The next day, things became a bit awkward for the two of us.
I can't take it off from my mind. The events that happen from that night.
I don't have the strength to bring the topic up and luckily she hasn't initiate in bringing it up too.
We barely talk on our flight back.
We just tried to be casual but I can still feel the awkward atmosphere.
When we reach the lobby of the hotel.
She turn her head to look at me.
"Come to my office later." She said.
"Um w.." I didn't even get to talk properly.
She already walked away without waiting for my response.
I walked back to my hotel room and unpack my things.
After a few minutes of rest, I got out of my room and walk to her office.
I really hope this has nothing to do from last night.
Her assistant let me inside.
I walked slowly, Sarah stood beside her desk.
"I'm sorry for all the trouble I cause in Thailand. By the way, this is for the money you lend me." She said while handing me a cheque with a generous amount written into it.
I shook my head.
"Oh it's okay.. you don't have to pay me up." I declined.
She moved her hand forward and still insisted. "Please take it Via.." she said much softer.
"We're bestfriends..." She averted her eyes on her side. "Seriously, you don't have to pay me. It's my turn to return the favor. You were the one who always did stuff for me. The money is nothing compared to all the things you've given me. I'm not taking the cheque." I replied.
She put it down on her desk.
"Okay.. if that's what you want." She said.
She walk over to her coffee counter.
"Do you want some coffee or tea?" She asked while taking out two cups from the counter.
I moved forward.
"It's okay.. I should get going." I said as I walk towards her door.
"Wait.. why don't you stay for a bit?" She asked while walking closer.
I stood awkwardly while leaning my back on the door.
I shut my eyes close when she reach me to the door.
"Via.." she called my attention.
Why can't I just stop thinking about that night?
Nothing even happen..
I open my eyes reluctantly. "Yes?" I breathe out.
She was just staring at me quite intensely.
Until she blink and flash me an adorable smile trying to break the growing tension.
Or maybe I'm the only one feeling it right now.
"Tea?" She offered while bringing the cup in front of my face.
"Thanks.." I replied as I take it from her hand.
Our fingers made contact which made me panicked a little bit.
I'm definitely acting weird right now.
"Um.. I really have to go.. See you later." I said hastily before jogging out of her office.
I kept myself busy with well.. nothing really.
I just watch movies in my room all day.
If only Tyler was here with me..
Everything is going so great why did Sarah have to do that and complicate things.
Now it keeps replaying on my head on how we almost did something..
Something bad..
And here she is still acting all casual about it.
I mean I guess she's just really affectionate is telling me that she likes me..
I'm assuming as a friend or bestfriend because anything more to it is not right..

It's been almost a week and I haven't gotten over it yet.
She could probably sense my uneasiness around her because she gradually lessen the time she comes up to my room to hangout.
I just wish I can stop thinking about it and stop acting weird.
I am on my way to meet my mom right now to support her for her photoshoot. They are featuring Sarah's hotel on a famous magazine.
They were already at the pictorial.
My mom and Sarah had several shots together.
I wave at them when I arrived.
"You look great mom." I said while giving her a hug.
"Thanks Via.. Sarah got a whole lot of make up artist for this shoot. I feel like I'm a celebrity." My mom said gushing.
I turn my attention to Sarah.
She was very stunning today. I tried not to stare too long.
"You too Sarah.. you look perfect." I replied honestly.
She avoided my gaze and I can see her cheeks getting slightly red from my compliment.
"Thanks Via.." she replied smiling as she turn her head to face me again.
After a couple of shots, my mom call after me so I walk towards them.
"Let's have some photos together sweety." My mom said.
Sarah tried to excuse herself but my mom insisted that she should join us.
So all three of us had photos together.
I tried to calm myself when Sarah and I stood next to each other. Every physical contact is making me so much self-aware and conscious now.
On our last shot, she lean closer and whispered behind my ear. I felt goosebumps all over me.
"I think we should talk.." she simply said.
