The day finally came, the worse day of my life, my wedding day.
It sounds crazy but today was supposed to be the best day of my life, Being a princess, I never had the chance to find a man I love, my parents had to marry me off to someone rumored to be a beast
Million of questions ran through my mind......how will I cope?, Who knows what awaits me in this marriage?
I was too busy thinking that I didn't even notice when my hand maidens finished dressing my hair, some of them adorned me with jewelries.
After that, I was ready to go into the wedding hall. Few maids escorted me out of my room, I was restless , seriously I need to ask questions.
"Corrine, do you think I can really get married like this" I asked one of the maids besides me
She felt sorry for me
"Your majesty, it's just orders, you shouldn't disobey your parents"
"But I've been following orders since I was born, why can't I take this decision by myself, at least for once?"
" You will, your highness, when the time comes"
I just ended the conversation, there's nothing she can do to help me

I took a deep breath before the large golden doors opened and I stepped into the hall.
The wedding hall was beautifully decorated with diamonds and Crystals
It was crowded with people of different kingdoms.
Really, I'm not surprised by the way people stared at me, I'm really beautiful, but today, with the help of my maids, I dressed to slay.
My blonde hair was combed and arranged beautifully with silver pins that matched the color of my wedding gown.
My emerald green eyes were noticable due to the fact that they are shinning bright.
I moved further to my father's chamber, there I saw him.
My so called husband 🙄, although he's handsome like a Greek god, he has a very dangerous aura, I could feel something dark around him.
"My daughter"
"Yes father" I replied my dad
"This is your husband, one of the five Kings in the northern part of this dimension..................."
I wasn't even listening, I only nodded upon every pause he made
Soon he was done talking, we both left to our courtyard, about to leave.

I can't forget and leave without hugging her, she was already crying
"You don't have to cry mother, I'll be fine"
She dried her tears
"Make sure you visit me often, okay?"

I hugged her tightly

I entered the carriage that was already waiting for me.
