Chapter 16 : of greeting and dense giotto
A port the in southern Italy, sicily
'they must be here, I must check on them quickly and report to primo' thought asari while he observe his surrounding searching his target.
Asary currently at a port doing mission of investigating illegal trades within vongola teority, giotto obviously enrage the moment he heard about this. He ordered asari to invesfating it and bring the suspect if he can. Usually these kind of mission he will give to daemon or alaude, but since they still on their own mission he give this to asari.
Despite his nature asari the one who fit to do this, asari able to switch his own persona depending on what situation he is in. G often comment how terrifying asari to be able to do it in his usual carefree nature. His shoothing smile and gentle nature made him harmless while behind that was a beast, a beast with natural hitman talent. Even if he like this giotto accept him as one of his.
Back to present situation, asari found the person he is suspecting as suspect. He watch his every move like a hawck. He look at the luggage the person's carry, he follow the suspect slowly from far yet not far. Asari see the suspect meet someone and glance at each other and their own bags, they seem to walk to change the location to more quite place. Asari follow them and made sure that they don't sense his presence as he slowly approach them, making himself as a part of the crowd. Asari also made sure he don't disturb neither his surrounding or the people around him with relative ease.
As asari come close, he caught a glimpse of something white covering what inside the bags. Asari didn't notice there is a person close in front of him. He bumped into someone, that cause asari and the person to take a few step back. It took a few seconds for the two of them to regain some of their balance so they don't fall back. When asari look at the person he bumped to, the person is a young lady wearing deep blue kimono with some sakura flower pattern. The lady has black colored haired that made into a bun, though her bangs quite messy. When asari want to apologize the lady beat him for it,
"ah! Sumimase!" said the lady
Asari blinked a second before registered the lady in kimono speak Japanese to him,
'a fellow native!' thought asari
"haha, ie, it's fine! Daijobu deska etto..." asari trailed off as he realise he don't know the lady's name.
The lady seems realise what asari want to say, with a bright eyes she cheerfully said, "ah, shiromi, tachibana shiromi, anata wa ?"
her curious eyes seem made asari to silence for a while, ".... Ah, etto... as..asari uegetsu"
shiromi smiled brightly, asari couldn't help but look more at her. He notice how beautiful and clear the woman in front of him. He realized and look away as it's rude to stare at people's eyes, especially someone you just met. Shiromi seems didn't notice this as she took her luggage and smiled at asari,
"it's nice to meet you, asari-san, ah! Ikenai! I have to go now! Matta ne asari-san!" said shiromi looking apologetic as she took off.
"matta ne tachibana-san, okiwotsuke!" said asari in as he wave to shiromi.
'talking to tachibana-san is quite pleasant, hopefully we can meet again some time and talk about japan' thought asari
Shiromi wave back before walk away with her luggage, after that asari look at the spot where the two men currently standing. He see them seem to give each other something,
'ah, it seem they are trading now' thought asari as he look at them.
Asari walk to them to get closer to their location so he can caught them to bring to the HQ to be introgated and finish his mission. Asari never expect to meet his fellow native Japanese here in Italy, it was refresing to him here in Italy. If asari look back he would have seen shiromi wear an odd smile on her face,
"you're vongola's rain guardian, aren't you asari-san ?" whispered shiromi in Italian before disappearing within the crowd.
At vongola mansion
"fratello.... You ..." renata seem to not believe of what she's seeing now.
She look at her brother up and down while processing not only her always scowl elder brother brought home a girl, and it was not illusion (if it's daemon, she may be not shock but it's her brother) but he brought hayato or rather the reincarnation one which happen to be a girl ( like what renata to expect hayato's reincarnation to be a girl).
"I what rena ?" asked G as he furrowed his brow in confusion.
Renata glance at Giotto and cozart only see them look at G in strange look as if he was alien or some fascinating life form that should either be inspected or be avoided. Renata couldn't help but agree with whatever teory they come up, because in normal situation there's no way G would bring back a girl home!
"you brought home a girl!" said renata cheerfully while skipping in front of her brother.
'oh my god! Oh my god! My elder brother! The one who always scowl! That older brother of mine brought home a girl! I know it's hayato but still....~~~' many thoughts swirling inside renata's head.
Giotto blink a few times when renata skipping in front of G and said 'he brought a girl back' again and again before believing that what he's seeing now is true. Before G could said anything he was shoved back by the girl, it was rather harsher, almost like the girl hit G if giotto could comment. The girl then bowed at them or more precisely at renata in perfect ninety degree angle.
'what ?' thought G
'why he was bowing at rena ?' thought giotto blink at what she doing
'eh ?' cozart just gaped at whatever happen now with emma patting his shoulder to snap him out
"..." iris just eating in silence
"rena-sama! My name lavina, I would to thank you for saving my life last time! Please let me serve you!" said lavina as she finish bowing and look up at renata with a sparkling green emerald eyes and sparkly background and illusionary dog ears.