After the photoshoot, I follow her hesitantly.
We ended up going to the rooftop where no one else is around.
I'm kind of nervous but I tried to play it cool.
"What do you want to talk about Sarah?" I asked.
Breaking the silence.
"You've been acting weird." She mentioned.
I rubbed the back of my neck thinking of some excuse.
"Weird.. I'm not." I decided to pretend I don't know what she was talking about.
Her face became serious and so was her tone.
"Yes you are.. You're also avoiding me." She pressed further.
I chuckled awkwardly.
"What do you mean?" I asked faking my innocence.
She started to walk closer towards me.
"You know." she said.
I just stood there frozen while my heart starting to race.
"I really don't." I lied.
She stare at my eyes like she was searching for something.
I shift my gaze and avoided eye contact. That only made me look more guilty.
"This is about Thailand right.." she said that more as a statement than a question.
"What about Thailand?" I asked again.
She shook her head trying to keep a straight face.
I could sense her annoyance getting visible.
"Our last night together.." she finally brought up after a week of ignoring the events.
"Well, what about it? I mostly stayed in my room and you went out for a meeting. Everything was great." I replied hoping that she understood that I was very much set to dismissing what happen as not a big deal.
"I'm talking about after.. please, stop playing dumb." She replied while taking my one hand.
She stare at me longingly.
I can't..
"We drank wine and went to sleep." I replied.
She pressed my hand once. She no longer hide her own frustrations on me.
"We had.. " she paused for a second while gently caressing my hand." A moment.." she finished as she turn her full attention to me.
Her eyes were holding so much meaning.. it was like she was pleading for some acknowledgement.
I totally get what she's saying.
But I don't want to ruin our friendship. I didn't want any risk.
I slightly shook my head.
"Moment? We had too much wine.. I guess." I replied forcing a laughed.
She finally let go of my hand.
She turn around, her back facing me.
"Okay.. I got it. I'm sorry.." she said in a low voice.
I heard her voice cracked.
I was worried that she might get the wrong idea of me trying to make fun of the situation.
I place my one hand on her shoulder and try to turn her but she wave her hand dismissively, still not looking at me and just staring away through a distance.
"Sarah.. We're friends." I said trying to smooth things up.
I can feel that she was upset about something.
She slightly nod.
"I know.. friends." She repeated.
She gently wipe something below her eyes and I heard her sniffle.
I step closer, I think she's really upset with me.
"Sarah.. are you okay?" I asked worriedly.
After a deep sighed, she finally turn around and brought her attention back to me.
"Just stop being weird around me Via. I can pretend nothing happen." She replied seriously.
"Nothing happen.." I repeated.
I'm too in denial about this. I'm not going to acknowledge that night.
"Okay.. if you insist." She replied with a slight nod.
"Let's go back" she said lastly as she walk past me.
And I think I just made things worse.
After that day, she start giving me the silent treatment and avoiding me every chance she had.
It's a big hotel, I know but there are events or occasion when she intentionally ignore me.
I feel like I'm back to being a teenager again.
She told me not to be weird when she is doing exactly the same thing now.
It's been a couple of days now.. probably more than a week or two.
I'm eating in the restaurant with Tyler.
He just got back from his trip with Lucas.
"So I got you this." He said while he place some souvenir on our table.
"Thanks.. where is Lucas?" I asked curiously.
"Oh, client meeting.. by the way, where is Sarah? I also bought some souvenirs for her." He mentioned.
I shift my gaze and drink my apple juice.
I shrugged my shoulders. "Probably at her office.." I replied.
He eyed me skeptically. "Did you guys fought or something?" He asked.
My eyes widen at his accusation. "What made you think so?"
He just laughed. "Because you two are always together. The only times you aren't is when you're fighting." He mentioned casually.
"Ha.. ha funny." I force a laughed.
"Oh there she is!" He said while he stood up and wave at Sarah. "Sarah come here!" He said a little louder.
I turn my attention to Sarah who was now looking at Tyler. She glance at me for a second then proceed to walk.
