So a certain kohli was dancing in the hotel room because finally he is going to meet his mahi bhai.
Anushka: Virat will you stop jumping, you will wake up vamika, and if she gets up na you're going to make her sleep again.
Virat : Sorry sorry, baby, you know na how excited I'm to meet mahi bhai.
Anushka: I can see that🙄.
Virat : By the way, princess will be awake till we reach there right? It's her first match she needs to see how well his dad plays 😎
Anushka (rolling her eyes) : Yeah, yeah As if she can understand
Virat (while admiring his princess) : Of course she will understand. Now let's go fast, we're getting late...

Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni is here for toss
Virat and MS gave a formal smile to each other
And MS Dhoni won the toss and choose to bat
And the match started, Virat & Co. walked into the crowd and Faf Du Plessis & Ruturaj Gaikwad came down to bat
The pitch was a batting pitch and was helping the batsmen.
Score was 62-0 by the end of the powerplay. But soon Abd took a flying catch on Chahal's ball and ruturaj got out but the strike got rotate. Then Raina came in. Again Chahal's magic worked and faf got bowled. Then the whole stadium started hooting as MSD walked in. Chahal was on hatrick and MS was on the crease. Ms took a single and Chahal's spell got over. Csk fans were going crazy as Thala and Chinna Thala was on crease, batting together troubling the bowlers with their battings. MS was in full form and bowlers were having hard time. Virat was thinking how to stop this mahi-sonu duo. Finally they got a break through when Siraj caught Raina's catch on Washington Sundar's ball. After Raina's dismissal, Sam Curran came to bat. Sam and MS was discussing something after that Sam hugged MS while saying he understood what he has to do and went to take strike. But kohli didn't liked Sam hugging MS like that, he missed the time when he and mahi bhai used to discuss about the pitch, the bowlers etc. He tried to convince his mind that Sam is mahi bhai's teammate so it's ok, but he couldn't take his eyes off from them. Sam hit a four and MS praised him, as virat was near he could hear them. Ms and Sam build a good partnership, Ms hitting big shots and taking risks while Sam supporting him. One such a ball where it looked Ms and Sam can take only single but they took double and MS was happy with Sam. On the last ball of the innings Ms hit a huge six and the ball was out of the park, and Sam jumped in excitement and said " Bhai that was hugeee". Even virat wanted to shout the same. But wait did Sam just called His Mahi Bhai, Bhai? Now possessiveness kicking off from every cell of his body, he wanted to meet bhai now, Right Now but that was not possible. Abd looked understood that Virat was off suddenly so he asked him the reason but Virat said he was thinking about how to chase the target, though Ab wasn't convinced but he didn't asked him anything giving him space. If Virat wanted to tell something he would have said.
Virat : So, Jaddu was right that Sam is Mahi bhai's favourite kiddo now. Ok ok Jaddu didn't said that directly but he anyway meant this only.
Flashback
Virat called Mahi bhai one day before match but Mahi bhai didn't answered, after all he share a beautiful relationship with his phone 🙄
So he called Jaddu. Jaddu was getting bored after he pranked almost everyone in the csk camp and mahi bhai strictly told him to not to prank more people in the hotel as sam complained how Jaddu scared him wearing a ghost mask on the terrace. He was thinking how to prank anyone else other than the csk camp as mahi bhai told him and in no case he is going to disobey his mahi bhai. Jaddu's phone rang and it was virat, his mind started working in light speed and he knew what he has to do.
Jaddu : Hi, Vi. What's up? Ready for tomorrow's match?
Virat : Of course, I'm ready and excited to meet you guys, especially mahi bhai, I missed him so much. Where is he? He isn't answering my calls.
Jaddu : Oh, so you've called me to talk with Mahi bhai?
Virat : Yes. We talked in the evening only. Now give the phone to bhai. I wanted to talk to him.
Jaddu: Wait, let me see he is free or not.
Virat :What do you mean by he's free or not? He's not free to talk to me? What bhai is doing?
Jaddu : Actually it's his gaming time na , he and Sam is playing some video game (he isn't like though along with cherry and bravo but at least he is saying the half truth). Mayne that's why he didn't answer your phone.
Virat (shockingly) : He is so busy with Sam Curran that he didn't answered my call.
Mahi Bhai is his brother he wants his all attention. He cut jaddu's call and called mahi bhai again. He called him thrice and finally mahi bhai answered.
