"I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE, YOU KNOW."
A female teenager scowled at the older blonde man who was carrying his groceries as they exit the small convenience market. The elder just stayed silent, making the younger roll her eyes before scrolling through her phone again. It was a sunny and pretty normal day at Musutafu, the usual villain appearance here and there and the heroes who always saves the day.
As the two waited outside, a dark green, slime-like villain passes in front of them, making the people around them scream as they witness it run away.
A random man near the two then sighed, "There really is no end to villains." He commented. The female raised her gaze a little at the man.
"There is an end to them," The teen looked at the now buff built blonde beside her, "Because I am here!"
The girl rolled her eyes once again as she heard the series of praises and cheers for the man. She moved out of the crowd a little as the man started to catch the attention of the bystanders near them. She impatiently tapped her foot repeatedly on the ground, her arms crossed while she watched the whole scene unfold.
Geez, all I wanted was a peaceful day to sleep but he just had to be an attention-seeker.
He immediately looked at the female teenager he was with and nodded at her, immediately sending a signal about the situation. The girl nodded back before the hero excused himself from the crowd, picked up the teenager with his speed, and quickly went to the direction where the villain went.
He was running in the speed of light, a skill he got from his quirk. Under five minutes, they landed in a tunnel with widened eyes as they witness a slime-like villain practically consuming a boy who seems to be in middle school and the same age as the female. The girl stayed back as the hero attacked the villain.
"Texas Smash!"
The moment the powerful move came in contact with the villain, the villain lets go of his hostage because of the strong wind pressure from the attack and was pretty much defeated.
The female teen rushed to the boy's limp and weak body. She placed his head on her thighs to serve as a pillow before she tapped his cheeks a few times as he tried to stay conscious. He looks at the hero who was now putting the defeated villain inside a random bottle he saw on the ground. Before the boy could properly process who the man was, he faints in the arms of the teenage girl.
The teenage girl calms down after feeling his pulse before she placed her right hand on the boy's forehead and whispered something, light starting to form on her palm. After the blonde hero successfully seals the villain in a bottle, he looks at the passed out boy.
"Poor kid. He's probably gonna be traumatized when he wakes up." He says, putting the bottle inside one of his pants' pockets. He then walked up to the two as the light from the girl's palm disappears.
"Hmm? What's this?" The girl took notice of the notebook the boy was holding tightly. She carefully pulled it from his grasp and examined it. It looked like it was burnt but it was drenched in water.
Maybe it caught fire and then he tried to put it off?
She read the title that said, "Hero Analysis for the Future." The number 13 was encircled on the side, probably signifying which volume it was. Her eyes widened at amazement as she thought of this.
She carefully opened the notebook and ran through some of the pages despite being soaked. She saw some smudge scribbles of words and drawings about some heroes she personally know as well as their quirks and what they can do. If the number on the cover page is the volume number, then that means he has 12 other notebooks like this?
"Oi, ya big buffoon, look at this." The blonde hero whipped his head towards the girl and walked up to her. He crouched down and glanced at the thing she was holding and saw the contents, "Oh, so he's a fanboy, huh?"
"A big one at that." The girl commented.
The blonde shrugged and suddenly had a pen in his hand, which the girl had no idea where he got it. He grabbed the notebook from her light grasp and went to the last page of the notebook, signing it. The girl rolled her eyes at him before taking the notebook from him with care, afraid that it would rip apart.
The big man then started to vigorously give the boy's cheeks light slaps in an attempt to wake him up, "Hey, hey."
"Stop that!" The girl hissed, slapping the big man's hands from the poor boy's cheek. The girl felt a sudden movement on her thighs, making her look down at the boy on her lap who seems to be waking up.
"Hey." The boy faintly heard as he slowly flutters his eyes open, adjusting to the light that was block by a girl's head.
The girl tried to call him a few more times before he finally fully regained his consciousness. His eyes went wide as he noticed how close the girl's face was to his. He panicked and immediately sat up, dragging his ass on the ground as an attempt to get farther away from them.
A wave of dizziness quickly hit him as soon as he sat up. The girl fortunately moved her head back when he sat up because if she didn't, their heads could've hit each other.
A-A G-GIRL? What is she doing with All Might?! W-WAIT! Why is she even with him?! Is she his girlfriend?! No, I would've been the first to know it that's true. Plus, she looks too young! She's probably my age!
The big hero placed his hands on his hips, a wide grin on his face, "I'm glad you're okay!" He beamed.
