It doesn't take long to realize we won't ever get out as long as Thomas stays mad at me, I already knew that but of course I managed to do it in the first place,
Thomas has been giving me the silent treatment for the past 15 minutes, staring at the wall.
Honestly, considering how much he talks usually,
I'm impressed,
"Thomas." I coo quietly,
"Thomas, I'm sorry okay, and that's not something I say often so I hope you know I really mean it."
I pause for a moment, hoping for a response,
Eventually, he turns to face me,
But he doesn't speak, instead he waits for me to continue,
I sigh, "I shouldn't have said that because it's not true, of course I like you Thomas, otherwise I wouldn't have done what I~"
I pause to correct myself, "What we did." I continue,
"It's just that~"
This time he cuts me off,
"You like him more."
"Wh~"
he cuts me off again,
"I get it y/n, you don't need to tell me."
"Just let me talk, please."
He obliged,
"I know it's stupid but I like you, and him, I just couldn't chose alright, I don't want to chose, I didn't want to hurt either of you."
"But you did." He speaks slightly above a whisper,
"I know and I really am sorry, I haven't even gotten a chance to speak to him yet."
"You're gonna have to."
"Yeah." It comes out as a sad quiet squeak,
"But maybe we could. Nevermind, we need to focus on getting out of here, right?"
"Right."
"You don't have to forgive me but...are we okay?"
