3rd Person's POV
Time Skip after Dinner, Agasa's Residence
After eating their dinner together, Hattori offered Agasa for his help to wash the dishes to which He agreed Hattori's offer
On the other hand, Haibara went back to her room to do something to take care of it for spending all night
Meanwhile, Conan who was sitting down on the sofa for his rest as He suddenly remembered what Kaito had something to talk with him as promised
Conan searched for his secret crush but he's not here around Living Room and went to ask Hattori about the whereabouts of his crush and He said that He saw Kaito heading to the rooftop as Conan thanked Hattori for telling him about the whereabouts
On the Rooftop with Kaito
As soon as The shrunken detective left the living room to head to the rooftop where Kaito was waiting for him and He opened the door from the rooftop to see the thief who was sitting down while waiting patiently for him made the detective sighed as relief and smiled at the thief
The thief noticed his beloved Tantei-kun's presence and The detective joined to sit down next to him and He asked Kaito about something to talk just like this morning as Kaito nodded as response
In Kaito's cue, He looked a beautiful dark sky along with many stars made him smiling at it
"I wonder if Shin-chan remembered my first confession when we're kids after Dad's death" The thief thought deeply himself while looking at the sky
He was ready to confess with Tantei-kun for his true feeling but He was very nervous to ask him
"What if He will accept or reject my feeling for him.. He's all mine in my heart" The thief thought again about Shinichi
"Kai-chan!" The thief's mind was interrupted by Tantei-kun who was showing his worried face
"Sorry Shin-chan, I guess that I spaced out a bit" The thief said while scratching his hair
"Oh okay.." The shrunken detective replied while amusing himself
In Shinichi's cue, He was very worried upon seeing his crush Kaito who was spaced out by thinking something and decided not to push him by asking him
They both remained silent for about few minutes and The thief finally broke his silence off to speak up with him
"S-Shin-chan, I-I have something that I need to tell you" The thief suddenly asked him
The shrunken detective was confused a little at his words but remain silent while continuing to listen him what The thief said to him
"Oh sure.. Kai-chan, Tell me" The detective replied back while smiling at him
"I-I L-Like You" The thief finally confessed his true feeling to Shinichi causing his mind went all blank and his eyes widened open
In Shinichi's cue, After Kaito said that he like me causing his mind went all blank but He don't get it why Kaito confessed him depsite having his girlfriend Aoko-chan in his side
"W-Wait a minute, But why do you like me depsite having your girlfriend Aoko-chan?" The detective asked calmly
"Actually, Few weeks ago, Aoko discovered that I used to be Kid and She quickly dumped me over my secret identity as Kid that's why I felt hurt badly for her and I decided not to talk with her anymore until Aoko decided to go back with me as his girlfriend but I turned her down and told her to remain as good friends but now, I already told her that I'll make her happy with another man and I decided to move on" The thief explained carefully to him made him feeling pity on the thief
"I'm sorry.. Kai-chan, I understand how you feel but seriously why do you like me?" The detective asked again
"Listen to me, Shin-chan, I'm serious to tell you that the reason why I like you before" The thief replied causing him speechless
"Kai-chan..." The detective mumbled in a low voice
"Please listen to me.. Shin-chan" The thief convinced him to listen carefully to which Shinichi nodded as response
"To tell you the truth, 8 years ago, After Dad's death, I liked you because you were the one who did everything to me such as reading book together with you, play any games with you, cuddling and more" The thief finally admitted to him to which made him triggered his thought as realization
The detective finally realized and start to remember about the past why the thief liked him since 8 years ago
Shinichi's POV (Little)
*Flashback from 8 Years Ago*
Before Uncle Toichi's death, I recalled that He first took his son to visit my house in Beika with his wife for his job in order to mentor my mother for disguise skills but there's another reason of Uncle Toichi's wife named Chikage was to see her best friend Yukiko (my mother) who frequently talked her about something like that
As soon as They finally showed up in my mansion then My parents welcomed them to come in as I caught an attention to a boy then I assumed that the boy was the son of Uncle Toichi
They introduced his son named Kuroba Kaito to us as I secretly looked his beautiful eyes while smiling at him
"Wow! He's very handsome so I hope that I can befriend with him and spend more time with him" I thought myself while looking at him
After eating lunch with them, I left them to head into the library room to search novel which Kaito may be enjoy to read it then I caught an attention to a popular novel book named Arséne Lupin and took it while seeing it
"I hope that he'd be enjoy for reading this" I muttered myself while looking at it
As soon as I dragged my Dad into the library to ask him for borrowing Arséne Lupin (Novel) as He didn't mind at me because he said that he didn't use to read it that's why he didn't have time to read it since he started working as author/novelist so He told me to give it for Kaito as an early gift
