Som- Somnath. Aap mujhe somnath bulayenge toh shayad zyada behtar hoga. Kyun ki som mujhe sirf mere apne bulane hai.
Anirudh with tears was looking at Som.
Som too was feeling the pain after uttering those bitter words but it was nothing in front of the pain his boudi was going through.
Som - kaha tha aapse ,koi galat kadam mat uthana. Lekin aap toh Anirudh Roy is hain. Aap kahan kisi ki baat sunte hain.
Anirudh- som..
Som- aapko andaza bhi hai,boudi ki halat kya hai? Ek sec, aap unke kamre mein gye the na .
Anirudh was shocked to hear him.
Turning away his face ,he said - mein bhala kyun jaunga ,bondita ke kamre mein.

Anirudh sighed in defeat internally and said - Haan gya tha.

A slap echoed in the study.
Anirudh, red eyes- aage ek lafz mat bolna. Meri Bondita mere jeete jee mujhe kabhi chod ke nhi jaa sakti. Samjhe.
Som was standing there ,with hand on his cheek but was having a little smile. He saw the condition of the study. His eyes went towards the photoframe. His smile face again turned into a angry one.
Anirudh- meine jo kiya ,uske peeche ek wajah thi. Uss wajah se bhale hi meine galat raasta aapnaya, usse dard diya par uska dard mein mehsoos kar sakta hoon. Usse iss halat mein dekh ke mujhe koi khushi nhi ho rhi hai. Dard toh iss baat ka zyada ho rha hai ki mein uski iss halat ka wajah hoon.
Mein nhi chahta tha yeh sab karna, nhi chahta tha. Mein cheekh cheekh ke bolna chahta hoon, kyun kiya kisliye kiya par koi sunne wala nhi hai. Koi nhi .
Som - sunne waale log hain dada par aap kisi ko batana nhi chahte.
Anirudh shedding silent tears.
Som - boudi kal se lekar ab tak aapka intezaar karti rhi ki aap unke sawaalom ka jawab denge par aap nhi gye. Kyun dada?
Anirudh- nhi bata sakta. Sahi waqt nhi hai.
Som - sahi waqt ka intezzar karte karte kahin yeh naa ho Jaye ki boudi aapse sachme door chali jaye.
Anirudh shot a look towards Som.
Som - aise dekhiye mat, aapne jo kiya hai na uski saza aapko milegi. Dhyaan rahe. Aur woh din door nhi jab boudi humesha ke liye aapse door jayegi. Bondita ko aap bhi acche tarike se jaante hai aur mein bhi. Woh apna swabhimaan aue izzat ke saath kabhi samjhota nhi karti. Chahe paraye hon ya apne. Your time starts now Mr Roy Chowdhary. Som- kisliye? Boudi ke saath jo kiya uske liye yaa mujhe thappad maara uss liye.
Anirudh kept mum for a while and said- dono ke liye agar ho sake toh maaf kardena.
Som - mujhe thappad maara uske liye aapko maaf kar sakta hoon kyunki aap ka hak hai. Lekin boudi ke saath jo kiya uska hak iss duniya mein kisi ko nhi hai. Jis din boudi aapko maaf karegi , uss din mein aap ko maaf karunga. Aue Haan mein aapko tab tak dada nhi bulaunga jab tak boudi aapko maaf nhi kar deti. Yaa yeh kahun phirse payi nhi maan letiYeh Bondita ke bhai ka vaada hai.
Anirudh- kehna kya chahte ho?
Som- aapko kya lagta hai aapne jo kiya uske baad boudi aapko pati maangni? Na! Kabhi nhi. Pati toh door ki baat hai ,dost bhi nhi manegi.
Saying this he went away.
Anirudh again closed the doors of the study and went towards the sofa ,holding the photoframe in his hand. He was staring at the photoframe with unknown emotions. By hugging the photoframe, he slept.
Outside the study.
Som thinking- dada , kyun kiya aapne aisa ? Kya wajah thi? Aisi konsi wajah thi ki aapne boudi ko dard dena theek samjha? Unko dard hota hai toh aapko hota hai. Shayad zyada dard hota hai. Par kyun kiya aapne aisa?
Som was going towards his room when he saw batuks room little open. He saw that batuk was weeping, by holding something.
Som - batuk.