The girl stood up as well, dusting her pants and looked at the boy who looks petrified. She shook her head lightly before looking at the hero beside her who now had his right hand up as if he was waving at the boy, "Sorry 'bout getting you caught up in my villain fighting. I don't usually make mistakes like this, but I was in high hopes on my day off in a new place."
The girl rolled her eyes as the man started to heartily laugh. She then looked at the green-haired boy who seems to be in bewilderment as he process the person laughing.
"But you were a big help, thanks! I captured him safely!" The hero then raised his arms with the bottle that held the villain in hand and made a pose, which the girl disappointingly shook her head to.
The bewildered boy now seemed to be in a daze as he watch the big hero in front of him. He was trembling as he processed if the man in front of him was really his idol. He then panicked and searched for his notebook, wanting to get an autograph from the number one hero he idolize.
"Here." The green haired lad raised his gaze from the ground to the young lady in front of him, holding his notebook to him.
The sun from behind her made her look as if she was glowing, making him enticed with her presence. Her e/c orbs were staring directly at his own. He slowly took the notebook from her grasp, still entranced with the girl's beauty.
W-Who is this goddess in front of me? Am I still unconscious? Am I just dreaming? But this all feels so real. Is she even real? Maybe I'm starting to become delusional. Oh my God, am I dead?! Is she an angel and has come to take me to heaven?! Good God I-
The girl flicked the boy's forehead as she noticed him stuck in his own reverie. The green-haired male shook his head vigorously, as if he was waking up, before he looked at the glowing female. He finally fully took the notebook, making the girl move and walk back the blonde hero who was watching from behind.
The green-haired male immediately opened his notebook and tried to find a blank page but instead was shocked upon seeing that the hero already signed his notebook. He then stood up properly and repeatedly vowed every second at the hero, saying thank you non-stop, "T-Thank you very much! It'll be heirloom! A family treasure!"
"Okay!" As much as the hero still wanted to talk to the young lad, he could feel the intense glare from the young woman he was originally with, making him sweat-dropped.
He turned his back on the boy and securely placed the bottles in his pants', "Well, we need to take this guy to the police." He then glanced at him over his shoulder and raised a hand, "See you again on the other side of the screen!"
The hero now faced the cold glare of the young female, "About time."
The hero just shivered before he started stretching his legs in preparation for launch-off.
"Wait, already?" The girl glanced at the boy who had a desperate look on his face as he watch his idol stretch, "Pros are constantly fighting enemies and time." The hero remarked as he stretched some more.
"Wait..."
"Well, then." The man crouched down, making the female walk to him and sit on his wide shoulder, her feet dangling in front of the big male's chest. Her right hand was on the hero's big head for support as the hero jumped with all his might and they took off.
"I'm counting on your continued support!"
The warm gush of wind ran through the girl's skin as they traveled on air. It was peaceful, despite being on the shoulder of one of the people she detest the most. She closed her eyes and felt the air linger on her s/c skin.
Being in the sky made her feel free, and it was great.
"Wait."
Both the hero and the female looked down from where they heard a gargling sound. Both of their eyes went wide as they saw the same green-haired boy attached on one of the hero's legs, his facial muscles seem to be in the verge of being teared off.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Let go of me! Your fanaticism is too much!" The hero said as he moved his leg, trying to get the boy to detach.
"Stop that! Can't you see how high up we are you dumb geezer?! You'll kill him if you let him go now!"
The hero stopped from jiggling his leg, "That's true."
"I... have... a lot of things... I want to ask you directly!" The boy said in a muffled voice because of the strong wind pressure. The girl looked at him in disbelief.
Unbelievable, he's willing to do something as crazy as this to feed his fanboy antics?!
"Okay, okay! I get it, just close your eyes and mouth!" The boy immediately obliged and buried his face in the hero's large and muscled leg.
The hero looked around to find a proper landing spot near them. The female looked at the hero who tried to hide his coughing that came with blood. She worriedly looked at the hero before the hand on the hero's head begin to lit up.
As soon as he saw one, he went to that direction and landed on a random building rooftop near the place they were from. The girl jumped off from his shoulder's and checked the hero's state. The hero shook his head as if signalling her to not worry and that he's alright. Still doubting the hero, she reluctantly nodded.
"T-That was scary..." The two whipped their heads to the limp boy who looked like he saw his life flashed in front of his eyes. The female scoffed as she remembered his recklessness.
"Good grief." The hero turned his back at the panting kid, "If you talk to the people downstairs, I'm sure they'll let you down."
