I have been going for the bulldogs for as long as I can remember, my family tree was full of die hard supporters, and today was a big day. it was semi finals and we were playing Richmond at the MCG, the game started at 3.25 pm but I was going to get there at about 2.30 to watch them warm up and train. I had a shower and got changed into literal head to toe doggies gear. I took the train there and sat on level 1 and I got a gold spot right out the gates where the boys would run out. I waited for them for 20 minutes and I was just scrolling though tik Tok until I saw them coming out and I got a high five from all of the boys and then there he was, Bailey the boy I promised my friends I wasn't going to say was hot or that I was in love with so I could be the basic Melbourne Girl saying they "love footy so much" but no, that wasn't me until this moment. he came up to me as I leant over the barrier. "big supporter I see" Bailey said in a tone that I couldn't resist. the rest of his team had run out already and I could see he wanted to go and well, he actually kinda needed to go at this point. "yep" I said, he said "are you sitting here all match?" I said yes, even though I was planning on meeting my dad in the bar later on I thought as baz ran out onto the feild, doing side steps to catch up.
like 2 hours past and they were finished and the dogs song was playing, Bailey player such a good game and I couldn't take my eyes off him the entire time. adrenaline was pumping through me as they had just won! they did it! I got my phone out quickly to take a photo of the boys lifting Bailey up into the air on their shoulders to find he was literally staring right at me. I blushed a little and figured that he was looking at someone else. I started to walk out of the seats and I saw my dad calling on my screen, I went to pick it up until I heard someone yelling and a girl tapped me on the shoulder and said one of the players was pointing and calling to me, in literal disbelief I turned around laughing because I thought that it was a joke but Bailey was leaning over the barrier calling to me, so I ran down and said "oh my god why the performance" he laughed a little and said "I couldn't keep my eyes off you when I was playing" I literally laughed and said "yeah, sure." "can I get a name?" baz said. "I'm y/n" he smiled and said "well y/n it was lovely meeting you and id love to see you after the game, meet me in front of the level 2 stairs in 15 minutes he said running away and handshaking his coach. so thats what I did, and baz took me downstairs to his locker room and that was the start of our now 6 month relationship.
