"What now..?" You asked the male who is pacing back n forth while continuously biting his nails.His nervous condition is not helping you either.
"Why the heck I didn't think about this"He mumbled.You held his wrist to stop him."biting your nails won't give you a solution" He heaved out a long sigh.
"I'm really sorry, I dragged you in my problems and now this marriage" He trailed off and sat on the couch.
"Don't apologise , I should be the one thanking you for bringing me out of the hell hole" You exclaimed softly.
You heard a knock at the door and went to open it."y/n ?" You nodded at the male standing in front of you in formal attire just like Mr.Jeon.
"Min Yoongi , Jungkook's brother" He smiled.
"Hyung…" Jungkook whined while walking towards you both and hugged Yoongi.
"Help me Hyung" He keeps mumbling, earning an eye roll from Yoongi.
"You always get yourself into a mess then come to me whining, Dad is right.You need to be more mature ,responsible and independent for your betterment" Yoongi slightly pushed Jungkook off him and walked inside the room.
Jungkook pout and followed Yoongi while you shut the door behind.
"Hyung I'm mature enough" Jungkook mumbled."Yeah I can see" Yoongi replied.
"Your wedding is postponed to next month and about the position of CEO ,I can't do anything about it.Dad isn't wrong this time.He only wants you to be independent and more responsible"
"He agreed to postpone the wedding?" Jungkook asked surprised."Yeah only because I told him that you would need time to adjust to your new lifestyle as CEO and please Jungkookie ,no more tricks this time.You enjoyed your life as much as you wanted now it's time for you to take your responsibilities"
Jungkook nodded with a sigh.He doesn't have any other choice , after all he has always fulfill his wishes without caring about his mother and Yoongi who has to lie just because of him.
"But I will join Company next week" He exclaimed.
"Why next week?" Yoongi raised an eyebrow at him.
"Y/n is new here so I was thinking to show her around.Just one week please" Jungkook said showing his puppy eyes which he knows is Yoongi's weakness.
"I swear you are so annoying" Yoongi exclaimed and walked out of the room before yelling "only a week"
"Jungkook , the wedding is still not cancelled" You exclaimed.
"Don't worry ,we still have a month.I'll think something" He replies.
"Don't tell me at the last minute that we are going to run away" He chuckled while shaking his head that his fluffy hairs covered his eyes.
"That's not a bad idea "He laughed while brushing his hair back.You just sigh.
"Chill y/n-ah, we are going out tomorrow.I'm sure you are going to enjoy it" He exclaimed while laughing softly that you couldn't help but to smile.

10 : 21 pm
"I'll sleep on the couch, make yourself comfortable on the bed" Jungkook exclaimed while grabbing his pillow and blanket.
"I can sleep on couch" You said."Nah" He exclaimed and plopped on the couch , completely ignoring your words.
"Jungkook you really don't have to leave your own bed because of me" You tried to reason, feeling bad that he is sleeping on couch in his own room.
"Chill woman and go to sleep..wait did you take your medicines?" He sat straight on the couch.You nodded earning a smile from him. "Good"
You lay down on the bed and stared at the ceiling.He might be childish but still a gentleman.Playful but harmless.
You turned around and watched your baby sleeping peacefully in the cradle."We don't have to go back to that person, I promise to be strong for you baby" You thought and closed your eyes to drift to dreamland.
1 : 23 am
Jungkook woke up and turned around only to realize he is on the couch not on his soft mattress.He sigh while getting up and stared at your sleeping figure then turned towards Sarang who is wide awake but not making any noise.
He lift her in his arms earning few giggles from her."Baby why are you still awake?" He whispered while caressing her cheeks.
Jungkook smiled but soon it replaced with a frown as Sarang started tearing up.He panicked thinking he did something.
"Shh baby" He whisper while rocking her back n forth in his arms , carefully.She calmed down and closed her eyes which relaxed Jungkook.
He slowly pat her back time to time to make sure she falls back to sleep.He walks back towards the couch with Sarang still in his arms.
"How do she takes care of you all the time"Jungkook mumbled and looked at Sarang who was again moving.He hums a song while patting her back, he didn't realize when he fell asleep on the couch.
At y/n's Hometown :
"She is such a disgrace for our family" Her father exclaimed through gritted teeth.Her so-called husband scoffed while clenching his fist.
