𝐄lla stared at her phone debating with herself. Should I? she kept repeating. After a good 5 minutes, she finally sent the message.

Ella sighed and got up from her bed knowing there wasn't no going back. If she wanted to do this, she had to do it now.
She went to her bathroom and took a quick shower, before she brushed her teeth and washed her face.
She got dressed in a white laced up shirt and blue basic jeans that she styled with a diamond chain and white 4's.
She sprayed herself with perfume, before she grabbed her phone and went down the stairs meeting her grandmother.
" Hey maw" she embraced her in a hug
" Hey baby, where you going? you pretty" she complimented
" Thank you" she smiled " And i'm going with Jaymari" she answered
" Ahh! y'all finally back together? i been waiting for this!" she exclaimed as she clapped her hands
" No maw we just friends" she shook her head " I know i love him, but i don't know what to do" she sighed as she looked down at her feet.

" But that's the problem maw, i don't know what to do!" she sighed

" But how do i choose?" she asked
" That, i can't tell you. You will know once the moment come" she said "But one last thing, don't let your head ruin your plans baby"
Ella listened to her grandmother's advice closely and nodded her head.
" You think with your head, but love with your heart. Think about that" she finished before leaving.
Just as Ella was about to call her grandmother back for more explanations, horns could be heard from outside. She sighed and grabbed her phone before making her way out the front door.

She spotted Jaymari's black challenger in front of the house and hopped in the passenger seat.
" Hi" she greeted him as she put on her seatbelt—Jaymari always had a habit of driving very fast, so she always had to put her seatbelt on with him.
" Wassup ma" he greeted her back before staring up the car.
" Where we goin'?" Ella asked as he pulled off
" Somewhere we could talk peacefully" he shrugged as he turned the music up.
Ella sighed and nodded.

" Jaymari really? a parking lot? that's what you call peaceful" she smacked her lips
" Girl, it's literally raining outside. Whea' tha' fuck you wanna go?" he looked at her like she was dumb
" Oh shit my bad" she covered her mouth as she laughed
" Still not paying attention to your surroundings i see" he chuckled reminiscing.
" But what you wanted to talked about?" he asked leaning back in his seat.
At this precise moment, Ella knew there wasn't no going back and she had to choose. Her heart of her head? It was a really tough decision, her head was telling her not to make a move and go back home, because if it didn't work out the first time why it would now? But her heart was telling her to go for it, to for once think with her heart instead of her head.
Jaymari was Ella's soulmate and she didn't even know. They just separated to get back and form one.
" I love you" she blurted out " I love you Jaymari and i always will. I wanna try again, i know we got so much more coming for us and i want to be here with you to experience those things. I don't wanna leave you no mo'. I want to be with you" she ranted

Jaymari caught on and licked his lips intentionally. He grabbed Ella by her neck and brought her to him. He caught her lips in a big passionate kiss that felt like heaven for the both of them.
" Please don't leave me no mo'." he pleaded as he broke the kiss

" Wait what!" he pulled away " Ella yo' whole life is up north. You can't just leave like that" he sighed
" Watch me" she side eyed him " But there's nothing for me up north but my bestfriend and cousin. The hair store i worked at really wasn't for me, and i'm tryna open my own. And i know i got enough recognition to do it here" she explained

Ella sighed and took it from him. She went to her call log and pressed Kafeyah's contact knowing that she was with Zymeir.
It rung three time before Kafeyah answered the FaceTime call.
" Hi mama" Ella greeted her
" Hi my love" Kafeyah smiled as she greeted her,
" Who the fuck you callin' my love?" Zymeir asked as he put his head in the camera " Oh it's just her. Wassam bug" he greeted her
" Hi bookie" she laughed " But i got sum important news to tell y'all" she cleared her throat
" Wait when you say y'all, you mean the both of us?" Zymeir asked pointing to himself and Kafeyah
" Papa ain't that what she just said" Kafeyah looked at him like he was dumb
" Don't even do that" he cut his eyes at her " Anyways continue"
" So um- how i can put this" she played with her fingers " I'm movin' back down south" she closed her eyes tightly

