"Higher ups?" Hyunwoo obviously didn't know
"The Wang family is a mafia family" Jackson cleared his confusion. Hyunwoo's face started to stiffen at the word mafia. Hyunwoo isn't really fond of the mafia especially ever since y/n's situation
"Mafia family?" Before Jackson could even respond Hyunwoo's phone started ringing. Hyunwoo reached for his phone and answered the call without checking the caller's id
"H-Hello?"
"Okay? Why are you stuttering?"
"Who's this?"
"Idiot. Check the caller's id before picking up"
"Oh wait-" he immediately looked at the caller's id and halts when he saw that it was y/n. He glanced at Jackson who was looking at him with a smile on his face
"Oh! Y/n! W-What made you call?" He stammered and he knew y/n would be confused as to why he's stuttering. Y/n would definitely doubt something's up
"Yeah...well I just wanted to see you"
"Right now!?" He panicked and glanced again at Jackson who still had the same expression earlier
"Woah chill, what are you getting all worked up for?"
"Well.." he bit his bottom lip
"Is that Y/n? I want to talk to her too" Jackson pouted and made the puppy eyes "Come on I want to talk to my little sister, she's not only your little sister but mine! Now don't be selfish and let me talk to her" Jackson said and was about to reach the phone away from him but he avoided that
"Are you with someone right now? Am I interrupting a meeting or something?"
"No...-ah erm I'm not free today. W-Well uh something came up and uh...it's important" he said while trying to yank Jackson's arms away that was trying to take his phone away from him to talk to Y/n
"More important than me?" Hyunwoo started to feel guilty to not be with Y/n when she needs him. He's sure that she's having a hard time right now, especially since she got herself involved with people in the mafia. Y/n laughed to break the silence that was erupting
"Anyways! If you're busy then maybe next time" she says and before hyunwoo could even respond y/n had already ended the call.
Hyunwoo sighed and looked at the black screen of his phone "Awww why did you end the call? I haven't even talked to her yet" Jackson said through a baby voice
"Look, I think it's best to not yet tell y/n about this" Hyunwoo suggested which made Jackson tilt his head
"Why?"
"Wow, you're in a mafia family but you don't know anything about what's happening. Anyways, five years ago y/n accidentally slept with a mafia boss but she escaped and she was pregnant" he explained
"Mafia boss? Who?" Jackson asked as his bubbly expression from earlier started disappearing
"Hwang Hyunjin" Hyunwoo said. Jackson's face turned into a serious one and leaned back on his chair, Jackson crossed his legs again as he became silent
"Anyways..." Hyunwoo trailed and continued his explanation "Y/n dropped out of school since she couldn't keep up with her studies and decided to help me, since her going to school and me going to work no one can take care of the baby. So she decided to leave her studies and help me, we're twins but she's the only one who got to go to school since I was the one working to provide for us" Hyunwoo laughed as he started to get flashbacks
Jackson's face started to darken as he heard about what they've been experiencing ever since their father sent them to an orphanage "I should have did everything I could to find the two of you earlier. If I had found the two of you earlier you guys shouldn't have experienced all of that in such a young age and y/n wouldn't have gotten pregnant. You would have gotten to go to school and make friends instead of working your ass off to just put food on the table" Jackson clenched his fist and gritted his teeth
"No it's okay because of those hardships we've encountered it made us strong and besides we still survived despite us experiencing all those in a young age" Hyunwoo smiled. Jackson's guilt kept on eating him up "Anyways that's why I think it's best to not tell y/n yet, she had it rough and telling her this would only stress her out. She might look strong but she's fragile inside" Hyunwoo said
Jackson sighed as he couldn't do anything about it "Okay, we won't tell y/n yet but now quit all of your jobs that you applied. I have already decided that I would take one of you with me and I won't be taking no as an answer" Jackson smiled and stood up from his chair, he put his shades on and looked at Hyunwoo
"Get ready at 6pm little brother, you're going back to where you originally belong" he smiled and tucked his hands inside his pockets and started walking away from Hyunwoo as his guards followed him from behind
"Hey" Felix knocked on the door that was open. I looked at him waiting for him to say something "Get ready" he says
"Why?" I asked
"We're attending an event and I need you and sam there" he said, his hands on his pockets as he leaned to the side of the door "actually we won't be bringing the kid with us, there would be shit heads that would try to humiliate the kid or even try to talk to him to use him to get closer to me" you can clearly see that he was annoyed at the thought of that
"Do I need to look I don't know...appealing?" I asked and he smirked
"You already look stunning with whatever dress you wear" he said with a smug look and turned his back on me
"Oh yeah, I already ordered dresses that you can pick to wear tonight. Have fun" he smiled and walked away. I sighed, he's flirty as always it hasn't been months but I can already tell his attitude
I don't really want to go but I might get killed if I don't. I shivered at the thought of it and stood up. Someone knocked on the door which I opened and maids with tons of dresses came in
"What the" the maids put all of the dresses in the bed as I looked at all of it with wide eyes
"Madame this is all Mr. Lee had bought for you, there are dresses, accessories, and heels that you can pick here" one of the maids said and bowed at me before going out with the maids
I know he said he ordered dresses but I never knew it was this many. There's one thing Felix and Hyunjin have in common, they're filthy rich.
