Last night for Zeara was rough. She could hardly sleep because her mind was racing then everytime she would doze off Xila would cry
So she ended up sleeping in the chair in Xilas room dozing off to sleep at 5am. Zeara was finally getting a peaceful sleep......until she woke up to little Xila crying
She knew straight away her daughter was hungry so she picked up her phone and checked the time while one hand rubbed her still sleepy eyes, then saw it already 10:30am
Groaning she stood up from the chair then walked to the kitchen to make Xila's bottle
When she walked into the kitchen she saw Tyler already up with a bottle on the counter and him making breakfast. She smiled small but gratefully before Tyler spoke sarcastically
"Hey, rough night?"
She jokingly rolled her eyes and shaking her head before slightly scoffing and replying.
"Haha very funny. And by the way thanks for all the help during the night. I hardly got any sleep while you had peaceful night."
He laughed then hugged her while smiling
"I know and I thought this was the least I could do."
"Thank you, really." The girl then pulled out of the hug and grabbed the bottle for Xila

Still kinda tired Zeara walked into her daughters room to hear her instantly stop crying when see saw mom
Picking her baby up she laid her in her lap while she sat down on a rocking chair and began lightly rocking the chair back and forth
When Zeara put the bottle in Xilas mouth, she latched on and started drinking rapidly. The tiny baby must've been really hungry because she was drinking that milk like it was her last
Zeara softly rubbed Xila's small little feet while quietly talking to her
"My little baby. You're quite hungry aren't you." She laughed lightly because she had already finished drinking her bottle
Putting her back into her crib and walked back to the kitchen to eat with Tyler

"Wow who knew Tyler Lockwood could be such a great cook." Zeara said smiling
"Yeah I'm a great cook, as we can see."
They laughed while putting the plates and silverware in the sink. She sat them in the sink then walked off only to be pulled into a hug from behind
"Um you have to help with dishes" Tyler said laughing
Giving her boyfriend a look Zeara replied back with a hint of sass in her voice "Uh no, because I was up all night trying to sooth our daughter to sleep while you slept"
"So you can do the dishes and change Xila's diaper while I go shower."
The male was shocked and didn't expect that "Wha-"
Yes. Oh, look who's crying. Guess she needs who diaper changed. Better get going." She said cutting him off and speaking playfully
"Now I have to go take a shower, have fun changing her diaper." the girl said before quickly kissing him and fastly skipped off before he could say anything to even protest back

Zeara got out of the shower, did her makeup and hair then put on her clothes
Getting out of the bathroom she checked time on her phone and saw it was 11:30
She walked to the living room and saw Tyler holding Xila and her laughing because of the toy dangling over her face
The girl sat on the couch and kissed Tyler on the cheek then asked if he and Xila wanted to go for a walk. He said yes and Xila just giggled so she took that as a yes
Once they were ready they headed out the door and walked to the park
After they got done strolling around at the park it was around lunch time so they decided to head over to the grill
After the couple sat down with there kid, and ordered some food Zeara and Tyler started talking when her phone rang with the contact "Dumb Blonde" on the screen
She knew it was Caroline because she called Caroline dumb blonde, and Caroline called Zeara stupid witch
This was their humor and their friendship
This wasn't the first time Caroline called, I mean when they were gone she called I don't know maybe a trillion times, but right now was going to be the first time she answered
Zeara looked at Tyler anxiously with slightly wide eyes he nodded trying to tell me to answer it, so hesitantly she hit accpect and put the phone up to her ear
"Hey Car-" She was cut off by a chirpy Caroline speaking in a frantic yet excited tone
"Zeara I just drove past your house on my way to the grill and saw a car sitting in your drive way. Wait....................................in the past 9 months I've called I don't know maybe a trillion times and this is the first time you've answered." She said knowing that this was suspicious
"Yeah actua-" The girl tried speaking only to be cut off again by Caroline
"And now that I think about it that looked a lot like your car. Why is your car-" this time Caroline cut herself off with a dramatic gasp of realization, she then began going on a whole rant of questions and halfway answering her own questions
"OMG ARE YOU BACK!? Wait if your back that means Tyler's back. Right, is he back. How come after nine months you're finally back? Does anyone else know? AM I THE FIRST PERSON TO KNOW YOU'RE BACK, AHH YAY I AM!!"
"Woah Care slow you're roll. Yes me and Tyler are both back, Yes you're the only one who knows right now, and we came back because we heard a hybrid or something was coming to town." Zeara spoke calmly as Caroline was freaking out
The teen slightly laughed as her best friend was going crazy and continued "We'll answer more questions later but first come to the grill because Tyler and I want you to meet someone."
Not even waiting a second to respond the blonde replied back cheerfully "Yeah of course!! I'm like 7 minutes away but I make it there in like two if I speed. I mean my mom is the sheriff so she won't arrest me, and this town is dead so there's never any traffic anyways. Ok bye see you!!"
Zeara ended the call and waited for her
Sure enough exactly two minutes later the blonde walked through the doors and rushed over to their table
Giving Zeara a big hug Caroline smiled before looking over her shoulder and seeing a baby sleeping in a car seat
Immediately she diverted her attention to the baby and became so excited and happy
"Ahh who is this cute little baby" it sounded and looked like she had baby fever because she was practically gawking over Xila
"Well Care, that's actually what we wanted to-" Zeara was once again cut off by Caroline but this time she gasped or I guess you could call it squealing
"O-M-G!!! WAIT ARE YOU ABOUT TO SAY WHAT I THINK YOU ARE?!?!?! IS THIS- DID YOU- IS SHE- WERE YOU-"
She could absolutely not contain her excitement. If really was she thought it was she was so happy for her friends
But not everyone appreciated her extreme level of excitement
"Uh Caroline please sit and stop shrieking. People are starting to stare
and I don't want her to wake up." Tyler said not wanting people to stare and his daughter to start crying
"Soooo she is-" Caroline gave the couple a side eye and pressed more on the matter
Zeara muttered under her breath as Caroline sat down next to Tyler and across from her and Xila

