The elevator stopped and as soon as the doors opened out ran pepper
She asked around quickly to find out where Tony was
And when she knew she quickly ran to the med bay
"Tony!"
Tony looked at her and quickly got up grabbed her arm and drug her over to you
"She's in shock and I'm not sure what to do"
Pepper watches Tony's face and his eyes
"Bucky take Tony out"
Bucky nods and walks up to Tony
"Don't touch me! I'm fine"
Tony looks back at you with worry behind his eyes
"I'm fine.."
Pepper looks at Tony
"Tony you need to leave"
Tony's eyes start to gloss
His hands start to shake as well
Bucky quickly grabs Tony's arm and drags him out of the room and into a different med bay
Pepper looks at you and gently grabs your hand
"Honey?"
You slowly move your head To look at her
"It's okay"
She smiles at you
Your heart slowed a bit and your face relaxed
"Your okay"
Pepper reached her other hand out and put it over yours cupping your hand
"Why don't we go start you a shower?"
You nod your head and she stands up
"Here let me help you up"
She slowly pulls you off the floor off of Loki
Loki stands up
Using one of his hands to brush his hair back out of his face
"Come one let's let Loki go"
Pepper says as she starts to walk out of the room with you
You widen your eyes and turn your head to Loki
He watches you walk out of the door

You nod your head and walk with pepper

After you shower you put on the clothes that pepper put out for you
And then you go through your drawers to find a hoodie but you can't find one.
So you go across the hall to Loki's room and carefully steal one out of his drawers.
You cautiously leave the room and walk down the hallway
You peek around to see nobody in the Maine area
So you sprint across the living room through the kitchen and to the elevator
"FRIDAY can you please take me to the main entrance"
"Of course miss l/n"
The elevator started to move downwards
Your heart was pounding
"All I want is to get fresh air, as long as I come back everything will be fine, right?"
You were trying to convince yourself you weren't doing something wrong.
The elevator stopped and the doors slowly opened to the entrance of the building you looked around and saw nobody so you quickly ran out the door.
It felt cool outside
You breathed in the fresh air
And then you decided to go for a walk but you told yourself not to go too far.
You started off on your walk staying out of the middle of the busy sidewalk
You were watching everyone's faces making sure you didn't recognize anyone
You walked for a long time

While on the way back to the tower you thought you saw a familiar face
You shrugged it off not wanting to psych yourself out
You kept walking until you heard

You took a few steps back

The mist formed around your hands as best as it could with the limiter cuffs on
And you crouched a bit and launched yourself into the air
You didn't think it would work
A huge smile spread across your face
"I did it"
You flew to a rooftop

Joy filled you and you looked around
It was pitch black outside
"I need to get to the tower"
You looked through the distance and saw the tower quite far away
You traveled across some more rooftops when you got tired
Using as little magic as you had for so long was exhausting
So you landed on the ground to sit down
You sat on the edge of a wall
And you watched the people
Until out of nowhere you heard a gun cock
You turned your head and saw him again
"Tag you're it"
He smiled and started to pull the trigger
You threw your hand up and the gun jammed
Your eyes turned a deep pink and you got up
The mist swirling around your hands
You walked towards him
This was the bravest you have ever been
He lowered the gun so that the crowd wouldn't go off
It was only you and him that knew of the weapon
"I see you've gotten better"
You could see the fear behind his eyes
"Maybe I have"
You blinked to get the pink to fade away
"Maybe you should reconsider coming back to HYDRA"
He asked fear still present in his face
"Reconsider this"
You threw him back about 30 feet and launched yourself off the ground
Laughing you land on a rooftop and do a few more hops over the beautiful city until you are just a few buildings away.
But the exhaustion gets the best of you and you finally land and your knees give in just two buildings away from the tower.
You slowly lay down and close your eyes
And drift off knowing that nobody would notice your absence in the tower and you could slip back in without a turn of their heads..