She reach our table and she and Tyler shared a hug. She didn't even smile at me.
"You're back. How was the trip?" She spoke.
"Awesome.. actually I got you something too. I thinkyou would like them." He said while he handed the paper bag.
"Oh that so thoughtful of you. Thank you." She replied smiling.
"C'mon, join us.. have a seat." Tyler offered.
She wave her hand politely dismissing him.
"Oh it's okay, I don't want to intrude." She said while giving me another glance.
Tyler pull her down to sit next to me.
"Don't be silly Sarah.. we are all friends here." He said casually.
She immediately move away giving us more distance than necessary.
I excuse myself and walked to the rest room leaving them to chat.
After a minute, I came back and sat across Tyler.
Sarah stood up and spoke again. "I'm sorry, I still have a meeting to go to. Thank you again Tyler." She said.
She glance at me and then back at Tyler again.
"Oh okay, let's catch up some other time." Tyler said as he wave off.
She nodded and smile before walking out of the restaurant.
I sighed.
I don't know how we ended up like this. We had so much fun together only to end up like this. Like strangers.
"Okay what the hell was that??" Tyler immediately sense what was going on.
"I was just joking when I mention about you two fighting.. but is it actually true?" He asked.
I shook my head.
"You're overreacting.." I said while rolling my eyes.
"You two didn't even speak to each other. What did I miss?" He pressed again.
"She's just busy. Are you done eating yet?" I said trying to change the topic.
He was not yet ready to let it go but thankfully I got a call from someone.
"Excuse me, I have to take this.. it's a movie producer." I said before I stood up to take the call.
The movie producer was interested in making m e the star role for a movie he was making. We talk over the phone for half an hour until it ended with me saying I'm very thankful for the offer and will check my schedule if there won't be any conflict.
Tyler start gushing when I finished the call.
"Oh girl, another movie.. wow! What is it about?" He asked.
I'm glad he forgot about interrogating me now.
So we ended up talking about what the producer had mentioned earlier instead.

A few days later, I was just lying on my bed while listening to some music when Tyler start knocking on my door impatiently.
I lazily walked over to open it up for him.
"Something happen in Thailand?! How could you never mention that to me?" He look at me like he felt betrayed for keeping it a secret from him.
Did Sarah told him?
I mean I guess so since they also hang out now even without me.
I massage my temple.
I'm really not in the mood right now.
"What did Sarah say? Nothing happen.." I said quite irritably.
"You and Sarah alone in a foreign country for a week.. You're telling me nothing happen?!" He is raising his voice now.
"What exactly did she say to you? Would you believe her more than me?" I replied groaning.
"Well, I might ask her later if you refuse to tell me anything." He countered.
I arched my eyebrows.
Totally confused.
"I heard it from your mom. She told me about the trip. I haven't talk to Sarah yet. I knew there's a reason why you two have been acting weird. What is it this time? I warned you remember." He explained.
Oh so this is the part where he will say I told you so?
"I said nothing happen!" I yelled which caught him off guard.
I'm totally in a terrible mood and this is a bad timing for us to talk about it.
I'm not feeling very well and I don't feel like talking at all.
"Calm down Olivia.. No need to shout and snap at me." He said in surrender.
I sat on the couch.
"I'm sorry.. I'm just tired." I said much calmer now.
I remember my last confrontation with Sarah which is mostly the same right now with me insisting that nothing happen.
"I'm also sorry for pushing.." Tyler replied while taking out a bottle of water in my fridge.
"I'm just tired of saying it all the time.
"Huh?" He handed it for me to drink.
"You and Sarah both insist that there was something." I explained before drinking the water.
"So which is it? I'm not going to judge you. I'm just worried." He said softly while caressing my shoulder.
I closed my eyes to process my thoughts.
"Why didn't you tell me about this trip?" He asked again.
I don't know because he always makes it a big deal when Sarah is involved.
"Because of your reaction right now." I replied dryly.
