𝑪𝑶𝑹𝑫𝑬𝑳𝑰𝑨 𝑾𝑶𝑲𝑬 𝑼𝑷 early the nrxt morning ready to go to breakfest, She dreamed of the storys her friends were telling her about Ron, Harry and Hermione the golden group of Hogwarts
She dreamed vividly of Ron sacrificing himself in the chess set and all 3 of them getting through the devils snare
What she dreamed of even had extra details that she didnt remember people telling her, but maybe Sage, Charlotte and Aurora had been talking about it when she was drifiting of to sleep and managed to slip into her dreams
She got her robes on and went down to the great hall to eat her breakfest for her first day of classes
As she came down to the great hall she noticed that her friends were nowhere to be seen, she looked around the great hall and found Amelia, Luna and Ginny sitting on the ground in a corner eating their breakfest
She walked over to them and looked at them with a curious look when they politley smiled back
"If you are wondering why we are sitting here its our new eating spot, That greasy professor said we had to sit at our house tables and not with eachother, So we arent sitting at a table" Ginny stated
"Yeah ill sit here with you, I made some Hufflepuff friends but they are a bit over their heads, I mean I like them and all but they are a bit to girly for me" Cordelia told them conforming they went taking their places
"We have classes in 30 minutes, Cordelia and I have gryffindor and Hufflepuff defence against the dark arts and Luna and Mille have Ravenclaw and Slytherin potions" Ginny reminded them
"The new defence against the dark arts proffessor is litterally the worst and I can confirm that" Amelia complained
"How do you know that Millie, Just because he looks very weird in those robes dont mean he's horrible" Luna suggested
"I know he's horrible, After my dad went to azkaban my mom obviously got a divorce, She dated a ton of guys and he was one of them, He was one of her long term relationships, He was so cocky and he was never home because of his "adventures" whenever he went on one hewould come home drunk of hungover" Amelia told us
"So your telling me his adventuresare fake?" Cordelia questioned, She had heardabout this guys massive ego and she wanted to know if it was fake, not that she belived in the first place
"Of couse it fake, unless hes drinking firewhisky with the vampires" Amelia joked
causing the three other girls to laugh
"We've got to tell Hermione this" Ginny laughed before pulling Cordelia up from her spot on the floor and dragging her over to Hermione
They ran over to Hermione, Ron, and Harry and started saying things at the same time making it nonaduible
"Ginny shut up, Your teaching your friend to be annoying too" He said motioning to Cordelia
"Oh, Harry and Ron this is Cordelia Longbottom" She said and Cordelia stuck her hand out for the boys to shake, but instead the boys snickered
"Longbottom as in Neville Longbottom" Ron snickered trying to hold it in but obviously failing
"Longbottom as in Draco Malfoy, No idoit of course Longbottom as in Neville, and Its not funny" She sneered
"She's right, Neville and Cordelia are both amazing people you may not joke about it" Hermione added
"Whatever" Ron rolled his eyes so hard he may have evern seen his empty brain while he was at it
"Hey idiot why arent you sitting at the Hufflepuff table" Seamus yelled from the other end og the Gryffindor table causing Dean to roll his eye
"I would slap you but shit spaltters" Cordelia yelled back sarcasticly flipping her hair, This time making Dean start giggling
"hey I taught you that" He said almost sadly
when Cordelia flipped him off turned back towards Ginny
"Come on lets go back to eat" Ginny said dragging Cordelia away from Seamus beforea fight could break out
They finished eating and chatting before they were to go to class, Luna and Ameilia had went down the the dungeons, While Ginny and Cordeliawent up to the Gryffindor tower to get Ginny's books
"Wow the gryffindor common room is amazing" Cordelia said looking around at the amazing room, the common room was a circular room where Gryffindor students could relax after a long day of studying. It was full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board where school notices, ads, lost posters, etc, The common room was decorated in several shades of red, which was associated with the house
Ginny ran up to the first years dorm and left Cordelia to sit alone on a couch in the large room
While she was sitting there quitetly and a bit akwardly because she was in another houses common room when a girl walked in, She looked like she was in about 4th year
"Hi, Sorry im in a rush" She said running around the room grabbing books from every corner
When she came to the couch she came to a sudden stop, She looked at Cordelia and scanned the small girl
"Since when was Neville Longbottom a girl" She said "Because I dont remember you being a Gryffindor"
"Oh im Cordelia Longbottom, Im actually a Hufflepuff, Im Neville's sister" Cordelia stated
"Im Angelina Johnson, and you must be a very bright kid im a 4th year, I tutored Neville for a little bit last year, He is extremly smart" The girl told her
Cordelia just smiled in response, It made her feel nice when someone treated her brother with such respect
Ginny came running down the stair with her backpack empty and her arms overflowing with books
"Ginny put your damn book's in your bag, Thats what is for last time I checked" Cordelia joked helping her with her book
"But im to lazy" Ginny complained while Angelia stood there totally forgetting she was in a rush while laughing at the unorganized girls
"Fine ill do it for you" Cordelia suggested and started packing the book into the bag
Ginny had her transfiguration book, Her potion's book, Her defense book, Her herboligy book and a brown book with no words on the cover