Batuk when heard soms voice cleared his face and said in a feeble voice- Haan dada kahiye.
Som - kya hua?
Batuk - kuch nhi bas..
Som - jhoot kabse bolna seekha tune?
Batuk hugged him and cried his heart out. Som closed his eyes,tears too fell from his eyes and he caressed Batuks hairs.
Som - shh. Sab theek ho jayega.
Batuk - kaise dada? Kaise hoga. Sab barbaad ho gya hai. Sab kuch.
Som - nhi. Kuch barbaad nhi hua hai. Bhagwaan par bharosa rakho.
Batuk,angrily- nhi. Mein uss bhagwaan pe bharosa nhi rakhunga jisne pehele meri maa ko cheen liya ,phir meri boudi ki khushiyan bhi cheen li.
Som - batuk, aisi baatein nhi karte. Acha theek hai bhagwaan oar nhi par boudi ke durgaa maa par toh bharosa hai na?
Batuk kept mum and nodded with tears in his eyes.
Som - chalo phir. Abhi in sab baaton ke baare mein mat socho. Hmm? Khana khaya?
Batuk - Naina,boudi aayi thi.
Som thanked Naina in his mind and after making batuk sleep he headed towards Bondita's room.
He peeped inside the room and found that Naina was sleeping with a tear stricken and frowned face.
He went toward her,sat beside her. He looked towards Bondita's face, which showed little relaxation due to cold winds. He looked at both the girls. After that he left the room. He left thinking- kal se ek nayi shuruwaat hogi.
Next Morning. 7 am.
Sun rays peeped inside the room falling on Bondita's face. She stirred in her sleep and woke up rubbing her face.
Suddenly she opened her eyes with a jerk as she remembered the recent events.
Her face showed disappointment and hurt but she soon recovered from it and thought something. She tried to get up hut failed miserably. Somehow she stood but fell again on bed.
Naina was coming towards Bondita's room and saw her awake. She ran to her and knelt down before her.
Naina- Bondita.. bondita tujhe hosh aa gya? Theek hain na tu?
Bondita meekly nodded and asked- mere paer mein itna dard..
Naina- tune jo kamre mein toofaan laya tha na ussi ka nateeja hai. Chal mein teri madat kar deti hoon taiyaar hone mein.
Saying this she helped bondita took her to the washroom and helped in Changing .
After having a fresh bathe, naina brought back ,bondita from washroom.
She made her sit in front of the dressing table and was about to tie her hair when Bondita said - Ruk.
Naina- kya hua?
Bondita- mein apne baal nhi baduungi.
Naina,confused- kya ? Par kyun?
Bondita- Bas,nhi bandhna abse. Khule rehne de. Jab se vivaah hua tha tabse baandhe rakhe the kyunki mein khud ek Bandhan mein bandhi hui thi par ab jab woh sab hai hi nhi toh kyun apne baal ko kisi Bandhan mein rakhun?
Rehne de khule.
Naina nodded and said- par thoda toh baal shailee kar sakti hoon na?
Bondita gave a light smile and nodded.
After doing her hair, she was about to make Bondita wear the ornaments but Bondita stopped and nodded in no showing her palm.
Naina sighed knowing her reason and was about to move away when she remembered something and said - yeh toh pehen sakti hai na ?
Bondita looked through the mirror yo see a chain. It was her father's chain.
Bondita- yeh kahan se mili?
Naina- bageeche mein padi hui thi. Ghum ho gyi thi na ?
Bondita, with a smile - pehena de na.
Naina smiled and made her wear it.
Naina- khub shundor.
Bondita- neeche chalen?
Naina - Bondita, woh..
Bondita- kya?
Naina- sindoor..
Bondita- kya sindoor?
Naina- tu sindoor nhi pehenegi?
Bondita- kiske naam ka pehenu?
Naina- Bondita..
Bondita-chal der ho rhi hai.
Naina- ruk abhi poori tarike se kahan taiyaar hui hai.
Bondita- kya?
Naina didn't say anything rather made her wear the kajal and a small bindi on her forehead. Little earrings studs which her father had made for her. Bondita had wore a simple cotton saree. No heavy jewelry or saree. Still she looked very beautiful.
Bondita-ab hua?
Naina-haan . Chal.
While moving down, both the girls thought- Aaj se ek Nayi Shuruwaat hai.