"Did you two..?" He didn't get to finished because I immediately shut it down.
"No! Gosh no.. we didn't. I didn't." I replied while my attention was on him.
He brought his hands forward in surrender. "Okay.. okay. Got it." He replied.
"So what's bothering you?" He asked.
I shook my head in annoyance.
"Sarah and I got along so well in Thailand. Just like old times. When we are still very tight and very close friends. We had so much fun together." I explained.
He nodded his head and just wait for me to tell the whole story.
"Our bond.. I missed it. I just realize how much I miss it now." I continued.
"You guys fought?" He asked unsure.
I shook my head. "No.."
He furrow his eyebrows
"Well things got a little weird. We were just talking and then I don't know.. we had some moment. I started feeling stuff. Then I stop." I finished.
"You start feeling stuff? Do you mean like you start having feelings for her again?" He inquired.
I inhaled and exhaled..
"I don't know.." I didn't want to deny nor confirm it to him.
"Do you think she has feelings for you?" He asked.
I arched my eyebrows. "It doesn't matter." I replied firmly.
He nodded.
I bit my lip and hoping that he would listen without any judgement. "I just.. everytime I'm with Sarah, sometimes I forgot about Ivan. I hate myself that I'm actually yearning for Sarah's attention. You are right.. we've been acting strange recently because I refuse to talk about that night. I just want Sarah to be in my life you know..as my friend.. Nothing complicated." I said.
"I understand.." he replied with a reassuring smile.
"Well, I don't think we will ever be again. She's already drifting apart from me as you've notice." I didn't realize the tears were already coming down from my eyes and I start sobbing.
He sat next to me and gave me a tight hug. "Hey.. hey, it's okay. I'll talk to her. It's probably just a misunderstanding." He said while trying to comfort me.
He stayed in my room until I finally relaxed. He made sure that I was okay before leaving.

Later that night,
I'm still not feeling too well.
My body is kind of weak and I don't like to move too much.
I walk over to my drawer and took out my old jewelry box.
I held the necklace in my hand.
It reminded me of the time Sarah gave it to me. I removed the ring that was attach to it.
"Friendship necklace.." I mumble to myself.
I just stare at it for some minutes then decided to wear it again.
I look at myself in the mirror.
I heard someone ringing my front door.
I walked to my door thinking that Tyler came back to check up on me.
When I open,
"Sarah.." I have a surprised look on my face.
She look so worried.
"Are you okay? I heard you were sick." she spoke softly.
I move my head to the side and sneeze..
Am I catching a cold or was it because I've been crying a lot earlier?
She raise her hand and place the back of her palm on my forehead to check my temperature.
"You're a little hot.." she mentioned.
I moved back a little.
"I'm fine Sarah.. Don't worry about me." I replied.
"Can I come in?" She asked.
I move a bit and let her enter.
"Tyler talk to you?" I asked curiously.
She nodded while placing the soup on my table.
She took a bowl and spoon and pour it with a hot soup.
"I'm going to go rest in my room." I said.
My head is really killing me right now.
She walked inside and follow me.
"I brought some medicine." she said while putting it on my table.
"I'm sorry, you didn't have to do this. I'm fine." I replied apologetically.
She sat on my side and start stirring the bowl gently.
"I want to." She said softly.
I smiled.
She help me sat up and try to feed me the soup.
"I'm sorry for the way I've been this past week." She apologize again.
I shook my head.
She extended her hand forward and brought the spoonful of soup in front of my face.
I let her feed me.
I actually like how she's taking care of me.
"No apologies needed." I replied smiling.
"Are you mad at me?" I asked.
She shook her head immediately.
"Of course not.." she replied.
She averted her eyes away from me.
She look a bit embarrass.
"I was just a little..." she paused.
"Upset?" I asked.
She shook her head again and focus in feeding me.
"Confuse.. it's not your fault." She clarified.
What was she confused about?
"I'm sorry.. I know I'm the first one to act weird about everything." I said almost whispering.
