Breath thickening, my palms began to sweat as I attempted to answer. What was I supposed to do. What's wrong with me? I'm in love with Frank, I shouldn't be stuttering. But Lu-. No. Frank, It's always been Frank, I love Frank. Still on one knee, his brows were furrowed beneath his uncertain eyes gleaming in the flash light of video phones.
"Yes. I will marry you." I felt my smile begin to widen as Frank shot up and picked me up, embracing me as he spun me round. Cheers and applause echoed throughout the building as Frank slid the ring on my finger. The giant smile on my face was impossible to get rid of. I was so happy. I glanced around to find the blond boy who I thought was about to say something but he was no where.
He must have left when... I slowly felt my blood run cold as I looked down at the diamond ring on my finger and my smile faded to the memories of the time Luke and I had together that I'll never get back. I'll just have to forget about it. Our memories and moments began to rush down my face as I flicked them off.
"You okay babe?" Frank asked
"Yes! Course. I'm just so happy." I lied. Cupping his face i pecked his lips before breathing out "I love you so much."

Two hours until Frank and I had to leave for our flight back to America and I couldn't help but feel a missing gap.
A really big gap.
Throughout the journey to the airport I had listen to Frank talk about business and the people he had to go through. It wasn't that Im not interested in what he does or how it goes.
It's just, I wish we could have a conversation about how we feel about things more often rather than throwing hard cold facts at each other. This flight was gonna be long.
Boarding the plane, Frank and I found our seats in first class and made ourselves comfortable while the flight attendant put away our extra baggage. The plane lifted from the ground and I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces.
With furrowed brows I glance out at the hazy orange sky as pictures of the time I had here flashed all at once. I'm going to miss this place. And that tall blond dork.
I'm gonna miss him so much.
We'd been on the plane for about three hours and Frank was asleep. I was watching movies while eating cold pizza that I had in my carrier bag. Finishing off my sixth slice of pizza i gulped down some pepsi then searched for some napkins. I was too lazy to get up so when I couldn't find any i placed both hands on the back of the seat in front of me and gently pressed my fingers on to the fabric, attempting to clean my greasy fingers.
The movie finished and I was getting pretty sleepy so I decided to switch to music. Flicking through the genres, I try to find a playlist which I will fall asleep to.
As I scroll down there was one that caught my attention. 'Punk// green day, blink 182, simple plan.. And many more!' With my chosen playlist I embrace my blanket and shut my eyes.i don't know why but fast and energetic music relaxed me.
The first couple of songs were great. Green day - Basket Case, All time low - Stella ect.. In the next song the best was hip hop like. I've heard this before. The lyrics began to come through and my memory began to jog. 'I need an alarm system in my house so I know when people are creeping about, these people are freaking me out'.
I began to smile, remembering that this was the song Luke had on his CD player in his car before I threw it out the window. ( Good Charlotte- Wanna live ). As my toes started tapping my head gently bobbed to the music as I laughed at the memories Luke and I had.
(2 days arriving home)
Frank had planned out an engagement party for me and him. A bunch of our friends and co workers were gonna be there. 4pm. The hairstylist Frank had hired for me arrived.
Along with someone to do my nails, make up and choose my outfit for the night. After washing my hair, the stylist blow dryed it as the nail artist shaped my nails to stick on fake ones for my ridged bitten real ones.
"You very beautiful." The nail artist smiled. She was asian, probably vietnamese or Chinese as they ruled the nail industry. I smiled back, thank her and complimented her back.
Foil was stuck on the ends of my long dark locks. The stylist had smeared a white foamy substance onto my ends; it was golden brown dye which I thought would look amazing. My long black, fake, nails were decorated with golden polish, tiny stones and glitter. I loved them. My hair set the stylist washed it again and dryed it.
After that she began to brush inwards and outwards as she held the dryer, causing my hair to form soft, wavy curls. A beautiful black dress was layed out on my bed, along with a diamond necklace with some glossy black high heels.
My heart usually flutters by now. All the surprises Frank gives me and diamonds he showered me in used to make me glow with glee. But for some reason, I felt bored. Both my hands trailed down body, my slender fingers gently brushing the silky, expensive fabric of my dress.
A knock came from my door. Obviously the make up artist.
6pm. The guests began to fload in. Slow, relaxing, jazzy melodies were played by the band Frank arranged.
Frank and I would listen to punk rock as teenagers. For some reason his taste completely changed and I was fine with that. When asked he told me that he wanted to be seen as a respected and wealthy man instead of a 'punk ass street rat'.
Guiding myself down the stairs I saw Frank near by the door, laughing with a few of his co workers. I stood on the stair case for a while, attempting to catch Franks attention, but failed.
"Rahma?" A faint voice caught my attention. Causing my eyes to detach from Franks place. As I looked down I met eyes with a pastel blue haired boy with big red plumbed lips and unreal eyes.
"Michael!"'I laughed. Wrapping both arms around the tall boys neck as he lifted me down the stairs.
I've known Michael since 3rd grade but I hadn't seen him for over three years. All I got out of him was some phones calls on my birthday or christmas. God I missed him so fucking much.
"How are you!" He placed his big hand on my naked shoulder.
"Eh, I'm good. I missed you so much!" I playfully nudged his arm.
"Good?! This is your engagement party, Rahma!"
"I know." I glanced down to my hands and began to play with my ring as I let out a sigh. I felt a finger place under my chin.
Michael lifted my head up and looked into my eyes with furrowed brows. I felt beads of my sadness line my eyes as I breathed in trying to hold them back. Michael said nothing. He only pulled me in for another hug.
Consoling me with his warm giant hands moving up and down my back as my nails dug into his clothing. Michael gave the best hugs ever. I was lucky to have him as a friend.
"Michael?" A muffled voice could be heard behind him as he detached himself from me. II flicked off the remaining tears from my face and sniffled before returning to Michael.
"Rahma, this is Erin." He smiled. My eyes met with a light brown headed girl that had hair soft curls draped over her amazing blue dress. She had sparkling green/blue eyes that glistened in the lights. Damn go michael.
As the night past I didn't see much of Frank. Michael, Erin and I talked about our adventure; I talked about my journey in Australia and Erin and Michael talked about how they met.
"There you are! Where've you been babe?" Frank laughed, wrapping his arm around my waist, pulling me closer into him.
It made me shiver, almost cringe.
Frank was accompanied by a couple. The head of the company he worked for and his wife. Looking around the room all I saw was snotty pigs; eating money and drinking the riches down. What was this.
"Congratulations darling! You're a lucky lady!" The fat man chuckled as he patted Frank. I felt pretty sick and tired of this party.
And all I really wanted right now was to take a bath and sleep.
"Fran-"
"Hey guys did you hear that they upgraded the elvator." I was interrupted by Frank and as he carried on his conversation about elvatores and the company i strolled off. Near by the kitchen there was a fire alarm.
'Five Seconds. What would you grab?'
I wonder what Frank would grab.
Lifting the glass that protected the trigger i wrapped my fingers around the small red bar and applied pressure. The house echoed with the unpleasant noise as the guests left.
"Rahma! Grab anything valuable. Like you know; laptops, diamonds, phones." Frank went on to mumble about the bad timing.
What the actual fuck. Anything valuable?! What the fuck about me.
I rushed into the other room and began to pack my things with tears rushing down my face as Frank left the building.