" I'm movin' back down south" she sighed as she looked at their sad faces.
" So you just gon leave us like that. And you only telling us now?" Kafeyah asked surprised
" I'm sorry mama. I just-i just ain't think about you on that one i was thinking about me and me only. I know it's selfish" she frowned
" No it's okay" she shook her head " If that's what you wanna do, then i 100% support you" she weakly smiled
" No it's not give me tha' fuckin' phone" Zymeir snatched the phone from Kafeyah " Who car you in? and with who? cause ya' stupid ass ain't got no damn car" he mugged her
" I'm with Jaymari bookie" she laughed as she put the camera on him
" Oh damn. Jaymari my nigga i ain't seen nor heard from you in a hot min!" he exclaimed
" Yea i know, my bad bout that brotha" he put his hands up
" Nah you coo. Just treat my cousin right aight?"
" You got my word" he nodded
" Anyways, we finna go you just interrupted our daily nap like damn, can't even sleep in peace no mo'." he shook his head
" My bad, my bad" she laughed " But i'll talk to y'all later" she waved
" Aight, love you!" they both said before hanging up
" See if wasn't that bad" he said
" You right" she sighed
" Talk ta' me, i know you upset" Zymeir sighed as he went to sit next to Kafeyah.
" I just-i just wished she talked about this earlier" she sighed " I know she wasn't happy here and that she has plenty more opportunities down south. But how i'm supposed to live without my bestfriend here with me?" she sighed—Kafeyah felt like everybody was leaving her just like her brother.
" You can't talk like that ma, she's not leaving you. She's just hopping and searching for new opportunities. She'll never leave you on purpose and you know that" he preached
" I know" she sighed " I feel so selfish now. She just wanna elevate and i feel like i'm stopping her" she frowned
" You not selfish mama, you just reacted that way because you miss her and it's okay. Don't beat yourself up about it aight?"
" Alright" she nodded, " Your teeth still itch?" she asked changing the subject
" Yea" he sighed
" Cmon" she grabbed his hand as they stood up from the couch.
" Whea' we goin'?" he asked confused
" We going to buy straws, plus i need a few stuff for my bathroom" she said as she went to her room to change.
" Aight" he nodded " I'm going home to grab sum stuff, i'll pick you up in 20" he yawned
" You really have to leave me?" she pouted as she sighed
" I'm just down the street princess" he pulled her in a hug " I'll be quick i promise" he kissed her forehead
" Pinky promise" she extended her pinky
" Pinky promise" he interlocked their pinky together before they both kissed it.
" Okay now go so you can come back quicker" she pushed him out the door
Zymeir laughed and shook his head as he stepped out the front door. He pecked her lips three times and left.
Once he was out her building, he got in his car and began driving to his house with a lot on his mind.
He thought about the conversation he had yesterday with Kafeyah and really let her words sink in. He knew that he should've put his homeboys out sooner but he couldn't bring himself to do it. And still can't.
As he reached his house, he saw people coming in and out his front door making his blood boil.
" Oh hell nah" he parked his car before getting out and slamming the door.
He opened his front door and saw his homeboys snorting lines of coke and girls everywhere.
" EVERYBODY GET THE FUCK OUT NOW!" he yelled catching everybody's attention
The girls saw his angry face and quickly left, meaning that Rantz and Dom were the only one left in the room.
Zymeir looked at them up and down and chuckled bitterly " You know what? get out my damn house. Get y'all broke asses out! NOW!" he yelled the last part
" Zymeir bro you-you can't-cant do that" Rantz slurred over his own words
" Watch me bitch! get y'all stuff and get the fuck out" he said trough gritted teeth
" Mane you trippin'." Dom shook his head as he went upstairs to grab his stuff—Rantz soon followed after and now only Zymeir was left in the living room.
What did i do wrong? he questioned
He didn't understand what he did wrong for his "homeboys" to act this way toward him. He provided for them when he could've walked away. He gave them a roof to live under, fed them, gave them money, even tried to hook them up at his shop...and the list goes on
But he couldn't understand why they couldn't behave correctly in return. After everything he did for them that's the least they could do right?
Zymeir had a big heart and sadly they took it for granted.
That's what i get for being too nice, he mentally slapped himself
Soon enough Rantz and Dom jogged down the stairs with two bags in each hand.
" Hope you rot in hell bitch" Dom spat before they left the door
" You one homeless and jobless ass nigga youn' got no fuckin' room ta' talk!" he exclaimed before closing the door
" Now i gotta clean all this shit" Zymeir sighed looking around at his living room.
