Dhaksha's Pov

"Go check on them" I sent a soldier to check on them.

"What happened, Dhaksha?" Draupadi asked.

I looked outside.

"Here they come, Upapandavas, Pandavaputras," they announced.

Everyone stood eagerly looking at the door. Draupadi was gazing at the door intensely with her eyes full of tears.

"This is it, Draupadi," I whispered to her.

The first one arrived with a spear in his hand. With bright skin, misty grey eyes, and had Yudhishthira Na's smile. He walked in front of Draupadi.

"I'm Prativindhya, son of Pitashree Yudhishthira and Mata Draupadi. Greetings to all," he said.

The second one arrived with gada in his hand. He had the beauty of Moon and the walk of Bheem Na.

"I'm Sutasoma, son of Pitashree Bheema and  Mata Draupadi, " he said.

The third one arrived with a sword on his hand with that fierce look. He looked just like Nakul.

"I'm Shatanika, proud son of Pitashree Nakul and my brave Mata Draupadi. My greetings to all," he said.

"So proud," Nakul said.

The fourth one arrived with an ax in his hand. He walked gently into the door and smiled at Draupadi.

"I'm Shrutasena, son of Pitashree Sahadev and Mata Draupadi," he said.

Draupadi was already in tears looking at her children.

"They look amazing," I said to Aarya. 'Of course, Pandavaputras is indeed amazing. Here is my son' he moved forward.

The fifth one arrived with a bow in his hand. Pale bronze skin, Hazel brown eyes, and long shiny hair. Just like Aarya. He walked towards Draupadi.

"I'm Shrutasena son of Gandivathari Arjun and Mata Draupadi bravest women I know" he said.

"This is it" I stood gazing at the five.

Draupadi stretched her arms. All five ran towards Draupadi and hugged her. It's just like I saw. Yet it felt different seeing them.

"We shall be like our fathers and never let them down," Prativindhya said.

"You are five of the sons of the world's indestructible Pandavas. No one shall beat you," Draupadi said.

"We wanna be their pillars and protect them at any cost. Bless us, Mata" Mirthik stood in front of them, and Virthik stood beside him. "And I wanna become a shield of all my brothers, and I shall give my life to save them. Bless me, Mata" Abimanyu stood at the front.

"You both are the indestructible pillars sons of  Gandivathari Arjuna And my Sakhi Dhaksha, the bravest women I ever know. Gifts of Trimurtis of this Universe who shall stop you? Ayushmaan Bhava," she blessed.

She turned to me and smiled. I nodded my head.

"My Son Abhimanyu son of Arjuna and Subhadra Compassionate and Generous women alive. You possess all those skills of this universe. You shall be the shield of all your brothers and successful in whatever you are up to, Ayushmaan Bhava," she blessed.

"Get your Father's blessings now," she said.

They all walked towards Pandavas, and they got their blessings. It looked so good seeing Upapandavas and Pandavas together.

I turned to Kanha. He was smiling at them all. I can't do this, knowing what shall happen how he can stand like this. I was literally in tears, and I stood wiping my tears.

I can't let that happen to him. They deserve to be happy. They deserve the universe.

"This looks perfect right," Uttar said.

"Of course, seeing Upapandavas and Pandavas together is a blessing," I said while wiping my tears.

"Why do you look down then?"

"I don't look down. I'm crying because I'm soo happy, excuse me then" I walked away.

"Mata," I heard a voice.

I turned to see it was Abimanyu.

"Tell me, son," I put on a smiling face.

"You don't think  I can be a shield to my brothers," he said.

"You are my brave son who learned from your mother's womb. Why would you say such words?"

"Cause in this whole room, you are the one who looks so down and lost."

"I'm not Los-"

"Here is my little gift Mata. Whenever you feel down, look into this" he gave me a small locket covered with rose stones and crystals.

Image

I opened the locket. I saw a mirror reflecting on me.

"Whenever you look at the mirror, you shall think of your son Abhimanyu and think how much I don't like seeing you like this. And then smile,"

I went speechless.

"Blessing Mata"

"You shall get whatever you dreamt of, and I shall always make that happen even if the universe opposes them, "I smiled while controlling my tears.

I ran away to the room next door as tears shredded.

"Upapandavas are just like their Father right, "Kanha walked inside.

"I can't, Bhaiya. I can't tolerate seeing this. They don't deserve that ending."

"This is not a book to have happy endings and sad ones. It's a life story, my dear Dhaksha. It always goes on." he smiled.

"Maybe life can go on like the way they wanted. There is no reason to go on like the way it did."

"Then why do you want to wage war? Maybe you can change it from here," he asked.