Mahi bhai : Hi, cheeku. What happened, so many calls? You are fine?
Virat : Yes bhai. I'm perfectly fine. Why don't I call you without any reason?
Mahi bhai : No, I didn't mean that. Ok tell me how's your day?
Virat : It's was nice until jaddu's call (he murmured in the last)
Mahi bhai : Huh? What you said after nice?
Virat :Nothing bhai. By the way what were doing? You weren't answering my calls?
Mahi bhai: Sorry, actually I was playing game with Sam, b..
Before he could say more Sam came into Mahi's room
Mahi bhai : You haven't slept Sam? Its already 12.
Sam (showing his puppy eyes) : I'm going to sleep just one more last game, pls pls.
Mahi bhai : Ok ok, now don't make those cute faces, but don't be too late.
Sam(showing his 32 teeth) : I won't be too late as I want to play with you.
Mahi bhai : What? But we just played right?
Sam: Yes, but we haven't played COD. So its COD time. You finish your call I'm waiting.
Virat who was on line, could hear their talks and he was fuming. Its virat who demands things from him, ok ok harry, rohit, kuliya, jassi and its same for whole ict but that's other case. Sam is staying with mahi bhai in the same hotel, they are practicing together, playing together. Even he wants to do the same. Damn, he is missing bhai so much.
Virat switched the call to video.
Mahi bhai : Why you suddenly switched the call?
Virat : Because I wanted to see you.
Mahi bhai : You are okay cheeku? You look little off..
Virat : Nothing bhai. I was missing you so much. You remember your promise right? After the match you'll spend time with me.
Mahi bhai: Of course, I do.
Virat :Bhai you know..
Jaddu came and pulled mahi bhai's hand in such way that he is not seen in camera.
Mahi bhai : What are you doing? I'm coming, you go and start playing the game.
Before mahi bhai could take jaddu's name,virat cut the call assuming jaddu to be sam. He was fuming. How can sam do that? "Let me meet mahi bhai then I'll tell him that I'm not going to talk to him " he thought while walking in the room. Suddenly a message popped into his phone, it was some images sent by jaddu where mahi bhai was feeding Sam ice-cream.
( The reason behind the image was, sam was hurt while practicing catch, mahi bhai was sitting beside him so he fed him)
Second image was Sam hugging Mahi bhai while mahi bhai ruffling his hairs. (it was for some ad shoot)
Third image was Sam's head was on Mahi bhai shoulders and mahi bhai was assuring him about something holding his hands. (They were discussing about the match with India where sam tried so hard to make his team win but couldn't so he was really upset and mahi bhai was consoling him, cheering him up saying how good was he, this young kid wanted someone to guide him and who could be better than the MSD)
Virat's possessiveness reached to peak. No matter what, Mahi bhai was his, end of debate.
Anushka : Why are you walking in the room like a pendulum ?
Virat : I'm not going to talk to him. I'm going to complaint him.
Virat walked out of the room while whining.
Anushka to Vamika : Sometimes your dad acts weird 🙄

So virat reached to the conclusion that sam is bhai's favourite kid now.
The team walked into the ground again for the second innings.
Virat came with Devdutt Paddikal.
Virat was glaring Sam, though sam didn't noticed but bhai noticed, but he shrugged off the thought thinking that he might be overthinking.
The game started. Virat and Devdutt took the advantage of powerplay and play some quick shots, building a partnership of 57 runs in 30 balls. Sam came to bowl and Virat was glaring him again. This time both sam and mahi bhai so that. Both were confused thinking why virat was glaring him?
Devdutt was on strike and mahi bhai caught the ball. Sam appealed but the umpire didn't give him out so sam looked at MS and MS went for drs. MS didn't heard something but Sam looked sure so Ms trusted him.
Third umpire gave Devdutt out and sam was very happy. Not just because of the wicket but because Ms oops Mahi bhai trusted him. He hugged him and virat was fuming now. Ab came to bat and soon virat got the strike. He hit the first shot with so much force, he looked angry, but why? Thought both Sam and MS. Jaddu was laughing in his mind. Virat looked so cute in jealous. Jaddu thought to play this game a little more so he was thinking some ideas. Mahi bhai saw him laughing a little when virat glared at sam again. In no minute bhai understood that jaddu has something to do with virat's anger. But what it could be?