"Is this what you taught your daughter?She is such a slut who went to bar when I wasn't around and god knows what she did there, I feel disgusted just by the thought of it" He exclaimed ,her parents looked down in shame.
"She had ruined my image and I'm not going to spare her for that ! I will find her and show her what sin she has committed !" He yelled out angrily.
"Do whatever you want ,we won't stop you.She is nothing to us, we don't care even if she die" Her father exclaimed.
"I will find her at any cost"
Jungkook's room :
Your eyes fluttered open and you turned to the other side but sat straight with wide eyes not finding Sarang in the cradle.You was about to call out Jungkook's name but closed your mouth seeing him sleeping on the couch with your daughter sleeping peacefully in his embrace.
You stared at them in awe ,not realizing that your lips itself curved upwards.You walked towards him and carefully picked Sarang which cause Jungkook to wake up.
He stretched his arms and legs then look at you with his half closed eyes."Good morning" He whisper which was barely audible.
"You could have wake me instead of ruining your sleep for Sarang" You said softly.
"You took your medicines so I don't wanted to disturb you.Stop feeling bad about it ,I can do this for my daughter" He exclaimed tiredly ,his words trailed off in the end because he is still sleepy.
You sigh before smiling sadly.Her own father never spare a glance at her and here a mere stranger is ruining his sleep just for her,calling her his daughter while her biological father only cursed her.
What are you Jungkook?How could you have such a pure heart.You are like an Angel sent by God to help me.I can never thank you enough.I wish you all the happiness in your life.
You thought with a genuine smile on your lips.He groaned as his back and neck aches because of sleeping in an uncomfortable position.
"What time is it?" He asked before yawning.You looked at the wall clock and tell him the time.8 : 02 am
He looked at you with wide eyes and quickly grabbed his blanket and the pillow before throwing it on the bed.You looked at him confusedly as why is he in such a hurry.
"Put Sarang back in the cradle , hurry up" You did as he said.
"W-what are yo-
"I'm really sorry about it but mom might come to check up on us so we have to make sure we look like a couple" He exclaimed in one breath.
He lay down on the bed and you hesitantly lay beside him."Sorry" He mumbled noticing your hesitancy.He covered you and him with a blanket.
Your heart rate increased as he put his arm over your waist , making sure to not touch you.His arm was basically in the air just an inch away from your skin.But it won't be obvious because of the blanket so his mom might fell for it right?
You looked at him only to see him already staring at you.
"Your mole makes you look more attractive"
He said as his gaze moved to your bottom lip which had a mole on it.
He closed his eyes mentally slapping himself for saying that.Just then you heard a soft knock at your door then close your eyes as the door creaked open.
His mother opened the door not wide enough but just to peek in to check if you both are awake.
"Jungkookie wake up" She exclaimed in a low soft tone ,just then Sarang started crying.You & Jungkook both sat straight hearing your daughter's cries."Mom.."Jungkook whined while you picked your daughter in your arms.
"It wasn't my intention to make her cry" His mom defended herself and approached you to take Sarang.
"I can't stay away from my granddaughter, I was just excited" His mom said and you just smiled assuring her that it's fine.
"I can take care of her ,you both go fresh up okay"You nodded at her words."Good morning baby..granny will bathe you" You chuckled at Jungkook's mother's attempt.She really adore Sarang a lot ,more than your parents or husband ever did.
Your eyes brimmed with tears ,feeling overwhelmed but you blinked them away which didn't go unnoticed by Jungkook.
"You can use the bathroom first Ma'am" He bowed and you just shake your head at his dramatic behavior."Maybe we can use it together"He wiggled his eyebrows at you.
You just stared at him in disbelief ,he was being all nice but Mr.Flirt has to enter the scene."I can bless your eyes with my masculine body" He said while getting off the bed but groaned as his body is still aching.
You laughed at him which caught his attention.He just stared at you and you stopped laughing , already regretting laughing at him.
"You should laugh even more" He chuckled as he saw you laughing for the first time."hey where's that beautiful smile of yours ,where did it go?" You just looked away feeling your cheeks heating up at his words.
"I'll use the bathroom"You mumbled trying to suppress your smile and went to the bathroom.Jungkook just laughed but yelped as his muscles aches with his every movement.