"Why?" She asked reluctantly.
I lick my dry lips and turn my head a little to my side.
"I felt pressured.." I replied honestly.
She didn't say anything. When I turn my attention back to her, her focus was on something else.
I lower my head and realise that she was looking at my necklace.
"You're wearing your necklace." She mentioned.
I smiled.
"Because you gave it to me. You're my best friend Sarah.. Always have and always will." I replied genuinely.
She place the bowl on my table and lean closer to give me a hug.
I embrace her tightly.
"Me too, always.." she replied.
She pulled away from the hug and start feeding me again.
"Where's the ring?" She asked curiously; referring to the ring attached on my necklace.
"I place it back on the box." I replied casually.
She nodded in understanding.
"Thank you for taking care of me." I said feeling thankful.
She lean closer and start tracing her index finger on my pendant.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
She look up and smile at me. "I'm just happy to see you wearing it." She said before letting her hands fall back to her side.
After I finished the soup and took the medicine. i instantly fell asleep. Sarah stayed with me until then.

A few days later,
My mom and I are having breakfast together.
"Did Oli told you he is coming here today?" My mom asked.
"Isn't he in Europe?" I replied asking.
"He is already on his flight right now. He would like to stop by for a few days to spend some time with us." She replied smiling.
"Just a few days?" I asked.
"Yes, I think he will go back to Europe after meeting some people for his business." My mom replied.
I know how much he misses him so I'm happy for her.
I do too..
We may not have been close but he is still my brother.
"What time will he arrive. Will someone fetch him? Is he staying in the hotel?" I asked curiously.
"Sarah already offered to drive him to the hotel. I think he prefers to stay at home though." She replied.
I nodded in understanding.
"Okay, I'm sure he miss a lot of things." I said smiling.
After breakfast, I walked back to my room.
I saw Sarah on my way back.
"Hi Via.." she greeted me warmly.
I smiled at her.
"Going somewhere?" I asked curiously.
"Oli is already waiting for me at the airport. Do you want to come?" She answered.
Oh right..
I shook my head.
"I'll just see him later." I replied.
"Okay then, talk to you soon." She replied smiling before walking out.
I wave good bye and proceed to walk to my room.
I get myself a glass of water when my phone starts ringing.
It was Tyler on my caller ID.
"Hey Liv!" Tori was the one who spoke through the phone.
"Hi, you and Tyler are together right now?" I asked even though it was obvious.
"We're drinking coffee right now, we coincidentally met in a shopping center." She mentioned.
I heard Tyler's voice talking.
"Why don't you join us? We're going to watch a movie later." She said.
Then I'm going to have to wear disguise again.
"How about you guys just join me instead on my room and then watch a movie." I replied.
She chuckled softly.
"Aren't you sick of the hotel yet? No offense, I love Sarah's hotel but.. you've been spending most if not all your time over there." She pointed out giggling.
Tyler snatch the phone and started talking to me.
"Hey girl, get your lazy butt off your bed and come out!" He said whining.
I could hear Tori laughing over the phone with him.
"I'm gonna have to pass.. next time." I replied.
"Urg, okay.. wait for us. We'll meet you in the hotel." Tyler said lastly before hanging off the phone.
Seriously, they could have watch a movie without me.
It only took a few minutes, they got inside my room with bunch of chips and drinks.
"I thought you guys are watching a movie?" I asked.
Tori gave me a hug.
"You didn't think we'll leave without you.. did you?" She said sweetly while poking my nose.
"Where's Sarah?" Tyler asked curiously.
"She pick up my brother in the airport." I replied casually.
"Oli's here?!" Tyler exclaimed quite loudly.
We both give him a weird look.
"Oh sorry.. was that too much?" He said after recovering.
Tori and I nodded.
"Still not obsessing about my brother are you?" I asked skeptically.
He laughed it off.
"Oh please.. Lucas is the only guy I'm obsessing on. My boo and no one else." He said defensively.