"...." cozart and giotto gaping at this.
'wow, it's been a while since I see hayato like this. Looks like she doing things like this as a show of our first meeting, huh as expected of hayato, but... why do I feel the sparkly background brighter than before ?' thought renata with her head tilt a little. (a/n : you are the one who said, rena =_=")
"what the fuck ?!" shouted G while looking at lavina.
'ah, fratello snap out from his shock' thought renata
It seem G's loud cursing cause everyone except renata and iris to snap out of their own thought
"what the *fucking hell, woman ?!! all you do yesterday was yelling at me !! and now you smilling like *fucking idiot with sparkle!!!" yelled G
'ah, fratello, wrong move' thought renata
"shut up, pinky head!!!" yelled lavina to G
"my hair is not *fucking pink, you *damn woman!!!" yelled G
"umm.. can you two explain ? I am quite confuse here" said giotto with cozart nod at him.
"shut up giotto!! Don't you dare *fucking interve here!!" "shut up blondie!!" the two of them yelled at them same time to giotto which made giotto squirm a little and hide behind cozart and rena.
"don't talk to giotto like that, *fucking woman !!!" said G
"I will talk as I see fit pinky!!" said lavina
The two of them yelled at each other without a care toward their surrounding, eventually iris grew irrirated at them and throw tonfa to G which hit his face until he fell down.
"ouch!! damn*, that *fucking hurt!!" yelled G, he's glaring at iris while iris just glance coldly. As much as G want to yelled at her, her eyes remind him at alaude when he's in bad mood so he wisely not say anything.
'heh.. and here I thought I must freeze them or just tie them in a chair together... *pout... mouuu iris ruin my fun' thought renata
Emma just sweatdrop when she know what her best friend thinking. Renata feel emma look at her, she look at emma too, then she blink with her innoncient eyes that made emma would believe her if not for the aura behind her. To save a tiny part of her sanity emma look away from her friend's seemly innoncient eyes. G and lavina still glaring at each other much to amusent of other people in the room, especially rena. Her eyes glint for a seconds before vanish.
"ehem! As much as I enjoy you made fun of G "oi!" I feel like everyone need explanation here, eto .. lavina-san, right ?" said renata
"yes, I will appreciate if someone can explain to me" said cozart
'seems like he's out of his daze' thought renata
"lavina" said renata
"yes, of course rena-sama!!~~" said lavina, her eyes full of worship to renata.
"okay, woman, explain now" said G
"hmph, why should I explain to idiot like pinky ?" said lavina
"why you-" "fratello stop become sensitive at every single time, you aren't woman in one month" said renata sternly
G blushes at this while lavina snickering at his misery, giotto and the others seems unfazed if not because their shaking shoulders. Lavina straightened her back in habit when she want to explain something.
"rena-sama saved me from being killed by dynamites even if it's risk her life, so as my gratitude for her I decide to follow her!~" said lavina
"you were almost killed by dynamites ?!!" said giotto horrified
"don't look *fucking happy telling that, woman!!!" said G
"shut it, pinky!!" said lavina
"umm.. why 'sama' though ?" asked cozart
"I am quarter Japanese" said lavina
Lavina seems want to talk with rena and others in private, renata know these as she grab lavina hand. She beamed at G,
"I am going to show her around, come on emma" said renata
"okay" said emma as she stand up
Iris already leave earlier, knowing her sky she know her sky want to discuss something. G almost want to open his mouth as to why give lavina tour around, but renata turn her head at him and giotto,
"she can stay here, right giotto ?" asked renata smilling brightly
Giotto blushed at her, "s-sure, go ahead"
'huh ? why he's blushing ? he's blushing a lot lately, is he sick ?' thought renata
Renata was about ask giotto when emma drag her out so she put it at the back of her head. They go out of kitchen. With the girls out of the room the man silent for quite long before cozart open his mouth,
"wait!! We never knew who renata's ex-lover is!!" said cozart
That got another silent from the others, G tried to process what cozart said to him..
'Rena...
Lover...
Rena had a lover....
'
"rena had a lover ?!" yelled G
"... apparently so..." said giotto blankly
At that G couldn't help but look worriedly at giotto, while the others didn't realise it he know how giotto's feeling toward his sister. Especially now giotto didn't acted like normal when he supposed to be the sanest out of their group. He look like a kicked puppy, of course only rena can make him like this.
"are you alright gio ?" asked G
"it's fine .... It's just..." giotto trailed off while looks down at his feet
'is he finally know his feeling ?' thought the two of them
" I still don't understand why I am feeling this way" said giotto gloomy
G facepalmed while he sigh
'how dense he can be !!!' thought G
'giotto!!! How can you idiot when it came to this!!!' thought cozart while looking at the side wall as though it was the most interesting thing to him.
They just don't know how to tell their idiotic best friend....