Downstairs.
Living room.
Everyone and everything was quite. No movement was made. Trilochan Kaka was silently doing his Zamindari work, binoy was reading the English Newspaper, Batuk was sitting beside Som who was helping him in doing Maths. Koyli was in the kitchen ,cutting down the vegetables and Bihari was dusting the showpiece and tables.
Anirudh and Manorama entered the scene. All the eyes landed on them but none of them pay any heed to them and silently did their work.
Anirudh sighed but Manorama was least affected by this. She was here only to finish her pending work i.e. her Muhim.
She had to meet her saathi and for that she had to go out. But how, she still had to think.
Suddenly all of them heard,tinkling of anklets sounds.
Anirudh, muttering to himself- Bondita.
Bondita decended down the stairs with the help of Naina.
All the gloomy faces turned into little smile. Kaka and Binoy were the first ones to go to her ,followed by Som and Batuk. Bihari called koyli out of the kitchen and both of them ran towards their beloved bahurani and chotimalkin.
Kaka- bahu kaisi tabyat hai tumahri ? Sab theek hai na?
Binoy - bondita bolo na beta, theek lag rha hai na tumhe? Yaa doctor ko bulaun?
Manorama taking the advantage of this situation, went outside. It's not that she didn't want to meet Bondita, she wanted but now her priority was her mission.
All the family members were standing,surrounding bondita when , she shouted- Bass.
A eere silence fell across.
Bondita, irritated- kitne sawaal puchte hain aap log? Abhi toh uthi hoon. Thoda shaant hoke , ek ek karke pucho.
One by one everyone asked and Bondita replied to everyone. But one person was hesitant to move forward and ask. Anirudh, so wanted to go to her , hug her ,caresse her hairs and say soothing words in her ears but alas he couldn't do so. He stood there silently, gazing at her.
Bondita feeling an intense gaze on her, she looked in direction only to meet his.
Their eyes locked for min but then bondita shifted her gaze towards the concerned family members.
Bondita- Chalo, khaana khaa lete hain.
The family nodded and moved towards the dining area.
Bondita was sitting on the table. Anirudh tried to sit beside Bondita but Som and Batuk didn't let him do so.
Anirudh, sat in front of Bondita but Bondita didn't pay any heed to him and was having the food silently.
Kaka announced- Aaj humara parivaar paas hi mein Radhakrishna mandir mein jayenge. Bondita bahu..
Bondita- Sirf Bondita. Meine kal hi ailaan kar diya tha ki mein ab iss ghar ki bahu nhi hoon. Meine yeh bhi socha hai ki aaj shaam ko yeh ghar chod, kahin chali jaungi.
As soon as she utterd these words , the family's face was worth watching.
Anirudh was numb, while others were shocked.
Binoy - tum yahan se kahi nhi jaogi.
Bondita- par yahan kis rishte se rahunga? Log sawaal nhi uthayenge?
Binoy - tumhe kab se logon ki baaton ki fikar hone lagi. Humne tumhe aise hi baba kehne nhi bola tha. Toh agar tum iss ghar mein rahogi toh woh beti ke tarah. Jaise humare bete hain, waise hi humare 2 betiyan hai. Toh tum yahan rahogi aur iske aage hum kuch nhi sunenge.
Bondita sighed and nodded hesitantly.
Anirudh internally sighed in relief while Kaka's eyes went towards Bondita's open hair and hairline.
Kaka- ba... bondita, tumahri maang kyun sunni hai? Aur baal, baal kyun khule huye hain?
All eyes came and landed on Bondita.
Near Radhakrishna Mandir.
Back side.
Two persons were coming disguised in black robes.
They came in front of each other and one of them uttered
Person 1 - Aazaad Hindustaan paane ka sabka ek sapna hai..
Person 2 - Aur uss Sapne ko Pura karne ka humara Kaam hai..
Person 1 - lekin jab tak yahan Angrezz hain..
Person 2 - tab tak humare desh ka Apmaan Hai.
Person 2 and 1 - Inqalab Zindabaad.
Both removed the mask and smiled at eachother.
Madhav- Person.
Manorama - Madhav said.
Madhav - Humari muhim ki nayi shuruwaat aaj se hogi. Taiyaar ho?
Manorama - Humesha se.
