Yashiro's POV
I woke up to an unbearable head ache.
I wish I hadn't woke up...
I opened my eyes to a white and yellowish ceiling, with bright lights.
"Hnng..." I groaned as I stretched my arm up.
"Hey, Nene-san, are you okay?" I heard a voice ask.
I'm hallucinating again, aren't I?
"This is another hallucination... Amane-kun is here." I giggled a little bit at my hallucination.
-Amane's POV-
What?
Halluci- what does she mean?
"Nene-san... are you sure you're okay...?" I asked her again.
"If I said no, do you promise not to tell the real Amane-kun?" She responded.
I had to say I was the real Amane, but... This would be the only time she'd be truthful with what she feels right now, so...
"I promise"
Dammit Amane, she's gonna hate you but, you need to know how she feels right now.

"How do you feel, Nene-san?"
"Not okay."
"Do you need anything?"
"The lights off..."
"Are you hungry?"
"Yeah, kinda..."
Speaking of hungry...
Does she even eat?
"Nene-san...?"
"What.."
"Why did you faint?"
Normal POV
She looked at the blurry figure of Amane, then answered.
"I..."
"Amane! Is daikon-chan awake yet?!"
Yashiro quickly jolted her whole body up, her mind totally awaken and a surprised look.
She looked at the boy beside her, and saw the real Amane.
"Ah! Daikon-chan! You're awake!!!" Tsukasa exclaimed, then quickly rushed to hug her.
Yashiro hugged back with an embarrassed face in realization of what happened.
I called him a hallucination! Stupid Nene!
He doesn't hate me, does he...?
Yashiro looked at Amane, who was looking away.
Then...
"Why did you faint?"
"I..."
If it weren't for Tsukasa, her secret would've been revealed.
And she's not ready to share it, yet.
"H-How long was I asleep...?" Yashiro mumbled.
"Thankfully, just for a few hours..." Amane mumbled back.
"Come on, Tsukasa. We have to go." Amane tried to pry his brother off Yashiro.
"We have to go, Nene-san... We promised our mom we would stay here until you wake up. And thankfully, you did." Amane smiled faintly at Yashiro.
"Yeah, sure... I'm sorry you had to take care of me." Yashiro apologized, then stood up to lead the twins to the door.
"It wasn't a problem actually, Nene-san." Amane smiled again.
"Byebye Daikon-chan!!!" Tsukasa waved, and Yashiro waved back.
-Yashiro's POV-
It's been a few minutes since the Yugi twins left.
Hey, I love the twins and all but...
I don't wanna get attached to them.
Well, I already am, but... I don't know anymore.
I'm grateful for them, really...
I almost caught feelings for Amane-kun, actually...
I wanna stay away from them, but...
"Nene-san! Good morning!"
I groaned as I opened my eyes.
It was Amane-kun.
"Wha-... Amane-kun? Why are you here?" I asked him with pure confusion.
I looked at the clock, it was 5:30. Why so early?
"Well, last time I checked your fridge, it was almost empty." He leaned closer to me.
"You. Weren't. Eating. Were you?" He poked my forehead along with every word of his.
"Ow! Stop it!" I complained.
"Come on, I made breakfast at home for you." He smiled at me.
I felt embarrassed. He didn't need to go through that much trouble for me...
Just as I was about to object,
"No buts. Now come on." He dragged me out of bed and into the dining area.
This is why.
This is why I can't go further away from them.
Every time I distance myself from them, they...

"Oh, and, Nene-san, I made you some lunch too." Amane-kun smiled at me.
"E-Eh?! Y-You didn't h-have too...! I have a bento in the fridge, didn't you see-?" I objected.
"It was store bought, so...~" he hummed.
I was being ungrateful again.
"Thank you, Amane-kun..." I whispered.
He smiled.
"No problem! Now, eat!!" He pushed a plate of miso fried rice, sweet potato dumpling, rice ball with pickled plum, and rolled egg in front of me. (Or in other words, modern-style Japanese breakfast. Forgive me I don't live in Japan-)
(Idk any of the food there except the tomato (there's meat there? Idk) so don't attack me cause I just wrote what consists of the meal under the picture from safari)
It smelled delicious, but...
"A-Amane-kun... I'm grateful, I really am, but, you didn't have to go through much trouble just for me...! A-And... Th-This is too much..." I looked at the food.
"But you haven't been eating!" He insisted.
I smiled softly at him.
"Thank you again..." I whispered as I started eating.

They're so kind to me.
Sometimes, I think I'm just dreaming.

I stayed quiet for the rest of day. I only spoke when needed to.
I avoided Amane-kun and Tsukasa, and everyone else.
It's funny.
When you're loved, you're supposed to like it.
But me...
I'm hating it.
