Chloe Grace Mortez... It was a hard choice to choose for shy girl, obviously she fits more than one discription but I think she can fit this. If I made a 'shy girl' story, she would be my first choice. I would make her shy but sarcastic. She wouldn't stutter like some shy girls, those aren't my type. Maybe a tiny bit of stuttering here and there but that's life. ANYWAY, she would be a good choice for this role, GREAT actress. Later in the story she won't be as shy of course but you get the point.
She is someone who likes to stay in the shadows, because she always finds out more like that, always has leverage over people considering she knows. She wouldn't use the information unless NEEDED to.
