As Landon went back to the real world Hope was still stuck fighting the monster that ate the Necromancer. As she was fighting the monster in the real world Landon realized that the cuts and bruises she got in there was showing on her in the real world.
He sat there stunned and only moved once Josie and Wade entered the room. The brunette was speachless and couldn't belive what was happening.
"What happend to Hope? Why is she still in there?" Wade asked in horror.
"I..I.. he..just..came out of no..nowhere and attacked us" Landon was stuttering now.
"She sent me back and she is fighting the monster, he cut her but her injuries are visible here. I think she is infected" he said in horror.
As the three of them sat there and watch was happening to Hope Josie got irritated and took off to try a way to get her back.
"I be back.. make sure that nothing else happens to her" she said to Wade who was worried.
"Where are you going?" He asked her and she looked back at him.
"Gonna try to find some answers" she said and walked out.
She took the crystal in her hand and was trying to connect with her dead mother who might have some kind of answer.
She entered her old room and sat on her bed. She touch the crystal and suddenly the room change into a familiar place where she used to hide and let her alter ego out. This was not the place she wanted to be in.
"Well well.. long time no see miss goody two shoes" a very familiar voice said and she turned around to see her alter ego Dark Josie.
"No.. no this can't be right.. you're dead.. I killed you" she stuttered.
"Oh don't be like that.. I'm still a part of you.. I always will be Josie. Whether you like it or not we are the same" her darker self said.
"No.. I wanted to speak to my mom, not you" she said.
Her alter ego laughed and gave her a smile.
"Sorry kill your bubbles but clearly your conscience wants to speak to me. You obviously have some deep issues hoping to get some answers that deep inside you have been buried" she said and Josie tilted her head.
Her alter ego was right.. she had been buried this for a long time that in the end she just forgets them or until they explode in front of her.
"Hope is in trouble and we don't know what to do" she said and her alter ego laughed once again.
"Why would I care?" She asked the brunette.
"Because I care and I know that you know something" she almost shouts.
"Oh all I know is that Hope is turning into a monster and you're here talking to me without any real reason" she answers back and the brunette let go of the crystal.
She walked back to the room and Hope was starting to walked up.l only thing is that the infection was starting to turn the her into a master really fast.
Hope was growling and turning her head around until she found what she was looking for.
As she set her eyes on Landon she shreek and was about to jump on him when she heard Josie's vocie.
"HOPE DON'T" she turned to face the brunette. She tried to speak but couldn't. She didn't want to hurt anyone but the monster in her was taking over really fast.
"Josie" a faint vocie was heard but was quickly pushed back by the monster again.
The three of them ran out of the room and entered the kitchen until Josie ran to the library where she had found the information she was looking for.
Wade entered as she just finished reading.
"Did you find anything?" He asked.
"Not much but it clearly wants Landon since she is not hunting us" she stated and Wade felt relived.
"So how are we gonna help her" he asked.
"Well she has about 2 hours until whatever infected her takes over her body completely, I found something but it's in sanskrit" she said and Wade was happy to hear that.
"Wait here don't move, I be back" she said and ran back to her room with the book in hand and took the crystal back in her hand and her alter ego appears once more.
"I thought you didin't want to see me but here we are once again" she smirked.
"I need to know what it says in here. I found a way to help Hope but it's in sanskrit" she said and her alter ego shook her head.
"Oh no.. really? That's a shame" she said in a mocking tone.
"Just tell me what it says so I can help her" she said.
"Why should I care?" Dark Josie asked her.
"Because I care about her" she yells out.
"Oh there she is, the sassy little witch that is hiding" she giggles.
"Just tell me" Josie was getting frustrated.
"Fine" she said and looked at the book and chuckled.
"What? What does it say?" Josie was pacing back and forth.
"Well you need a silver dagger" she said and Josie was smiling. She knew where she could find one.
"Dad has one in his office. He uses it to open his liquors" she said and was about to leave the room.
"Not so fast miss sunshine" her alter ego said and Josie turned around.
"Yoh need a chanted silver dagger and as far as I know you don't have magic, Wade is a fairy, Landon is human and there is no witch in sight" she said and Josie shook her head.
"No no.. you just want me to take back my magic so you can take over me once again and screw me over" she said angry.
"Oh here we go again.. I told you.. I have always been here Josie, I will never go away because I am you" she stated.
"No.. bullshit" she said.
"I don't understand you. You claim that you want a normal life like a human but you're not happy even if you try to convince yourself that you are. You keep on running from your problems and even your relationships fails as a human" she says and Josie gritted her teeth.
"I am happy and why are we talking about my relationships?" She shouts.
"Ask yourself why you badly want to help Hope even after she almost killed you and Lizzie. You claim your happy but you keep on pushing away everyone who has shown you interest and yet you keep on running back to Hope everytime she is in trouble" she said and Josie looks away.
"Why do you care so much about someone who is willing to kill you just to save someone they claim that they love" she pushes the brunette.
