinampas naman siya ni Shayne sa balikat
"By the way , Hoy Justine Flip " lahat naman ng atensiyon naman ay nabaling kay Flip nang tawagin siya ni Keeyan
Flip just raised his eyebrow while drinking
" Kailan ka pa nagka-fiance ha? Ba't hindi koto alam? " tanong niya
" Bro , his fiance literally told the whole class that she's his fiance " natatawang sabi ni Carl
" Really? She's a badass then " Henri chuckled
" But Not as badass as---- " hindi naman natuloy ang sasabihin sana ni Nigel when Flip glared at him
" As my girlfriend siyempre " he faked laughed. Shayne just rolled her eyes
" So kailan nga? " Keeyan asked again
" Don't know . Few weeks ago ? A month ? Don't care " Flip shrugged
" Don't care pero may quality time " Henri laughed
" And you believe him? He probably just made that up to follow R----" and again hindi naman natuloy ang sasabihin sana ni Nigel nang batukan na siya ni Flip sa inis
I just chuckled
" To follow Rox. We know it Flip . You don't need to hide it . But unfortunately , you can't. She's with her family and when she's with them you cannot track them even their shadows " si Shayne na ang napatuloy sa sinabi ni Nigel
" I know " Flip mumbled
Tumikhim naman ako
" And also, why would you that? May fiance ka na Justine Flip " masungit kong sabi sa kaniya
" Of course baby, he likes her " Kristian chuckled
Napamulahan naman ako nang tawagin ulit ako ni Kristian sa ganoong salita pero kalaunan kumunot ang noo
" You're giving her mixed signals " I shrugged
" At paano mo iyon nalaman? Do you know wether she likes me or not? " balik naman ni Flip sa akin
Doon naman ako natigilan . Damn .
" Of course she doesn't . But Flip , You like her yet you're showing her lovey dovey things with your fiance . Even if she likes you or not , she will conclude that she doesn't have a chance with you . " sinalo naman ni Cole ang tanong
Thank god.
" She's right . If you like her then tell her straight ahead " Carl agreed
" Just like what you did to me , we just met for two days and you freaking courted me " Chelsea rolled her eyes
" You need to choose Justine Flip . Your fiance or my friend " Shayne told him coldly
Tumango naman si Justine
" I'll make a move " he said with finality
" Yes . Finally " Nigel grunted
" I hope she'll like you too " Kristian told him
I just smirked and shook my head slowly
Oh no babe . You can get your ways on us easily but you cannot surpass our leader . She has an invisible wall greater that the Great Wall of China and that makes her our leader .

Just a short update cause our school gave us a whole quarter of modules and we need to answer it for only two weeks and then pass 🙃