The hero looked at the female teenager who walked up to him again, "I seriously am outta time so I really must go." He said as they both began to walk away.
"Wait! Um..."
"No! I will not wait!" The hero sternly said.
"But-"
The female sat on the railings of the rooftop as she watch the once raised arm of the boy slowly go down. For some reason, she felt sorry for the boy as she saw the sad aura around him. She wanted to console him but she knew the situation at hand and its better if they leave, now.
"Even if I don't have a quirk, can I become a hero?"
The hero and the female teenager simultaneously froze at his question.
"Can someone without a quirk be like you?"
The female looked at the hero who was thinking deeply, probably finding the right words to say. She glanced at the hopeful and flustered boy, feeling sorry for him.
He's probably quirkless, the reason why he asked such question.
"Without a quirk-"
The female jumped from the railings to the rooftop's floor as she saw the hero jolt and steam started to be released from his buff body. The hero mumbled multiple curses as he crouched down. The female held his shoulder, "Let's go-"
More steam began to come from the hero as his body started to deflate, until they were both covered with steam. They didn't even paid attention to the mumbling and questions the green-haired boy they were with was making.
Damn, too late.
"I want to be the greatest hero, like you!"
The steam now lifted from the both of them. They both looked at the boy, the hero, now in his original form, deadpanned at the young lad while the girl's eyes widened. The boy looked as if he saw something so disturbing as he screamed.
We're screwed.

The female and the now deflated and weakened hero rand down the streets towards where the explosion they saw was probably located. After confronting the green haired boy, the hero noticed how the bottle that contained the captured villain was no longer in his pockets at the same time, they saw an explosion from the building's window and immediately knew it was the work of the villain earlier.
As for the boy they left on the rooftop, the two had no choice but to tell him the vague truth about the hero's predicament as well as the answer to his question. The girl shivered as she remembered the words that the hero said to the boy.
"I cannot simply say ,"You can become a hero even without power." If you want to help others, then you could also become a police officer."
"It's not bad to dream, but you also have to be realistic, young man."
There was no better way to say the truth, she perfectly knew that. She remembered the devastated face the boy made after hearing those words from his idol. She knew those words crushed his spirit as she saw the light in his eyes completely fade. But... she knew how hypocritical the hero's words were.
The female wanted to console the broken hearted boy but there were more important matters they have to handle.
The female ran faster than the weakened male she was with, probably because he was already at his limits. Once they arrived at the scene, in Tattooin Shopping District, both their faces turned into a horrified expression upon seeing the situation. People were at the sides for safety but the area around the villain seemed to be destroyed. Flames engulfed every corner, debris flying everywhere, explosions blowing up every minute, and people evacuating from the main area the villain was at.
It was chaotic.
Heroes and police alike were already there, assessing the situation and thinking of a resolution. The same villain they both encountered before was in the middle of the scene, destroying everything. The girl eyes' widened upon clearly seeing the villain, "He has a hostage..."
The boy was struggling as he tried to get out of the villain's grasp using both his strength and his quirk but it was no use as the villain was completely stuck to him, as if it was trying to consume him. The other heroes who were present tried to attack the villain but all their attacks were useless due to the villain's liquid body composition.
The villain became even more aggressive as he witnessed the strong quirk his hostage possesses. Even the female was shocked with his quirk, wondering how the hell did he become this thing's hostage if he has such a strong quirk?
The crowd cheered for the appearance of the newly debuted hero, Mt. Lady, but she wasn't much of help as well in defeating the villain because of her quirk. The heroes all either have their hands full with evacuating the citizens and putting out the fire or was at a disadvantage because of their quirk.
The blonde male sweat-dropped upon realising how the villain escaped from him. He clutched the area where his permanent injury was while he started degrading himself. He looked at the female he was with who seems to be in deep thought as she looked at the situation.
She's probably devising a plan with that smart mind of hers.
A certain green-haired boy was seen through the girl's peripheral view. She looked at his petrified eyes as he stared at the villain. She could feel the emotion of guilt building up inside of him as he blamed himself for the situation, his hand covering his mouth and tears welled up at the brim of his eyes.
It's the same with the green-haired's clothes. Probably a uniform?
The girl finally thought of a solution as she heard the things the crowd was saying and caught a glimpse of the hostage's clothes. She wasn't included in this solution however, she knew it would be the only way to fix this. The female discreetly placed her hand on the blonde's back, her hands lighting up again. The male didn't seem to notice this as he wallowed in his own self-degradation.