I rolled my eyes totally unconvinced.
"Sorry Ty, but you don't sound very convincing." Tori mention giggling.
"Oh, Tori I thought you will be on my side." Tyler pulled her away from me.
We both laughed.
"Sorry Ty.. Tori has always been on my side." I said proudly.
Tori nodded in agreement while she pulled away from his touch and then return to my side.
"Careful now Tori.. Olivia is already taken." He warned playfully.
She rolled her eyes and then smack a kiss on my cheeks.
I giggle softly.
"No one cares.. I can be sweet to all my friends." Tori replied casually.
I chuckled.
I brought out bowls and set the television.
"I like to watch the action movie you did last year." Tori mentioned.
"Oh that's a good one. Great choice." Tyler said while getting hi five from her.
I shook my head.
"C'mon guys.. anything except my movies. I'm not comfortable watching myself." I replied.
"What? You never watch any of your movies??" Tori asked in disbelief.
"Right.. she doesn't even pay attention on premiere nights." Tyler replied.
"Well, bare with it.. cause we are watching that movie." Tyler said jokingly.
"You've already watch that." I argued.
Tori took my hand and made me sit.
"Ssh.. please Liv, I really want to watch your movie." She replied while her eyes were blinking in a rather cute way.
I nodded in agreement.
Tyler play the movie and I was force to sit through it all.
He even tease me while Tori kept gushing on how great I was.
After awhile I got a message notification from Sarah.
She and Oli already arrived at the hotel. She's wondering if I want to join them.
I gave her a quick text telling her that Tori and Tyler are at my room watching a movie. I'll go see them a bit later.
"Who was that?" Tori asked curiously.
"Sarah.. she's already back in the hotel with my brother." I replied casually.
She moved on her seat. "Do you want to go see them?" She asked.
Tyler is already sleeping comfortably on the couch.
"We can finished the movie. I'll have plently of time to catch up later." I replied smiling.
She rest her head on my lap and continued watching.
After another hour, the movie ended and we woke Tyler up.
"Rise and shine Ty.." I said hitting him with a pillow.
"Oh hey guy.. Did I fell asleep?" He asked innocently.
"What do you think?" I asked frowning.
He sat up comfortably.
"My neck is sore.." he complained.
"I'll have to go see my brother now. You guys want to come with me?" I invited them.
"Sure.." Tori replied smiling.
The three of us walked down and ride an elavator then went to the restaurant where my mom Oli and Sarah are spending their time right now.
"Oh there's Via." I heard my mom spoke when we reach their table.
"V, hi... It's been a long time. I'm so happy to see you." Oli spoke in delight.
He gave me a big hug which I return gladly.
"Hello Oli.." Tori and Tyler spoke in unison.
"Oh hey guys!" He said smiling genuinely.
We sat on the table with them.
Tori and I sat next to each other while Tyler on the other side of Tori.
"Wait.. I thought you're dating Ivan Greyson. I saw it all over the news. Are you and Tori back together now?" Oli asked.
I coughed awkwardly.
Of all things he could ask.. he really had to ask about Tori and me.
"Oh Oli my dear.. your sister is perfectly happy with Ivan. She and Tori still remain good friends just like you and Sarah." My mom explained for us.
I glance at Sarah who was totally confused and questions written all over her face.
"What do you mean by back together? Tori and Via what?" She voice out her questioned.
Tori giggle softly.
"They dated back in college. You don't know?" Oli answered casually.
Sarah turn her attention to me then to Tori and exchanging looks between us.
"Oh the topic must have never been brought up." Tori asnwered.
I chuckle nervously.
She shook her head in disbelief.
"You never told me that Oli." She said again.
"Oh guys... It's all in history now." Tori tried to lighten up the mood.
"Right.. so long ago." I replied trying to sound more casual.
"Okay guys, why don't we order some food now." My mom spoke.
Tori and I shared the menu while picking for our meal.
She lean closer and whisper behind my ear.
