"This is so cute" i held up a red beenie
"Girl Derrick would lose his mind if he saw me put our child in red

"Well well welll..i knew you had a lil weight on you but Its fat in the jeans too" i heard that voice and felt a smack on my ass
I turned around backhanding him
"I like that aggressive shit" he chuckled wipin blood from his lip
"Fuck is you stalkin me for?" I looked at him crazy steppin in front of my sister
"I just wanna take you out thats all show you what a real nigga can do" he pulled me close and drug the tip of his tounge behind my ear and he squeezed my neck hard
"Fuck off me" i pushed him into some clothes
"Whos that" Liyah whispered to me
"Im Carlos" he held his hand out standing up

"Come on well go somewhere else" i grabbed her hand leaving the store
As we were walking to gap i couldn't shake the feeling of being watched
"You hungry?" I asked her

"Good lets go to Buffalo Wild Wings" i smiled
I got in the car and drove to the restaurant
"Can you help me out my back is killing me" Aaleeyah said
"Here i come" i said as i dialed Sinceres number

"Me and my sister were at the mall today when Carlos started bothering me

"Hold on baby were about to order ill tell you later tonight" i said as we sat at the table
"Ok just come by my house amd bring some clothes" he said in a more comfortable seductive voice
"Ill see you later baby" i smiled

"Mhm when do i get to meet him?"
"Soon hopefully" i shrugged
"Mhm i hope so he ruinin sister dates and everything" she joked
"I was thinking about having a dinner at my house or something its been a while since ive been with all my siblings" i said thinking of my older brother and younger sister
"What kinda food you gone have?" She asked as they brought our wings
"Enough for all Three of you" i referred to the twins she was carrying
"Ouuu it could be a date night typa vibe you bring your mann ill bring mine and Jr can bring his wife" she said
"What about Tiana?" I asked about my little sister
"Chile she is 17 she would have a whole fit if she had to do a movie night and miss some party"
"I guess you right" i shrugged
I knew she didnt want her around because they cant stand eachother but i wasnt finna talk to her hormonal ass about it
Later that night.
"Hey baby" i answered the phone as i packed my lil hoe bag for the night
"What you feel like eatin tonight?"
"Ouu can you get me some orange chicken from Chinese place wit the fried rice"
"Yea i got you mama ill see you at the crib" he said before hanging up
I made surei had everything and turned my security system on before leaving

As i walked up the steps sin opened the door for me

"I guess you missed me" i smiled as he let me in
"Hell yea i aint seen you for 2 days them facetime calls aint shit" he followed me inside
"Come on you can out ya stuff upstairs" he grabbed my hand
When we got to his room he smacked fire from my thigh
"Ouch cut it out boa" i let my southern accent hit
"Or what?" He did it again
"Ight na ima fuck you up" i pointed at him
"Fuck me up then" he stood in front of me looking down at me
"Movee where the food at" i laughed pushing past him

We sat on the couch after eating and he poured me some wine

He put my feet im his lap and rubbed em
You would swear he was doin sum to me fr the way i was soundin
"Had a long day yesterday?" He asked

Eventually the subject of Carlos came up
"Bae remember how i told you Carlos was harassing me today?"
"Yea gone head and finish tellin me"
"Well my sister and i was lookin at clothes when he smacked my ass " i mumbled the last part
"He what?" He got serious
"He smacked my ass but i back handed him" i said
"I might as well tell you what the beef his" he shook his head
I could tell he was trying to stay calm
"Back when we was boys in highschool we were both deep im the streets the difference between us i didnt want thst to be my life forever but he did"
"One night shit got out of hand and i ended up gettin shot he felt like i was sellin him out or sum and basically left me to die"
"When i healed up i whooped his ass and moved out here to start a new life"
"I noticed the old wounds that morning but i didnt wanna ask about them" i touched the old wound over his heart
"Hold ya head over mama" he moved my hair to the side
I held it over for him
"What happened?" He asked
"What you mean?" I asked confused
"Your neck is bruised baby and i kno these not hickeys" he gently touched my neck
"Its probably bruising from when he choked me
"He what?" He stood up
"He choked me but its ok im fine i handled myself" i stood with him
He walked to his stairs
"Baby what are you doing?" I followed him
"Finna go see his ass fuck you mean?" He went in his closet getting dressed in sweats
"Noooo" i jumped on him and he caught me
"Move Kamika" he said walking around the room
"No. If you go im going with you" I held on tighter
"Baby please dont go hes just tryna get to you he wants you to retaliate i guarantee hes waitin on you right now" I said as he gently tossed me on the bed
"Thats fine"
"No its not look at me" i stood on the bed and was now his height
He silently looked into my eyes
"You left that life behind remember that hes just mad he stuck in the game" i held his face
"Dont Go" i said in all seriousness
"Ight" he nodded getting undressed
"Gimme a kiss" i stood on my tippy toes in front of him
He kissed me and then we layed down to watch a movie
As i dosed off i could hear him whisper