"Y/n are you ready?" Jungkook barged into the room making you flinch but you sigh seeing him."Sorry" He smiled nervously but his lips parted seeing you in the floral dress.His lips curved upwards but soon that smile dropped when his eyes land on your back as you turned around to look yourself into the mirror.
You forgot about the visible bruises on your back which is now in view.Jungkook's eyes which were shining in excitement now turned to sadness.He walks towards you while he feels his throat getting dry.
How much she suffered.. how could that bastard do this to her..His fist clenched just at the thought of your husband.If he ever came in front of Jungkook then he won't hesitate to break his hands.
You winced as Jungkook's finger made its way to your back.You turned around to look at him who didn't say anything but stared at you.
"Y/n.."He called out softly."There are several b-bruises on your back" He sulk in a sharp breath ,he himself don't know why it's hurting him.You looked down not knowing what to say , you started getting insecure about your body now.Offcourse my whole body is filled with bruises and cuts and here I was trying this dress.
You never really think much about your body and accepted it as your fate but now you feel disgusted with your own body filled with bruises which makes you feel like the ugliest creature on this planet.
Your eyes turned glossier while you feel so small under his gaze.
"y/n..did you apply ointment on it?" He asked and you didn't expected this from him.
"I think t-that nurse treated my bruises that day, I didn't use ointment after that" You managed to speak.A sigh left his lips and he held your hands before giving it a light squeeze.
"You are the strongest girl I have ever seen after my mom.I don't know much about you but trust me you are an Angel and you deserve to be treated like a Princess.Maybe you still don't trust me enough but I would be glad if you will open up to me.

You broke into a small smile while a tear rolled down your cheek which he wiped away with his thumb.You closed your eyes trying your best to not cry but his words warmed your heart.
No one ever tried to comfort you whenever you needed.A point came where you stopped expecting love ,care and the warmth of someone whom you can call your safe place.
It was so overwhelming that you couldn't control your emotions and gladly Jungkook didn't act like those who you once called family.He pulled you into a hug and caress your hairs as you cried against his chest.
"By the way did I tell you how beautiful you look" He whispered and you sniffled against his chest ,feeling embarrassed."I k-know I don't..w-who looks good with bruises all over their b-body...i-its u-ugly I k-know"
His eyes widen at your words and he pulled away to look into your eyes."You are beautiful okay , never call yourself ugly.I'm not saying this to make you feel better" He gently turned you around to make you face the mirror.
"I could see the girl who didn't give up after going through a lot ,I could see the girl who is ready to fight the world for her daughter, I could see the girl who thinks about others before herself and standing strong after walking on fire.If this isn't beauty then what is?
Have you ever seen your smile when you are with Sarang, that's one of the prettiest thing about you" He smiled softly.
You stared down at your feets not knowing how you exactly felt.It's a new feeling yet so complicated.Every negativity seems to fade away and you find yourself smiling.
"Come I'll help you with the ointment" He dragged you towards the bed and you just stared at his fingers intervined with yours.
"Are you comfortable with me applying it on you?He asked and you nodded."I would have ask Mom to do it but she is going to ask many questions—
"It's ok I understand" You cut him mid sentence.He smiled and carefully applied ointment on your back while his other hand was still intervined with yours , slightly squeezing it time to time.His small actions are so soothing
——11 : 7 am——
"Let's go" You followed Him to his car before bidding bye to your daughter who seems to enjoy Mrs.Jeon's company.
"Where are we going?" You asked Jungkook after five minutes of him driving in complete silence.It was kind of awkward so you decided to start a conversation.
"First we will meet my friends and then we all will decide, don't worry you will like them" He smiled.You nodded.
After at least 20 minutes of driving ,the car came to a halt.You hopped out and just stared at the restaurant.This looks too expensive.
You never went to any expensive restaurant, heck never visit a simple one because of your so called parents and husband who never let you step out of the house.
You couldn't help but to feel anxious, which you tried not to show as you don't want to embarrass Jungkook or waste his time because of you.
You just admire the interior while following Jungkook like a lost puppy who chuckled seeing your surprise expressions.
"Hey Jungkook, we are here" You turned your head and noticed some boys and girls of Jungkook's age on the nearby table.They all smiled while Jungkook hugged them one by one.
"Baby I missed you so much" It was a girl in a crop top and ripped jeans with curly hair, her sharp features makes her look more beautiful.
Baby? Didn't he say that he never talked with girls?