"Sorry, I forgot about everyone thinking we dated." She said apologetically.
I nodded and smile. "Oh it's fine.."
Tyler suddenly laughed out loud.
I glare at him.
"Oops.. I'm so sorry.. I just remember a scene in a movie." He lied.
He is getting all the fun in this.
Everyone thinking I dated Tori when in fact it was Sarah and that Sarah now has no idea of the truth.
Crazy irony.
Oli started talking about his life. We just listen to his stories.
After eating, I walked Tyler and Tori out of the hotel while Sarah and Oli were left inside. My mom get back to her work shortly after the meal.
"That must have been awkward for you Olivia.." Tyler try not to laughed.
Tori slap Tyler's arm.
"Oh c'mon.."
"I can't believe Oli have to bring that up." I said.
"It's okay.. It's not a big deal. Everyone already move on." Tori replied reassuringly.
"Still awkward though.. since we all know the truth." Tyler mentioned.
"Stop laughing.." I told him.
"Fine, I got to go anyway." Tyler said while taking out his key.
He gave us a parting hug before walking away.
Tori and I was left alone.
"I had fun today." She said smiling.
"Me too. But please don't make me watch any of my movies again." I said.
She chuckled and gave me a hug.
"I got to go too. Good night Liv." She replied warmly.
I watch her walk away before I walk back to my room.
Sortly after, I heard a knock on my door.
It was Sarah.
"Hi, isn't it a bit late?" I glance at my clock.
"Nobody told me that you and Tori dated." She mentioned curiously.
I brush my hair.
I thought we already had this conversation earlier at the restaurant.
"Do you want to come in?" I offered giving her some space to get inside.
"Sure.. I'm just totally surprised. We've all been hanging out for weeks." She said.
I nodded.
"It's no big deal.. it's been years ago." I explained.
"It made sense why she always visited you in LA." She said nodding to herself.
"Where's Oli?" I asked curiously.
"He went home.. I tried convincing him to staying in the hotel but he didn't want to." She replied casually.
"Anything else you want to talk about?" I asked curiously.
"So I thought you're straight." She mentioned.
I arched my eyebrows.
I don't know where this conversation is going.
"Well, I don't really like to label myself. Is there a problem with me not being straight?" I asked instead.
She wasn't homophobic before.. I don't know why she's acting like I betray her.
She shook her head.
"Oh course not.. I'm just surprise. That's all." She explained.
I nodded.
"Okay.." I replied.
She sat across me.
"Is she the person you are talking about then?" She asked curiously.
I have no idea what she is talking about right now.
"You said you were getting over someone before you realize that you already fell for Ivan." She mentioned.
I averted my attention avoiding eye contact.
I slightly nod my head.
I can't keep lying about stuff.
"There's no reason to talk about this now. As you can see.. I'm already in a relationship and I have good relationship with everyone. Tori included." I explained.
I hope she drops this now.
"I don't think she's over you." She said in a low voice.
It made me chuckle how insane it was to think about that.
"I'm serious.." she said again.
I frown not believing her.
"I don't think so.." I replied casually.
"Is she your first love?" She asked curiously.
I stare at her for a few minutes.
And in that silence..
"She must be.." she said
"No.. not her." I replied seriously.
I sighed.
"Ivan is.." I paused for a second.
Knowing to myself that it was another one of my lies.
"Sorry for not telling you. To be honest, we didn't think it was important." I replied.
"I understand.. It just sucks you know.. not remembering stuff." She mentioned frustratingly.
"Yeah got your frustration.. just not getting the frustration out of my previous love life." I joked.
She slap my arm.
That's more like her.
"I'm just concern.." she reasoned.
"Yeah? It's already getting late. Perhaps you need to rest." I suggested.
"You just want to kick me out." She said pretending to be offended.
I laughed.
She stood up and walk over the door.
"Okay, I'll go now. Good night Via. See you tomorrow." She said lastly before opening the door on her way out.
I close the door behind me.
