Chapter Thirty:
(SARAWAT)
I sighed as I got home. I saw my apartment still look quite messy because I didn't do anything but to live like a teenage heartbroken guy who doesn't want to do anything but sleep and cry.
"Woah. What happened? Seems like no Sarawat lived here for months"
Tine said that made me embarrassed. I found myself gently rubbing my nape. I nervously laughed at that.
"Meow"
Tine (the cat) quickly jumped out from the sofa when we got in. I took him on my hand but I saw the kitten eyeing Tine who's still standing on the entrance closing the door behind him.
"Seems like he miss you"
I said looking at the paw scratching my shirt.
"Aww. I miss him too"
Tine pouted. My heart skipped a beat when I saw him. It's only been a week but it seems forever that I didn't saw that pretty pouty lips of his. I just want to give him a smooch.
Oh shoot! Chill there buddy! What are you thinking huh?
I mentally shake my head because of my own thoughts. I made my way to the sofa and put my bag there and I was about to head out to my room when the cat in my arms tried to free himself. The cat still bending his head to see Tine who made himself comfortable on the sofa. He saw what tine was doing and a big smile appeared on his lips. He jogged towards us and he pet the kitten's head. He's too close and I would be lying if I said it didn't took my breath away. It is because Tine is so close.
"Miss me little Wat? Don't worry I miss you too buddy. Wanna play?"
Tine asked.
"Put a mask on. Once again, I thought we had an agreement that his name is tine?"
I said and Tine just rolled his eyes. I saw Tine walked towards the center table to take a mask. I decided to take a shower so I put tine down but the little bud digged her nails on my pants.
"Tine baby, no"
I said looking down at the kitten but then I heard a thud noise. I look to Tine and found out that it was him. He accidentally dropped the box of masks as if he was caught red handed and his eyes are wide.
"You okay there Tine?"
I asked. And I saw his face got flushed red down his neck.
Oh.
"Y-eah the box just slipped off from my hand hehe"
He said as he picked the box and put it down on the table. He wear the mask he took before and he made his way to play with the kitten.
What is it making Tine flustered? Then I remembered when I scold tine. Oh is it because I called him baby? Oh there. I forgot that it affect him too haha. Now I thank myself for not thinking too much on what name I give the kitten before. It's just that Tine looks cute everytime he thought I was referring to him not the kitten.
(A/N: Note: Tine (Person) tine (kitten) In case it confuse you dearies hehe)
Perhaps he wants to be called baby too? Haha. Funny. I know it should have been happen if I didn't missed the chance to confessed to him.
Suddenly I realized that it's impossible. Tine doesn't like me. He's into girls. He likes Pear not me. That thought made a stingy pain on my chest. Good thing I didn't confessed or else I will only look like a fool.
It was all in my head all this time, anyway.
"Wat you okay?"
I came back from reality when I heard Tine's voice.
"Y-eah. I'll just take a shower"
Even though I didn't get a chance at least we made up. Him having by my side is enough. Even if it is one sided. Even if it is just a pure friendship. I just hope that this stupid feelings of mine can forget. After all I used to love him as a friend before I love him romantically maybe bringing it back to that way is not that hard.
Right?

Days passed and I couldn't get more happier. We're back at being friends again. I can see that our conjoined friends are also happy that we're okay.
"Stupid that's not the right answer. It's letter D"
I said looking at Tine in a judging way.
"Shut up you don't know anything"
He said as he glared at me making me laugh.
But I cleared my throat when I realized that our friends looking at me and smiling naughtily.
Damn. I was caught.
"Why don't you solve it and see for yourself?"
I challenge Tine. Once again he glared at me but he took his pen and a piece of paper trying to solve the problem. I watch him and compared it to his previous solving that is still written on the same paper and smirked when I saw where he got it wrong.
"Damn. I love your brain!"
Tine exclaimed making me smile and before I could even think I said things.
"Just my brain?"
I asked. I heard a cough on the background but who cares? I know it came from my idiotic friend.
"No. I love you"
Tine said laughing.
Oh. What the f*ck.
I felt my face heat up all of a sudden. I just wanna smack the back of this little shit's head for pulling something like that.
Good thing the bell rang.
"Damn! We have to go now! See ya!"
Tine said and they bid their byes leaving us.
"You shouldn't put a move like that out of nowhere if you can't handle Tine's comeback"
Man said chuckling.
"You should have seen your face"
Boss said and I just rolled my eyes at them as I smack their head using the empty water bottle.

We're at the field doing our daily practice when our Coach called my name.
"You're done for the day Guntithanon"
I looked at him in disbelief.
"Why?"
"Someone is asking for you. She's waiting over there"
I mentally glared at him. I know he's not that kind of a person who will let me go just like that but it's another way around when a beautiful girl asked him. Tch.
"Is it the girl from before?"
I said asking the obvious.
"Yeah. And it's not the first time she asked for you"
I looked at him confusedly.
"Oh really. I think you just let her do what she wants. When I actually told you not to let her in? After all, pretty girls got special treatment from you. Isn't it coach?"
I said mocking him. He was taken aback by my words because he knows that I'm pissed off. But then he sighed.
"No Wat. I definitely ask her to back off but the poor girl been doing this for days. I just sent her back without you knowing. But she's begging me as if she's desperate to see you today. She said that it is really important so I let her"
I didn't answer him instead I just sighed.
"You shouldn't waste such a beauty, Guntithanon"
I really do want to say something about that but I hold myself back. I wonder what would he will think, if he knew what it is behind that angelic face of her.
I let a notice to my friends that I'm leaving and even took a glance at Tine who's currently practicing cheerleading on the side of the field. He's so focused so I decided not to tell him, besides we didn't have an agreement that we will go home together anyway. So I left.
I made my way on the waiting area. I felt my feet getting heavier as I got close to where she is. I don't know but there is something forcing me to see her. So I did. I feel like there's something wrong.
"Didn't I told you that I don't like y---"
I was cut off when she ran to me. She hugged me tight and buried her face on my chest.
What the.
I was about to pull her, gripping her arms tight but then I heard her sobs. She clenched her gripped on my sweat- soaked jersey as she cried harder.
"Hey what's wr---"
"Wat"
She called me with her trembling voice as I felt her shivering. I didn't know what happened but I would be lying if I told you that it didn't affect me.
So I let her.

A/N: Oho. This is such a short update but I pulled everything I want to put on it. Wat trying to forget his feelings for Tine and wants to bring it back to a pure friendship. Tine being flustered but a confident one at the same time and lastly, making Monica and Wat meet again.
