[High school AU]
You were walking to your classroom. You woke up late so you thought you were late for school, but seems like you were still pretty early. You yawn as you climb the stairs.
"Y/N senpai!" You hear a familiar voice calling your name. It was Yuuji, your junior.
"Oh hey Yuuji" You wave at the boy coming your way.
"So senpai..." He was hesitating.
"Something wrong Yuuji? Need some love advice or something?" You ask, being serious actually. Since he was hesitating, you thought it was something related to love or girls.
"What? No of course not!"
"Then what is it?"
"Uh so our tests are coming and I... need guidance with that shit."
You let out a laugh, "And you think I am smart enough to guide you?" You weren't that smart, and he should have know that by now since you grew closer to each other after preparing for the school festival together.
"Come on don't say that. Help me study, will you?" He had a little pout on his face.
"I don't really know... but I'll try, I guess." You had faith in yourself that you could guide him since he is in junior class than you.
"Thanks a bunch!" He suddenly had a huge smile plastered on his face. Before you could say any more, the bell rang.
"Oh shit Yuuji let's discuss about it over the text during the class, okay?"
"Sure" He went to his class and you ran to yours. Discussing or talking about the most random things during the classes was nothing unusual for you two.
◖After school◗
You two discussed and came to conclusion that after school, you would help Yuuji with his studies at his place. You bid your friends 'bye' and walk to Yuuji, who was waiting near the school gate.
"Sorry for the wait. Let's get going now." He nods his head and you two walk to his house.
Upon reaching his place, he unlocks the door. He guides you to the living room. "Please make yourself comfortable" You nod your head and sit on the couch. It was your first time coming over to his place and you were feeling kinda awkward there.
He went to the kitchen and came back with a few chips, chocolates and some drinks.
"Let's start!" He clasped his palms.
"What exactly are we starting? Study or the food?" You pointed to the bunch of packet food he kept on the table.
"Eh? Both I guess?"
....
"Okay let's eat first. We can't possible look at the book when we have empty stomach." He said, shrugging.
"Right..."From the looks of it, you weren't going to touch the book, at least not today. Soon enough, you two were eating the snacks while watching some movie, with no sign of thoughts of studying.
You heard the door open, "I'm home" A voice spoke you look at Yuuji and he was looking at the door.
"Welcome back" He looks at you and whispers 'my brother'. A man walked to the living room, where you two were. Only then you remember the time he told that he has an older brother. On seeing you, he had a confused face.
"Oh she's Y/N she's my senior, I asked her to help me with my studies." Yuuji spoke but with every letter his voice was getting lower because we were clearly not doing what we were supposed to do.
"Umm hi? Nice to meet you..." You don't know why you greeted him as if it was a question. Oh how much you wanted to punch yourself.
"Uh hi? I'm Yuuji's older brother, Choso" And he was the same.
....
Well what now, you looked at Yuuji, he was looking at his brother and Choso was looking at you. It's awkward.
"Uh- continue your study session or whatever you two are up to. I'll be going to my room" He said and just walked away.
That evening, you two ended up wasting the evening without touching the books. You watched two full movies and Choso joined you both on the second movie. It was a pleasant evening to say at least.
The next day, you actually helped Yuuji with his studies. You finished explaining a topic to him and he was solving the problems from that topic while you were doing your homework.
After some time, the door opened and it was Choso again.
"Oh you're actually reading this time..." He entered the living room. "Here I brought you drinks" He placed the bag with the drinks on the table, "Y/N I didn't know what you actually prefer so I just brought you *some drink you like*, is that okay?" He asked scratching the back of his neck, it was still awkward between you two.
"Oh that's totally fine... I like it, thanks"
"Mmm no problem" With that he went upstairs.
After an hour or so, you left their house and walked back to your house.
It was the same for a few days, you would help Yuuji while you did your own homework and Choso started bringing some snack for the two of you as well. The brothers had a healthy and you like it. It was nice to see them caring for each other for some reason.
You were doing some math problems that your teacher gave. He gave the class extra questions just because it was weekend. You were trying to figure out what the hell the question meant, but you had no clue what so ever.
Just then Choso came downstairs after changing out of his jeans. You were going to message your friend to send you the answers but then you remembered that they aren't the type to do homework after the school when it's the weekend.
Choso noticed that you were struggling with your homework so he asked, "Need help?" He spoke out of nowhere, startling you. "Oh I'm sorry, didn't mean to startle you.."
"A-Ah no problem... and yes I need help with whatever this is."
He came and took a seat beside you and looked the question. "This isn't that difficult"
"Maybe it isn't, it's just that I'm dumb" Listening to you, he lets out a small laugh. And oh gosh, his laugh. Every time he laughs, it just becomes something you could listen to forever.
He takes your pen from the table and helps you with it. The way he explained was also really good, if he was your teacher, you might just get full marks. You would never feel bored in his class, but you would never actually focus on the lesson, but his face.
The time passed by quickly and he had helped you solve all the questions. It was already late than usual so you were going to leave, but the door again opened, revealing a couple, their mom and dad. Yuuji had shown you their family album one day while having the snacks that Choso brought so you recognized them.
"Oh my who do we have here?" Their mother spoke, oh so sweetly.
You quickly got up and greeted them, "Hello I'm Y/N, it's nice to you"
"So you're the one tutoring Yuuji? It's nice to meet you dear" Their father said. The whole family was so sweet. A perfect family you would call them.