"Dont touch that" Ginny said quickly snatching the book out of Cordelia's hand while Angilina made a face looking as she was exited things would get interesting
"Okay" Cordelia scoffed assuming the things she was holding was indeed a diary and didnt want to make Ginny uncoforatble
Ginny took the backpak out of Cordelia hands and placed the brown book in the backpack, grabbing Cordelias hand and dragging her down to defense against the dark arts
When they arrived in the classroom they were already 5 minutes late, The quickly ran into the classroom banging the large doors against the walls behind it causing the entire class to look at them
"Ahh two more students" Professor Lockheart said, He was even worse than Amelia described, He had periwinkle robes tha made him look like a five year old playing dress up and blonde hair that was obvious a wig, He had the worst smile that looked like his breath stank
"What trash can did that crawl out of" Ginny whispered to Cordelia as they were walking to their seats near the front of the classroom causing a few people around them to snicker
They sat down in their seats and got out there books, The professor looked at the girls curiously before walking over
"Let me guess you are Ginny Weasley" He said pointing at Cordelia reading off the list "And that mean you must be Cordelia Longbottom" She said pointing to Ginny unknowingly he mixed them up
"Actually you missed us up, Even idiots know that all Weasleys have red hair" Cordelia said annoyed
"Well I though Longbottoms were wimpy but you clearly have some sass" Lockheart sneered through his fake smile
"If I throw a stick will you go fetch it" Cordelia said back causing the intire class to 'oooooo'
"If you dont shut your mouth the next thing
coming out of it will be your teeth" He whispered to Cordelia so the class wouldnt hear
"I could tell you to eat shit but that would be cannibalism" Cordelia said smugly
"Miss. Longbottom shut up please" He smiled
"Proffessor, would you like to hear a joke" Cordelia said smirking knowing what was about to happen
"Whats the diffrece between you and eggs" She said while Ginny snicked to herself beside Cordelia
"What" She said through his teeth trying not to show the class the anger that was clearly visable
"Eggs get laid you dont" She smiled looking around the class and saw the entire class laughing, some looking in conclusion
"I heard stuff about the longbottoms, I was told they were wimpy yet insane" He said making sure the class hear the insane part loud and clear
"What the fuck" She said suddnly, The class somewhat confused on her reaction
"I was told they were a little, Or alot insane" He told her looking around the class
"If your going to be two faced atleast make sure one of them is pretty" She said her voice shaking on the comment he made earlier
"This is inopropreate behavior, Professor Mcgonagall's office now" Lockheart said still smiling
"She isnt even my head of house, For your information my yellow robes means Hufflepuff" She said emphazising the Hufflepuff while waving her tie in his face
"Well she is the deputy headmisstress and Dumbledore is busy" He said waving her out of the vocabulary
"If I wanted to hear from an asshole I would have farted" She said flipping him off and remembering to thank Seamus
She walked slowly around the hallways not knowing where Mcgonagalls office was but looking at the pictures on the wall
She was looking at all the pictures when she heard someone running in her direction
"Delia there you are" Ginny said panting trying to catch her breath
"Ginny what are you doing her" She said wondering why her best friend had followed her
"Class was boring and you were gone so I used the insult you used on Seamus, You know 'I would slap you but shit splatters' So he told me to follow you to Mcgonagall's office
"Your learning from the best" Cordelia said nudging Ginnys arm as she started looking at the paintings
"I know where professor McGonagall's office is, Follow me" She said talking Cordelia arm
They walked down the hallways with their arms linked, Even though they had only known eachother for a day if felt like they had known eachother for years
"You know, You really are a badass Hufflepuff" Ginny said looking at the floor "I know you thought Hufflepuff are wimy but your the oppisite"
"I know" Cordelia said dramiticly flipping her hair for the scond time that day, It had turned into a thing
"How did you get all those insults, I dont expect your brother told you" Ginny asked Cordelia
"Nah, My brother is too innocent, I leant it all from Seamus" Cordelia said proudly
Soon they were right in front of McGonagalls office, Ginny looked a bit scared while Cordelia looked detrmitend
"Heyyyyyyy" Cordelia said throwing the door open revealing a older woman calmly drinking tea
When she saw Cordelia in her office she looked..
Relieved?
Cordelia and Ginny plopped down in two comfy arm chairs by the fireside while McGonagall put down her tea and say by her desk
"May I ask why your here" She asked with a small smile on her face that was barley noticable
"Lockheart is a lunitic" She said smugly sinking back into her chair
"Im about to have a meeting with Professor Sprout so I dont have much time today, But all I can say is I agree with you Miss Longbottom, But if you tell anybody its your word against mine"
"Okay well I guess see ya Minne!" Cordelia said dragging Ginny out of the office
Minnie smilled to herself at the nickname and continued drinking her tea
"She didnt even get mad, I must have scared her off" Cordelia spoke proudly to herself
"Its McGonagall, She is badass she isnt scared of anyone" Ginny responded
"Hey I thought I was badass" Cordelia pouted, looking at Ginny with sad puppy dog eyes
"You are the badass Hufflepuff and Minne is the badass Gryffindor" Ginny conformed
"Ill take it" Cordelia shrugged as they walked to thir next class