As I searched Kaito around the house and later found him who was sitting alone on the sofa in the living room as I slowly approached him to make him notice my presence
"Hey, you must be Kuroba Kaito-kun, right?" I said normally while smiling at him as He nodded as response
"Yes, I am.. and What's your name?" Kaito asked me
"I'm Kudo Shinichi, Nice to meet you!" I answered politely while bowing slightly
"Oh! Nice to meet you too, Kudo-kun" Kaito said while bowing simply
"Hey, Is it okay for me to be friend with you?" I asked calmly while smiling at him
"Yes, Of course.. you can, Kudo-kun" He replied happily while smiling beautifully at me
"Wow! I like his beautiful smile" I thought while staring at him
"Well, You can call me as Shinichi, if you want?" I said while scratching my hair
"Really!" Kaito replied back as I nodded as response
"S-Shinichi, I didn't mind at you because you were the one to call me as Kaito just two of us only" Kaito told shyly as I was very happy to hear Kaito's words then I nodded as agreement
"Oh yeah! There's something that I'd like to show you" I said while showing Arséne Lupin Novel to him made him widened his eyes open as I handed it to Kaito
"R-Really!! I like that novel and Where did you get it?" Kaito mumbled happily while seeing at it
"It's from the library where there's many books which Dad bought many books from different countries" I replied back
"S-Shinichi, Is it okay for me to borrow your novel for a while so that I can read it?" Kaito asked
"It's alright! But you can keep it if you like and This is an early gift for you from Dad" I said
"Ah.. T-Thanks Shinichi!!" Kaito replied as he hugged me for the first time made me surprised so I can't help but smile at him
As soon as We were interrupted by My parents and Kaito's parents who suddenly showed up while smirking oddly at us upon seeing our embarrassing hug
"Wow! Shin-chan, I'm very glad that you quickly befriended with Kaito-kun" It was my mother who said cheerfully made me blushing madly as I caught Dad who smirked at me same goes for Uncle Toichi and Aunt Chikage
After I befriended with Kaito, I dragged him to go out for play outside together then We came back home a bit late and We told them to say sorry about our clothes being dirty but they said it's okay and they were happy to see us being a very good bestfriend like a brother That's why I was very happy to keep him company
After our improving relationship with him as bestfriend, We agreed to use our favorite nickname like Kai-chan and Shin-chan when alone in private and sometimes in public, Kaito began visiting my house just to see me as my favorite regular visitor and of course bestfriend. We read our personal favorite book together, talk frequently, eat together, hang out for special occasions, play outside games, take a bath together, and cuddling together when sleep time
But one day, My parents and I learned a shocking news that Uncle Toichi was killed in a tragic incident as Aunt Chikage and Kaito were both crying upon learning a shocking news from Megure-keibu from Violent Crime Division 1 of Tokyo Police HQ whom Dad used to work with him before
After the funeral of Uncle Toichi, I tried to cheer him up but It didn't work it out since Kaito refused to go out with me like usual daily routine as bestfriend but one night, Kaito came to my room and wanted to cuddle one more with me then I agreed Kaito's request since he's my bestfriend so I can't refuse his request as I heard Kaito was sobbing more then I was there to comfort him by hugging him for calming down from crying
Next that day after Uncle Toichi's funeral, Kaito came to visit my house to talk with me for a while which made me very happy as We headed to my own room then Kaito went to sit down on the bed and He finally broke his silence
"Hey Shin-chan, T-There's something that I have to tell you before moving out a far away from Beika" Kaito finally spoke to say while smiling sadly made me confused and amused myself
"What's it? Kai-chan.." I replied nervously as Kaito held my hand while smiling at me
"I like you" Kaito said in a confession made me widened my eyes in a shock
My mind went all blank as I said "I'm sorry" to Kaito without thinking and I remembered that I left him and went to the restroom as I calmed down for a while and I was ready excitedly to answer back of Kaito's confession then I returned back from the restroom and I later found out that Kaito had disappeared after saying "I'm Sorry" then he left my house shortly without bid his goodbye to me
I felt guilty and very painful hurt over Kaito who left my house without saying a word and then Aunt Chikage and Kaito finally moved out somewhere
After few weeks later, I furiously demanded my mother to call Aunt Chikage to speak with Kaito for a while but She said that She lost contact with her upon learning that Aunt Chikage's contact number was changed recently since they both moved out somewhere and My parents had no idea about their whereabouts and even contact
I was starting to lose my thought and I decided to go out for a while as I was about to leave my house then I caught my attention to a mail box and I was curious on the mail box as I opened the mail box to see a letter then I got it to see the letter was addressed to me