After explaining everything to Caroline she looked happy for her bestfriend and Tyler but Zeara could sense something was up
"Care I know something's wrong. You may call me dumb witch but I know when somethings bothering you." Zeara was concerned because when Carolines in pain or sad she puts on the biggest smile in which Zeara is the only one who can tell that it's fake
"No I'm fine real-" This time Caroline was cut off by Zeara, and as you can see they do that a lot
"Caroline Forbes, I know something is wrong so don't even try to lie to me! Oh and lose the fake big smile, it's really starting to creep me out." Once Zeara said that she slouched over and relaxed her face before sighing and replying and speaking really fast
It was like her words were all jumbled together
"It'sjustvampirescan'tprocreate" The blonde slouched her shoulders and sighed loudly
Now Zeara knows this but why is she upset about that, then it hit her "Wait.............who?"
"What do you mean "who"?"
"Care, I mean who turned you?" Zeara loves Caroline but sometimes she makes Zeara want to smack the blonde in the back of the head
Once the girl caught on to what her bestie was saying she answered. But a little sadly "Ohhhhh. Katherine"
Right away Zeara's face dropped a little in sadness. She always thought that Katherine had been nice to her, and her friends too
But apparently not, so she grabbed her friends hand and spoke with a soft smile "Care, I'm really sorry. I know how much you wanted kids later on. I'm also very sorry I wasn't here to help you with your transition, I should've been there to help you."
She truly felt really bad. Especially because Caroline has been there for Zeara with literally everything. Right when she got her too
"But just know that you can babysit and come over to help with Xila anytime you want. I mean you are her godmother and practically her aunt!"
Caroline sat straight up and looked at her best friend and Tyler with glee in her eyes
"Seriously!!" She said while smiling before Tyler spoke
"Yeah I mean you and Zeara are practically never apart, and we decided together that you should be her godmother." He said while smiling

Once they were done eating and catching up they all left the grill and walked to Zeara and Tyler's house. By the time they got home it was 3:30 and time for Xila to nap
Tyler put Xila down for her nap then walked into the living room where Zeara and Care were
They talked until it was the beginning of sundown, and the teen witch made Alfredo shrimp lemon pasta for dinner while Tyler fed their daughter
The witch and Caroline cleaned up while Tyler got popcorn and candy for him and the two teenage girls to watch a movie
They watched a movie on and when the movie finished it was 9:30, which meant it was about time for Caroline to go
So they cleaned up and the blonde walked over to the front door
Hugging her friend Zeara smiled big"Care thanks for coming over and hanging out with us. Oh also tell mama Forbes I said hi and we'll be over tomorrow!"
"Ok I will! Bye Z" The girl waved before vamp speeding off
Once Caroline left Zeara and Tyler went back on the couch and watched a tv show
Before they knew it, it was midnight . They were dozing off so decided to go to bed

Her and Tyler brushed their teeth then laid down closing their eyes and relaxing off to sleep
Well relaxing off to sleep until Zeara heard a high-pitched wail. And let me tell you, she was not very happy
Yes she loves her daughter, but she he was not staying up all night again
So she turned over to tell Tyler it was his night to be sleep deprived but of course this man is sleeping
She whacked him in the head and he jolted around to face her groaning and holding his head
"Uh no don't give me that look. I am not doing this again tonight so get your lazy butt up and go soothe her. I dealt with this last night so now it's your turn to be sleep deprived. Go" She shooed him to get out and go try to calm Xila down
Finally she could just relax. Motherhood was hard and especially as a teen. She still has to graduate and tell everyone that she's back, but for now
She needs sleep. A few moments after he left she fell into a peaceful sleep

This chapter was just them catching up with Caroline because I love her
Also a character that died in season one in the show, is still going to be alive in here