"Why Josie why? Why do you care about her soo much" keeps on asking her until Josie gets agitated and shouts.
"BECAUSE I LOVER HER, I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HER" she screams out making her evil self laugh.
"Congratulations, you just made one realization about yourself" her darker counterpart said.
"I love her but I can't take my magic back" she whispers as she's calms down.
"You say that you are strong and good but how can you be strong why are you so afraid of your own power and if you're sooo good why are you letting the girl you love turn into a moster" she asked the brunette who was now speachless that she froze and dropped the crystal.
Her thoughts was cut off when Wade barge in to her room and they both left to go back to the library.
They where all hiding in the library when Hope fell down from the ceiling window and crashed on the table.
Landon was running into the common room and tried to talk some sens into his girlfriend.
Wade comes and stands between the two but was quickly pushed away by Hope. Josie on the other hand took back her magic and enchanted the dagger.
She blast spell on the older girl and pinend her on the wall.
"You took back your magic" Landon said.
"Yeah well I had no choice. I had to cast a spell on the dagger" she said.
"You need to stab her.. in her heart" Wade said and both Landon and Josie was stunned.
"No we can't do that... we don't even know if she will survive" she said.
"We have that's the only way" the fairy said.
"I do it" Landon said and took the dagger from the brunette.
"Wait no Lando don't.. we don't know what will happen to Hope, we can't just risk her life. There has to be another way" she shouted at him but he didn't care or hesitate.
Deep inside Hope could hear Josie's pleading and scared voice. Hope knew that the brunette was right. There is always a loop hole and her boyfriend seems to not give a shit or even hesitate.
"He isn't even hesitating about stabbing me or the fact that I could die and become a vampire. Why? Why do I keep forgiving him evertime he takes the easy way out of every problem" she asks herself.
"How could I not see how beautiful she is? She had always been there from me even if I've nearly killed her. Josie my beautiful Josie" she keeps on staring at the younger girl and concentrating at her fully lips and her beautiful eyes until see feels the dagger deep in her heart.
"Please come back to me" she hears her so called boyfriend whisper in her ear.
She pushes herself away from his embrace and looks at him.
"Well this is a disaster of a date" she said and Landon just smiles and kisses her head. She locks eyes with the brunette who looked like she got kicked. She could see Josie shedding a tear and walks away.
Landon and Hope was sitting on the floor. Hope felt nothing once Landon kissed her lips and she pulls away.
"What is it? You seem worried" he said and she looked at him.
"You didin't hesitate" she said and he was lost of words.
"I.. I had to" he said with a low voice.
"I know but still you could've waited and find another way to save me" she said and Landon didin't know what to say.
"You always take the easy way out even though you know there is always a loop hole that can fix thing" she began to raise her voice.
"WE DIDN'T HAVE TIME AND I DID IT TO SAVE YOUR LIFE" he shouted.
"AND WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I DIED LANDON? HOW WOULD YPU EXPLAIN THAT TO DOCTOR S AND NY FAMILY?" She shouted at him.
The two keept arguing until Hope had enough.
"IM DONE LANDON, IM DONE FORGIVING YOU FOR RUNNING AWAY FROM YOUR PROBLEMS AND ALWAYS TAKE THE EASY WAY OUT. IM DONE WITH THIS BULLSHIT AND WE ARE DONE" she yelles at him.
"I can't be with someone who is willing to kill me just because it's the easy way out without even trying to find a loop hole" she says and walks away.
Days passes by since Hope got infected and she was looking for Josie was was sitting by the docks. .
The two haven't had a chance to talk after Landon had stabbed her.
"Hey Jo" she said and the brunette gave her a faint smile.
"Hey Hope" she said with a low voice.
The two sat quietly beside each other until they both started to say something at the same time.
"Hope"
"Josie" they both said and they both smiled.
"I'm sorry.. you go first" the older girl said.
Josie nodded and looked over the water and took a deep breath.
"I realized that I never stopped loving you" she started and Hope smiled at her but noticed that the younger girl didin't even look at her.
"I will always love you and that's the roots of all my problems" she said and Hope gave her a weird look.
"I have been trying to live a normal life and it worked for a few moths but then you came back and guilt tripped me into taking my magic back even when I was not ready" she said and Hope felt guilty about it.
"Both Lizzie and I almost died just because you wanted Landon back and would not stop until you get what you wanted. You used my emotions and my love for you and I can't do that anymore" she said.
Hope felt her tears running down her face as she listened to Josie.
"I will always love you Hope but I can't be friends with you anymore. Not when I'm to vulnerable around you" she finally turned to face the older girl who was crying alongside her.
"I love you Hope Andrea Mikaelson and I always will but we can't be friends anymore" she say and pulls Hope closer to kiss her lips and then pulls away.
"Goodbye Hope" she whispers and gets up to walk away from the girl who have had her heart since she was 12 years old.
Hope couldn't say a word. Her sight was blurry with tears and she turned to see the brunette walk away from her. Heart shattered into a thousand pieces.
"I love you Josette Saltzman" she whispers to herself