I went back to my room and opened to see a written letter that was from Kaito as I was curious to read it while looking at his written words
Dear Shin-chan,
"I'm sorry for leaving you abruptly because My mom said I didn't have time to say a goodbye for you because we moved out a far away from you so I know you didn't respond my confession then It's fine and If you're ready to confess me then I'll wait to hear from you for my confession"

The letter gave me a very painful in my chest since It was too late for me to confess back to Kaito
"Baka Baka Baka Baka Kai-chan! You could atleast tell me where to move out and I should go there to visit you and answer in return of your confession" I mumbled terribly while crying more
3rd Person's POV
*At the End of Flashback from 8 Years Ago*
Back to Present Time, On the Rooftop with Kaito
After The shrunken detective remembered those flashbacks from 8 years ago, He felt crying more in front of the thief
"I remembered that you confessed me that you like me from 8 years ago" The detective finally spoke up to say him while sobbing himself
"Y-Yeah, And I'm here to lis-" The thief was about to interrupt by the shrunken detective
"Baka Baka Baka! I like you too Kai-chan." The detective finally answered back in a loud voice to Kaito's past confession made the thief smiling at him
As The thief wiped out his tear from Shinichi's face and then He hugged the detective for comforting
"Finally... I've been waiting to hear it from you, Shin-chan" The thief whispered into the detective's ear
Few minutes later, The detective finally calmed down from crying and then The thief finally broke his silence to speak up
"Hey Shin-chan, Will you be my boyfriend for now?" The thief asked him while holding the detective's hands
"Yes of course.. Baka Kai-chan!" The detective nodded as agreement
"Yehey! I love you Shin-chan!" The thief said happily
"I love you too Kai-chan!" The detective finally replied
*Warning: Kissing Scene*
The thief held his hand to Shinichi's face as He slowly closed his eyes to kiss Shinichi's lips then The detective slowly wrapped his arms around the thief's neck then the detective kissed back to the thief's lips in return
This would be their first kiss, They were both very happy to receive their first kiss and hugged each other as The thief asked him to kiss more again as The detective nodded as agreement
They were about to kiss again but They were interrupted by Heiji Hattori who was formed into "o" mouth upon seeing them for another kissing scene causing him a shocked face
"Ahhh! I'm sorry and I have to go back to sleep! Take your time" Hattori yelled as he closed the door and sighed as a relief
In Hattori's cue, "That was a close call! Why didn't Kudo tell me about him?" He thought angrily
"Don't tell me that they are officially lovers? Judging on their actions, I assumed that they kissed each other on their lips. Oh God! What the heck didn't Kudo tell me about this" Hattori thought while deducing about their odd action
Meanwhile on the other hand, Kaito and Shinichi were surprised to see Hattori's sudden appearance as they were almost exposed for almost kissing by him
"Hey Shin-chan, What should we do?"
"Well, Just ignore that crap idiot detective and Let's do it again if you want, Kai-chan"
As the thief nodded as response and they kissed more and more until they both licked their tongue while kissing

*Bonus Chapter with Heiji and Haibara*
After Hattori accidentally opened to see Kudo and Kid almost kissing causing him a shocked face
He went to Haibara's room to storm into her causing her a shocked face on him
"What's wrong with you? Hattori-kun" Haibara asked while blinking her eyes
"W-Well, you see.." Hattori replied
Hattori explained everything about what happened to Kudo and Kaito over almost kissing incident
"Hahahahahahaha... I knew it" Haibara laughed made him a confused face
"H-Hey, What's so funny? Thinking you didn't believe me about them?" Hattori said while dismaying at her laughing
"Ah no! Before you come, Kudo revealed that he liked Kid too" Haibara replied causing him a surprise face
"Ah well, It's my first time to hear you about them" Hattori said while blinking his eyes
"Don't worry about them, I've known them that they are now officially lovers" Haibara singsongs in a happy face
In Shinichi's cue, He finally sneezed his nose like Achoo making the thief noticed
"Shin-chan, Did you catch a cold?" The thief asked
"Nope, I have a bad feeling that someone's talking to me" The detective replied while shaking his head
"Damn That was evil eyed yawny girl who's talking about me" The detective thought himself while frowning myself

After Kaito and Shinichi made their official lovers, The shrunken detective asked him to explain the reason why he become Kaito Kid after several years hiatus
The thief revealed to explain why he became Kaito Kid including more secrets
The detective was about to say something but He heard his phone ringing just to see it was Ran made him unhappy and He asked the thief to keep quiet for phone call as The thief nodded as understanding then The detective brought his bow-tie voice changer and used it to imitate his adult voice to call Ran
"Hello? What do you want from me?" The detective said in an adult voice while frowning himself
"I'm S-Sorry... Shinichi" It was Ran who replied back
What will happen to Shinichi if he accept Ran's apology? What were they talking about saying sorry?
