I get my books from my locker and Grant carries them to class for me when we get to the door I hug Grant and say goodbye. As I'm about to walk into the room a tall blonde haired boy named Evan walks through the door
"Who's this your new boyfriend?" Evan says in a taunting way.
"We are just friends Evan leave us alone" I say confidently and try to walk past him
"Who are you?" Grant says to Evan as sternly as he could manage
"Who am I? Who are you? I'm Kendra's boyfriend" he wraps his arm around me and try's to pull me closer. I take his arm off of me and speak up
"My ex-boyfriend!! We broke up a year ago!" I almost yell at him
"Oh yea that's right because you are a lying bitch. Ha glad I'm got out of that relationship well I could. I feel bad for you bro" Evan hits Grant on the shoulder and walks back into the class with a smile on his face. He looks pleased with the scene he just caused.
I quickly turn to Grant hopping I can explain myself but he speaks up before I can say anything.
"Go to class I'll pick you up when you are done school and you can explain what that jerk is talking about." I'm so glad Grant didn't freak out or anything.
"Okay I'll talk to you later" I say as I go to hug Grant but he turns to avoid me.
"Just explain when I see you" he turns and almost runs out of the school.
I walk into class and glare at Evan as I take my seat. I can't focus for the rest of class all I am thinking about is Grant. I don't know what I am going to tell Grant when the day is over I guess I should just stick to the truth. But that is a lot for him to know... I don't even know if I can trust him or not. But why did Grant not hug me when he left was he mad. He had no reason to be mad at me he didn't even know what I did to make Evan say those things. I was kinda mad at him for judging so quickly I knew it wasn't his fault though. Grant will forgive me though what I did to Evan wasn't bad at all. Was it?
