Dalilah:
It was the next day and I had so many things to do my mothers funeral was today and I have to talk to my new mafia I walked downstairs to see Luke and the rest of the mafia I had to text Luke to get them all together
" Um as y'all probably know I'm Dalilah, my au- mother said y'all know everything is that right," I asked
They all nodded their heads " ok then I'm taking over the spot of the leader we will work harder and this will be great I'm new to this I would not mind help if it's given" they all nod and stand up and come towards me and wrap their hands around me it felt nice they already felt like family
Someone cleared there through I looked behind me it was Dominic
" everyone this is Dominic, Dominic this is my family," I said they all smiled " we will leave in 2 hours for the funeral be ready," I said " Dalilah there's one more thing I need to talk to you about," Luke said " ok," I said
" right before your mother was killed she had a baby girl you're a big sister," he said " what," I asked in shock how could she hide this from me " can I see her," I asked " yeah come on," Luke said going to one of the many living rooms Dominic followed close behind
She looked so innocent I felt bad she would never meet our mother " does she have a name" I asked
" no, we thought you should name her," Luke said
" ok Camilla Sofia amor my mom always talked about the name Camilla and I had to use her name," I said
" I love it I'll go tell everyone," Luke said leaving the room
I picked her up and held her in my arms I looked up to see Dominic staring at me " what am I supposed to do with a baby I'm 17" I said " you mean what are we gonna do I'm not letting you do this alone and your almost 18 and we'll finish high school and take care of her and we can help each other with the mafias ok" he said
Dominics POV: I was not about to let her do this alone I would help with everything the mafia the baby I knew she was already stressed she just found out who her real mother was I walked over and sat next to her
Dalilah POV: he sat next to me and put his arm around my waist pulling me closer he wiped a tear from my face I just looked him in his eyes our faces were so close I could feel his breath on my lips was I falling for him
I could see the lust and desire in his eyes before I could comprehend anything his lips were on mine I was shocked I didn't know what to do I kissed him back I guess those feelings from when we were kids came back
Someone cleared their throat I pulled back and Dominic put his face in my neck it was Luke he gave me this look "we're about to leave Dalilah"
I looked down to see Camilla sleeping in my arms I smiled a little " do you want me to take her while you get ready" he asked
" sure" he walked over and I handed her to him and as soon as he walked away Dominic put his hands around my waist and pulled me down on the couch so I was laying on top of him "we have to get ready Dominic," I said sitting up he had his hands on my hips " fine," he said I got up but not before pecking him on the lips what was I doing what was he doing to me
I hurried up the stairs and changed
I know it was really reveling but in my defense, I didn't have many options and I was not really prepared with many black outfits
I probably should have picked something different but it was fine he changed into an all-black suit and we went downstairs luke still had Camilla I grabbed her from his arms " do y'all have a car seat" I asked I wanted Camilla to be safe "yeah I'll go get it for y'all" he winked at me I rolled my eyes he was referring to Dominic
He came back with a car seat " I'll go put it in the car I'll be right back" Dominic said as he kissed the top of my head before leaving to install it
I walked to Camilla's room it was all decorated nicely I grabbed my mini black backpack and put a change of clothes in it for her and some extra diapers and wipes I went to the kitchen putting extra bottles in it
" So what's all that about," Luke asked " it's nothing ok," I said " it didn't look like nothing Lilah"
" I don't know ok we hated each other before this the day my mom died he started being nice again ok we were childhood best friends and life happens he was trying to protect me and we stopped being friends but know I don't know I think I'm falling for him ok," I said that was the first time I admitted to liking him
Luke looked stunned "Woah"
Dominic walked into the kitchen
" hey lover boy," Luke said
I glared at him
" are you ready to go," Dominic said with a slight smile I think he liked that comment "yeah," I said
" me and the rest will meet you there ok," Luke said I nodded my head and walked to the car
Putting Camilla in her chair " stop staring" I said I didn't even need to turn around to see him staring at my butt I felt his eyes " I'm not" he defended " yes you are" I said with a chuckle closing the door he pushed me against the car
" your right I was but only because your beautiful," he said I shook my head smiling he put his head in my neck leaving kisses " come on we have to go" I said giggling
He got off me and opened my door "thanks" I said
He got in on his side and drove off this is the part I hated we pulled up to the cemetery and I got Camilla while Dominic grabbed the bag handing it to me we walked up to where the people were walking to the front standing by Luke I sighed staring at her casket I looked behind me to see those little rats " keep them out of here" I whispered to Luke he gave a few guys a look they nod in understanding
And go to make sure those lying rat parents don't come near me or my sister
After they forced them to leave they came back
" as most of you know I'm the daughter of Sofia amor she was the best person ever she cared so much she was a great teacher and leader I hope y'all all felt the same way" I say tears falling down my face Dominic wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me close I laid my head on his chest watching as they lowered my mom to the ground
Camilla started crying it's like she could feel our mom leaving " it's ok" I whisper to her and rocked her she cried " I know I'll never be her I just hope I'm enough" I say under my breath Dominic grabs her holding her she stopped crying he pulled me back to him
" you'll always be enough you'll do great" he whispered in my ear then kissed my head
I just stood there " Dalilah, baby," Dominic said pulling me out of my thoughts I look at him " it's time to go," he said I don't say anything I just walk to the car he followed and put Camilla in her seat I guess she fell asleep she was so quiet he started the car and drove to my house as soon as we got there I got out and went to my room and laid in the bed he came in 30 minutes later
" Camilla is sleeping," he said laying next to me he wrapped his hands on my waist and pulled me close
