The driver was experienced at his job and had gone through special training. On the flat road, he drove the car steadily and evenly. Ye Zhen, who was sitting in the back seat and holding Zhouzhou, didn't feel the slightest sway. It was if she was walking on level ground.
Lu Beichuan had gotten a call from a household servant that someone would be bringing lunch over at noon.

As a few employees passed by him, they greeted him. Hearing his words, they blinked in surprise.
Hearing his nagging voice, Ye Zhen pouted. Without a better option, she said, "It's not like I don't have legs... Fine, I'll stay in the car to wait for you. Happy with that?"
After saying that, Ye Zhen hung up.
There was a Rolls Royce along with two BMWs parked outside of the office building. It was noon, and the cars attracted a lot of attention. Security guards also went forward to shoo off these cars. Before they did that, they inquired about the identity of the passengers. The driver informed them and sent away the security guards.
CEO Lu's wife had come here to see him. Who would dare chase her away?

The elevator chimed when it reached the first floor. Lu Beichuan rushed out of the elevator. He was dressed formally with a white shirt and a vest over it along with shiny leather shoes. He hadn't even taken the time to put on his suit jacket. He strode towards the doors where the car was parked.
It was currently lunch break, and the employees were leaving the office building in small groups. The luxury cars that were parked outside attracted many people's attention. But although they were curious, it wasn't enough for them to stop them in their tracks.
After all, luxury cars weren't that uncommon in the most prosperous city.
No one was allowed to stay parked here for too long. The security guard stepped forward to ask and found out that it was actually CEO Lu's wife!

When he had gotten Ye Zhen's call, his heart had almost fallen out. He was very anxious.
This woman always made him worry. She was out running about when her one-month recuperation period had just ended. What would he do if something happened to her?
Lu Beichuan sighed and stopped by the car door.
The driver saw Lu Beichuan's expression and promptly lowered his head. He secretly questioned what was the difference? CEO Lu's attitude towards his wife was fine when they were at home. Why was he acting so differently when they were outside?
The driver didn't dare to say anything.
Standing in front of the car door, Lu Beichuan leaned over and opened the door. He very carefully helped Ye Zhen, who was holding the baby, out of the car.

Ye Zhen tilted her head and smiled at Lu Beichuan. "I brought Zhouzhou with me to bring you a lunchbox. Mr. Lu, aren't you touched?"

Ye Zhen put Zhouzhou into his arm. Lu Beichuan held Zhouzhou with one arm and kept the other arm around Ye Zhen's waist as they walked into the building.
Behind them, the driver closed the car door. Seeing how intimate they looked from the back, he sighed in relief.
He had thought CEO Lu's attitude towards his wife had changed. But no, that wouldn't make sense. The two of them seemed stuck at the hips when they were at home. He had overthought.