"We are raising war to destroy adharma Bhaiya. It's not to kill our loved ones."

"Well, everyone lost their loved ones. You only saw how Upapandavas died. But can you imagine how many soldiers died in that war? Can you imagine how many people lost their loved ones too? It's not that we only lost our loved ones. The universe always finds its balance. There is nothing we can do. Even I can't do anything. I don't know how it's going to end this time, my dear sister," he said those mysterious words.

"Vasudeva," I heard Draupadi's voice.

She walked fastly towards Kanha.

"You are here too" she looked at me.

"What's with your words Vasudevarey," she said with her eyes in tears.

"What did he say?" I asked.

"He said, Abimanyu will change this yug's fate. But his son shall be the ruler. Why can't Abhimanyu be the Chakravathi? Why can't Prativindhya be the one? Why Abhimanyu's son?" She asked.

"I can't watch this, Kanha."

"There is something mysterious behind all of your words. I wanna know the meaning, Vasudeva," she said.

"If you worry about the future, you can't be happy now, Sakhi. Present-day well-being cannot alleviate future pain. Don't try to know about the future and try to accept what's going to happen. Pray to Lord," he said.

"Dhaksha, you knew this right," she asked me.

"Sakhi.."

"And you did want to wage war, and you watched it all along," she asked.

"I didn't have the choice Sakhi. It's like war is the right choice at the time. I didn't think of this back then."

"If you want to know. Hear upon this Krishn," he shouted.

"Bhaiya doesn't," I said.

"This whole Kuru dynasty shall destroy except your five husbands. This Kurukshetra war shall only see blood running like a river. Pain and suffering shall come."

"What? " Draupadi exclaimed." My husbands are going to fight in this war and win them with losing all my children. How come this is fair, Vasudeva" she cried.

"Have faith in God and pray to him. Who knows his plan. Maybe there's hope. Maybe he can change everything as he likes," Kanha said, staring at me. ' That's all I can say, my dear Sakhi.'

He walked away.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I guess I'm not full yet,"  Sutasoma said.
"It's because you didn't get to eat everything from that vessel, I guess," Shatanika said, laughing.
Everyone chuckled as Draupadi sat thinking about what Bhaiya said.
"We don't blame you, my dear Sutasoma. Blame it on your Father," Aarya said.
"My dear Arjuna" Bheem na stared at Aarya.
Everyone laughed at them. It is indeed admirable. Who would want that destiny for these children?
"No one would want that," I heard Bhaiya.
"Of course" I turned to him.
"Welcome, Chakravathi Yudhishthira greetings, King Virat Greetings, Yadavraj Vasudeva Krishn greetings. On this special occasion, this Vidhushagan has come to entertain you all with my stories. Tell me the story you want to hear from this," Vidhushagan said while dancing.
"Sri Ram's stories," Shrutakarma said.
"Lord Siva's marriage," Sutasoma said. special
"Tell me one story, my dears," he said. " Yadav ki Vasudeva Krishna can you tell me.'
"No, no Vidhushaga let Draupadi take the opportunity to choose," Bhaiya said.' Choose it as you wish and let your mind get calmed.'
"I'm Calm Vasudeva," Draupadi replied.
"Then this Vidhushagan can tell you a story which can Calm your mind Chakravathini. A boy who was adorable for his mischievous pranks, the one who have done many miracles and slew demons. Even the sky can fall for the sound of his flute, leaving everyone to dance ecstatically with him in the moonlight." Vidhushagan said.
"A boy who can manage to tell one sentence with millions of meanings in it," I said.
Kanha turned to me.
"It seems like you have trillions of meanings in this sentence."
"Only one motive to tease you, Gokulathu Krishnaa."
"That's right, Rajkumari," Vidhushagan smiled.
"A story Abimanyu and his brothers should know about," Subhadra said.
"Absolutely," He laughed.
"Long ago in Madhura, there was a wicked king  named Kamsa...." Vidhushagan started.
I looked at Kanha, who was smiling divinely. It looked as if that Vasudeva Krishna was innocent.
Kids who played with Krishn and who heard him play flute all night are indeed lucky.
Suddenly, the entire hall was a blur. I couldn't see anything properly.I wiped my eyes and tried to look. But it was still the same. I felt all dizzy as I was staring at Kanha, and then it went all blank.
~~~~~~~~~~~

I opened my eyes, finding myself lying in the middle of the woods. I noticed my costumes were all changed. All my ornaments were gone.

Did someone rob us?

I stood up as I saw a boy walking towards me.

"Get up, Dhaksha," he gave his hands.

"Who are you, and where am I?"