The guilt from both males were becoming a lot stronger, just like what she expected. The light from her hand was becoming brighter as her breathing started to slow down.
A minute later, she noticed the green haired boy mindlessly dashed forward to where the villain was. I was right. The boy tried everything he can to pull the hostage from the villain. Heroes, police, and witnesses alike were screaming, telling him to stop and get away from the villain. They were all concerned and worried for the boy but the one they were screaming at seemed to have gone deaf as he tried to achieve his one goal.
To save the hostage.
The girl looked up at the now buff male in front of her. The light from her hand started to fade as the well-built hero started to fully form. She smiled and removed her hand from the blonde before he charged at the villain.
The hero stopped the villain's hand that was about to crush the green-haired boy. She saw how blood seeped through the hero's mouth before he made one of his famous powerful attacks, Detroit Smash, and successfully removed the hostage from the villain's grasp.
The wind pressure from the attack was so strong that everyone had to cover their eyes and look away, trying not to get flown away by the wind. The wind pressure was so strong that it created a tornado, following clouds that produced rain. Everyone was stunned as rain droplets fell.
She wanted to enter the scene and help the two boys but she knew it was best not to. The other heroes and the police already had it covered anyway, so she stayed back and watch everything unfold, from how they capacitated the villain to how the crowd cheered. The hero's unsteadiness didn't go unnoticed by her but she knew he could handle it a bit more.
Reporters surrounded the hero as the others scolded the green haired boy. A small smile was present on the girl's face as she watched the boy and reminisce how his feet automatically moved when he made eye contact with the hostage. She figured out that they knew each other and were probably classmates, basing on the same uniforms they wore.
Her eyes went to the hostage, an ash blonde boy with crimson eyes who seemed to be angry all the time. He was being praised for his bravery and continuous attempts to escape the villain despite being at a disadvantage. But, the expression the boy had was full of disappointment as he stared on the ground, not minding the people around him.
Both boys left the scene after being checked by the medical team that came a few minutes later. She watched both of them leave while the hero she was with was being devoured by reporters, answering all their questions.
She took a glance at her phone and checked the time before walking up to the blonde hero. She tapped his back and once he turned to face her, she shoved the phone to his face to point out the time. The hero laughed at her action before he excused himself from the reporters and walked away from the crowd with the girl trailing behind him. The cheers of praise and thanks didn't stop as they walked away.
"You knew, didn't you?"
"Hmm?" The girl asked, pretending to not know what the blonde meant, "The green-haired boy, you knew he would do that didn't you? That's why you transferred portion of your energy to me, right?"
The girl wasn't shock about him finding out, it was expected. They again walked to a nearby neighborhood, the sun starting to set. She didn't answer his question but the blonde already knew the answer to this so they both stayed silent.
Unexpectedly, both their eyes caught a glimpse of the same green haired boy, making the blonde rushed in front of him, surprising the young man. The boy frantically panicked while the hero was flexing himself, before he turned into his original form again in an instant, blood seeping from his mouth. The girl, who stayed back and stood where she could watch them without being seen, placed her palm on her forehead as she watched the hero being an idiot.
I swear this guy...
She watched the hero talked to the boy, saying words that made the boy get down on his knees as tears streamed down his face. The blonde continued to explain his offer to the boy, to inherit the hero's power and be it's new holder.
The girl noticed how the boy muttered his own questions that were from his own curiosity. He seems to be a smart guy, conjuring such theories and questions.
The girl suddenly smiled upon hearing the boy's answer to the hero's offer. He accepted it. The hero slightly glance to her direction, making her shrug. He again looked at the young boy in front of him, instructing him about when their training starts before he walked to where the girl was leaning on the wall.
As the hero stood in front of her, she fixed herself up, and stared at the now dumbfounded boy who seemed to be processing everything that was happening. The two made eye contact, making her give him a small smile that gave the boy a weird feeling inside his stomach.
The two walked away from the boy, leaving him to process everything.
"So?"
The girl glanced up at the blonde, "So...?" She trailed, pretending to not know what he was talking about once again, "What do you think?"
"About the boy?" She asked. The blonde hummed before she answered once again, "He's quirkless, right? You obviously crushed his spirit back at the rooftop and that made all the light in his eyes fade. But..."
The girl looked up and stared at the setting sun as they walked, "Despite being looked down at, he has the determination of a hero, the heart of a hero, the heart that vows to protect and save the weak. He has the potential of being one if he really puts his mind into it."