Virat and Ab made partnership of 112 runs when virat got lbw on jaddu's ball. Soon Abd was also got out on Bravo's ball. And the batting order collapsed. RCB lost the match with 11 runs. Virat and MS both went for post match presentation. MS got MOM for his terrific batting and Sam got Game Changer award for taking 4 wickets and giving 14 runs. Virat got Super Striker award for hitting maximum sixes.
When Mahi bhai was receiving the MOM virat looked so happy, he was cheering for him. But when Sam came Mahi bhai applauded for him, and Virat's mind worked up how sam is becoming mahi bhai's favourite. Chahal thought virat was upset because they lost the match.
Chahal : Don't worry bhaiya, we'll bounce back harder. We'll definitely win the next game.
"Here mahi bhai is going out of hand and he is concerned about the match", thought virat.

Finally everything was over, Mahi bhai didn't waited for virat as he need to talk virat asap. He wanted to know from jaddu also but he didn't showed up and he couldn't wait so he went to RCB dugout. Chahal saw him and hugged him, Ms also hugged him saying how good was he today with the ball.
Mahi bhai : Where is cheeku?
Chahal: He is there, pointing at one corner.
Mahi bhai:Oh okay.
Chahal : Where are you going? Won't you spent time with us?
Mahi bhai : I'll kiddo but now I want to talk to cheeku something important. You go, I'll come.
Mahi bhai :So?
Virat: Soo?
Mahi bhai : What happened? Muh phula k q baithe ho?
Virat : Why do you care? You go to your favourite kid.
Mahi bhai (rolling his eyes) : That's where I'm. Now tell what happened? Why are you glaring sam?
Virat (getting irritated) : See now also you are talking about him. He didn't noticed what mahi bhai's first line.
Mahi bhai : You were hitting in his over with so much force, you could have got hurt baccha.
Virat Suddenly he remembered that mahi bhai called him his favourite.
Virat : Wait. You called me your favorite.
Mahi bhai(acting as if he trying to recall) : When?
Virat ( Whining) :Just now.
Mahi bhai (sarcastically) : So you finally noticed.
Virat grinned and hugged him tightly, telling him how much he missed him.
Mahi bhai: Now tell me what happened?
Virat (fidgeting his fingers) : Umm.. He knew he can't lie to bhai. I thought, you know I didn't wanna thought but jaddu made me thought but I still tried but but...
Mahi bhai : Would you please elaborate what you thought? Because your thoughts are going over my head.
Virat : I thought we didn't meet each other for so many days and also couldn't spent time together and then sam became your game partner and you also fed him so I thought he is your favourite now 😭
Mahi bhai : Oh god! How could I forgot that.
Virat : You forgot what?
Mahi bhai : My bat.
Virat: Why do you need that now?
Mahi bhai : Beat you. How many times should I tell you that no one can take your place in my life. Everytime I explain you then you forget that. What do you think he barged to my room anytime of the day? He takes my permission for going somewhere? I scold him whenever he comes late, because I was worried for him? I can understand what's going in his mind just seeing his face? I call him with nick names?
Virat : Sorry bhai. I don't know how I came into jaddu's talk. I should have known that you love me the most (while hugging his mahi bhai). You know how worried I was?
Mahi bhai : Yes, I know how worried and jealous (while smirking) you were.
Virat : So? I have all the rights to be jealous, my mahi bhai is just mine,that's it. You know I thought so much about this that I got headache.
Mahi bhai (concerned) : Really? Wait I'll give you head massage.
Virat lied in mahi bhai's lap. Mahi bhai massaged his head while telling how good virat was playing, how proud was he when he saw his kiddo hitting flick shots. And Virat told him how happy he was watching mahi bhai playing and how he wanted to come and hug him when mahi bhai hit that huge six. Suddenly mahi bhai remembered something.
Mahi bhai : Well, cheeku we are in RCB dugout anybody can watch us like this, would you be okay if they call you kid? (teasing in the end)
Virat : Let them call whatever they wish. I'm your kid only na? I'm waking up from my favourite place, I wanna be with you like this only.
Mahi bhai couldn't help but smile seeing his cute cheeku, even he missed his cheeku, his demands, his whining, his smile everything. He never thought that he will get a place in the team when he debuted, but look at now he got a family. Yes they are his brothers, his family.