"Thank you for looking after him, sweetie" Their mom said as she walked inside the living room, followed by their dad.
What do I say next? I don't know how to keep the conversation going!
"It's already late, would you like to join us for dinner tonight?"
"A-Ah thank you bet I- umm I don't know" You were already an awkward person and you didn't actually wanna bother the family so you wanted to refuse, but you couldn't find any good excuse.
Their mom lets out a laugh, "You don't have to feel awkward dear, it's fine. Let your parents know that you'll have dinner here so that they don't worry, okay?"
You excused yourself to call your mom. After a few rings, she picked the call.
"Y/N? Where are you? What's taking you so long today?" As soon as she picked the call, she flooded you with questions.
"Mom don't ask all the questions at the same time, I'm still at Yuuji's place. His brother helped me with my homework so it got late."
"When are you planning to get back?"
"Mrs. Itadori invited me to have dinner at their place. I called you to tell that"
You could hear your mom let out a sigh. "Fine, don't be too late."
"I know, thanks bye." With just that you end the call and go back to the living room.
"Is she fine with it?" Choso asked you.
"Yeah she just told me to not be too late."
After the dinner, you helped Mrs. Itadori with the dishes and were going to leave when she stopped you.
"Y/N dear wait for a while." You had a confused expression. "You can't possible be walking home alone at this time." She called out for Choso. "Choso, walk her home, okay? It's too dangerous for her to walk home at his hour."
"No it's fine actually, my house isn't that far from here. You don't have to trouble him."
"If it's not far than why would it be a trouble?" Mr. Itadori joined the conversation.
"That-"
"Y/N no need to be stubborn, let's go" Choso spoke, "I'll get my phone."
After that you didn't even try to protest.
"Thank you for today Mr. and Mrs. Itadori" You bowed to them.
"No need to be so formal dear. You can just address as aunt and uncle." Mrs. Itadori said.
"...Okay" You replied with a smile.
You and Choso were walking through the silent neighborhood, it wasn't that awkward as you thought I would be tho. But soon enough, it wasn't silent. A few blocks away, you could see a group of people, drunk people you could say, were talking loudly something really dirty.
It made you feel uncomfortable when they were looking your way and still blabbering shits. Choso seemed to notice this so he took your arm and pulled you closer to him then grabbed your hands.
You could feel your face heating up, but you didn't care about that and intertwined your fingers together while tightening the grip.
Even after walking a few blocks away from the group, you didn't notice that you were holding onto each other's hands. You ended up walking all the way to your house while holding hands. On reaching your house, you stopped walking, making him stop as well.
Only that's when you realize that you two have been holding hand the hold time, embarrassed, you both let go of each other's hand and looked away.
"Umm thanks for the walk"
"No problem, get inside, it's still cold at night."
You nod your head, "Good night. Get back home safely."
It was Monday and you were lazily walking to school when you meet Yuuji on the way.
"Good morning Y/N senpai" He was also still sleepy.
"Morning Yuuji" You yawn but then remembered something that you wanted to ask him since a while now. "Hey Yuuji this thing has been in my mind and I was thinking of asking you."
"What is it?"
"So you have a older brother who explain so well so why did you ask me to tutor you? Like not that I mind helping you with your studies, just curious..."
"Hmm I asked him... but he just said he didn't wanna." He rolled his eyes and let out a sigh.
"What? Why?" You couldn't help but let out a small laugh.
"He said it would be pain to look after me. That stupid ass."
"I thought you had a pretty good relation with him"
"We do but... he is apparently 'too tired' to tutor me after he his own classes."
"He is a college student, right?"
"Yep" You just 'hmm' in response.
It has already been a month that you have been tutoring Yuuji. You tutor him while his brother tutors you when you need help. You would also have dinner together with then at times. They make you feel like you're a part of their family and it made you feel warm. You have been spending so much time with them that even your mom is stopping to worry about you when you're not home early.
When you get distracted and end up staying over for longer, Choso would be the one to walk you back to your house. Even your mom has met with Choso when she was returning after a meeting with some of her friends. She thinks that he is such a gentleman, and he really is. You have grown closer to Choso a lot, like literally a lot. You have also grown feelings for him, which would be no surprise, looking at his beautiful face and his behaviors.
You were on the way back to your house, Choso dropping you off like usual. Once you reach home, you stop and turn to him.
"Well, thanks for the company..." You said with a smile and were going to walk inside you house when he called your name, making you to face him again. "Yes?"
"Y/N... I want you to know how I feel about you..." And here it was. Your heart was beating so fast and you felt like your breath was stuck in your throat.
"H-Huh? Choso?" You didn't know how to react to that. I mean you have had feelings for him for quite a while now but he was here, confessing out of nowhere and you were not ready for that.
He looked at you in your eyes, "Y/N I like you, a lot. I don't know so much about you, I'd like to get to know you more."
At this point you were a blushing mess and struggled with right words.
"Choso I-"
"It's fine Y/N, you don't have to say anything right now, I'll wait." He flashed you a smile and was turned back, about to walk away but you grab his arm to stop him.
He turned his face to look at you again, "Listen to what I have to say first" He now turned his body to you. You were looking down when you said, "Choso I.. I actually have caught feeling for you." You look up to see his face, "I like you too!" You ended up raising your voice at the last part and within a second were so embarrassed with yourself. "I- uh- good night" You were about to go but he stopped you again and placed a kiss on your lips.
"Good night y/n" He flashed you the brightest smile you'd ever seen.
