The whole mansion woke up to the sound of gunshot. Everyone came outside with their guns ready to fight.
"Kya ho raha hai ye sab??" Mahi said frustrated........she was enjoying herself. Another gunshot rang breaking the glass of another window.
Siddharth shot a figure he spotted outside while Abhisek went to the tarrace and placed his sniper rifle on the edge and starts taking down the men around the mansion.
A few men broke in the house and the team engaged in hand to hand combat with them. Mahi kicked men backwards and then shot another one.
"Bhai ne sahi kaha tha is mission pe to do minute ja chain nahi hai" She said as she and Ruhi stood back to back.
In midist of fighting nobody payed attention to the gun pointed towards Mahi by a hodded figure.
Everyone turned to Mahi as a gunshot rang in the house and the person ran away. A scream left Shrishti's mouth as Dhruv who had shielded Mahi with his body fell down on the floor....unconcious.
Krish lost his cool and killed the remaning men while the team rushed Dhruv to the nearest hospital.
Krish went behind them with worry and fear rising in his chest. He reached the hospital to only find doctor coming out of the OT.
"Doctor wo..." Shrishti said rushing to him as tears filled her eyes.
"Dekhiye goli patient ke spinal cord ke paas ki nerve par lagi hai jiski wajh se unke pure nervous system ko shock laga aur wo coma mein chale gaye hain.....kabtak hosh mein aayenge kuchh kha nahi jaa sakta" He said and left as Shrishti fell on the chair and broke down.
Krish saw his team fall apart infront of his eyes but instead of crying he buried his pain inside and helped Aaruhi and Zara in supporting the team.
They returned home 7 in the morning without Shrishti. Krish has told her to stay away from the mission now and stay with Dhruv.
"Tu thik hai?" Aryan said keeping a hand on his shoulder and he nodded supressing the emotions which were clawing at his heart wanting a release.
"Haan bhai mein thik hun....sab sogaye haina aap bhi so jaao mujhe chaar ghante mein sab wapis kaam par chaahiye" He said and left as the team who was asleep according to him overheared their leader trying to stay strong for them.
He entered his room and shut the door. He slid down the door as tears rolled down his cheeks. All the memories he has shared with Dhruv came back rushing to his mind.
Dhruv has always been with him...ALWAYS. As long as he remembers he was always the rock in his life. A pillar he leans on when everything becomes too much.
Dhruv was the one who saved him from Kunal countless times, fought for him when he can't.....risked his life just because he loved Krish.
Two hands wrapped around his neck and pulled him in a hug. He knew who it was so let himself melt in the embrace.
"Kyun jaan.....jo mere kareeb hote hain unhe hi hamesha kyun taklif sehni padti.....kyun kabhi mein kisika saath nahi paa sakta is dar ke bina ki use kahin kuchh hona jaae" He said as sobs wrecked through his body.
"Bhagwaan hamesha un logon ko hi takliph dete hain jo unhe seh saken......jinme takat hon us dard se guzar ne ki" She replied rubbing his back.
He cried in his love's arm taking out his emotions completely. Mahi settled him down on the bed as his eyes dropped from all the exhaurtion.
Mahi kissed his forhead softly and got up after covering him with a blanket. She made her way to the temple in the house and sat down infront of a Radhakrishn idol.
"Aap hi ki di hui chunauti ke samne ek baar phir aagaye hum........mein sab kuchh seh lungi bas mujhe mere Krish se mat alag karna please. Alag hue to hum dono hamesha ke liye bikhar jaayenge.....please" She said as tears flowed down her eyes.
With Krish
His eyebrows knitted together in a frown and his hands fisted the bedsheet when a buried memory came back to him in form of a dream.
Two boys, approximately 4 years in age and twins were hiding under a table. Just as one of them was about to let out a sob another one closed his mouth.
"Mein hun na kuchh nahi hoga....bas ro mat warna mumma ko pata chal jaayega" He said and the other nodded in reply.
A hand came and pulled them both out as they screamed. The boys were pulled apart from each other when a guy came to help them and then a gunshot rang and blood got splattered on one of the kids face.
Krish shot up in the sitting position with a scream.
With Mahi
Her head shot up when she heard her love screaming. She rushed to their room to find him sitting on the bed with a layer of sweat on his forehead and wiping off his tears.
"Kya hua Krish?" She asked as her eyes scanned him from head to toe. He nodded his head and got up.
"Kahan jaa rahe ho?" She asked as she followed him outside the room.
"Workout.....neend nahi aane waali mujhe" He replied entering the gym. Mahi huffed at his overworking nature but sat down at a couch placed there.
Krish started working out taking out his anger while Mahi switched on the search for Yuvraj Shergill and then turned to Krish.....enjoying the view.
Her tablet dinged with the notification sound breaking her trance as she took it in her hand to check it.
"Milgaya....."
