𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐎. Here's an updated tutorial on how to make the smoothest skin possible in photoshop. I wouldn't call this retouching or something, it's just one of the ways how to make their skin even smoother without using the blur tool I showed you. This is one of the techniques I use a lot because it's simple and it looks still delicate as it should look. So let's get started!

STEP ONE. You need to download a skin-related brush pack. It's a must because without it you wouldn't able to achieve the same effect as I do. You can find these packs on websites like brusheezy or Deviantart. I am using the ones that are available for downloading on DeviantArt because it's one of my fav graphics pages where you can get resources.

Simply search "skin brushes" and one of the many variants should pop up under your search bar.

I am using an updated version of the brushes by KeepWaiting on DeviantArt called "COSMETIC 3-IN-1 BRUSH PACK". It's my most favorite brush pack. The link to it will be in the comment section for you to download it.

STEP TWO. Add these brushes into your photoshop by going into the brush section and clicking on "import brushes" and then you select your abr. file. Please check if your brushes are installed.

STEP THREE. Open a photo of your choice or your project and select the smudge tool that can be found in the toolbar on your left. (If you can't see a little image of a pointing finger and see only a triangle or drop, right-click on it and select the smudge tool.)

In the smudge tool, you choose a skin brush you just downloaded and you choose pressure. The higher pressure you select the skin will be more blended. So I recommend you to use the lightest pressure amount because it looks more natural.

STEP FOUR. The last step is simple, just smudge the skin. Here's a gif that I made. It shows the skin without smudging and the skin after smudge.  The difference at first isn't noticeable but if you keep looking at it, you will see the difference.
