there's no way she did all this I mean back in high school I would often see her with a book and write stuff with it, but to be honest, I've never seen her draw plus she's the chairman of the Aihara Academy she doesn't have time to draw and come up with a design, but if she's the one who came up with these then I guess I don't know that much about mei.
"s-so you're the one who came up with the design?" yuzu asked surprised and nervous at the same time
"yes, but not really," Mei says calmly
yuzu looks at Au
"hey Au sorry but can I talk to mei privately," yuzu says as she has a little tone in her voice
"Sure no problem, I'll give u guys some privacy" as Au bowed down and left yuzu and mei

"why are mad" mei says with a cold tone of her voice
"I don't know you tell me yuzu say's aggressively you lied to my face telling me you didn't know why gramps is building a fucking house in Kyoto knowing that your the one who designs it," yuzu says with a bit of anger in her voice
Yuzu's mad I should've just told her sooner I hope she understands
"look I didn't know that grampa is planning to build a house in Kyoto, but I do I remember him asking me to sketch a home design because he wants to see my work, of course as a graduate student I'm eager to find opportunities to start my career, so make one and did few sketches and design and that was it I didn't know that grandpa is gonna use my sketch and I didn't know until we went here that he uses my sketch as a design in this house due to the outcome right now" Mei
that makes sense, but I'm having a hard time trusting you mei
"oh... I-I have to talk to Au about where are we staying" yuzu as she turns her back and walk away

as yuzu walks out she can't help but think about what just happened

yuzu spent a couple of minutes looking for Au until she finds her at a small garden

"sounds good thank you Au I'll be going, see you later" Yuzu
"see you later yuzu, wait before you go here are the keys for the guest house my apologize I forgot to give it to you and Ms mei earlier" Au
"oh thank you, Au and no need to apologize, I'll be going now" Yuzu
After a short conversation with Au yuzu walks her way out to find the guest house. After a couple of minutes of walking, yuzu arrived at her destination
Ah my legs are tired from walking I should've taken the escort Au was right this is far
As yuzu was walking towards she saw mei sitting at the porch
"Mei what are you doing outside" Yuzu
"Oh I was waiting for you because I don't have the key" Mei

"How long have you been waiting here" Yuzu as she was unlocking the door
"oh not that long, I just came here I was busy at the house earlier I didn't even realize that it's almost dawn" Mei
"y-yeah time goes so fast" Yuzu as she successfully unlocks the door and turns her back to face mei how did you get here so fast?

"right" As Yuzu turns her back and opens the door
"our bags are inside, why not we unload our stuff first and after I'll cook us some dinner" Yuzu

Yuzu grabs her bags and went to the vacant room to unload her stuff, she didn't take that long to unload her stuff the way she expected. After she unloads her bags she went to the kitchen to cook some dinner luckily there were food supplies in the fridge she was worried that the fridge is empty, luckily Au put some supplies a day before they arrived.
As for Mei she finishes unloading her stuff which took her a little longer than she expected. She decided to go downstairs to the kitchen to help yuzu cook dinner
"oh Mei just a couple more minutes and I'm done" Yuzu
"Is there anything I can help you with" Mei
"uh yeah sure, why don't you wash those tomatoes and after slice them into thin circles" Yuzu
Mei nods and follows yuzu's orders and proceeds to wash the tomatoes and cut them into thin circles.
As mei was cutting the tomatoes yuzu can't help but notice and glance mei struggling with a knife. At first, yuzu tried to ignore it, but couldn't help it at the same time because she was worried mei might hurt and cut herself.
"Hey mei do you need any assistance?" Yuzu
"no, it's alright go back to what you are doing" Mei
"look your gonna hurt yourself if you keep on doing that, here I'll show how it's done"yuzu as she went to mei's back and grabbed her hand with the knife as she guided mei to cut the tomatoes
As yuzu guides mei she can't help but smell mei's scent
she smells so good she smells like citrus with floral and mint, also her hands are soft too, what no focus yuzu, you're just guiding her that way she doesn't hurt herself

"There that's how you cut a tomato as yuzu let go of Mei's hand ask me anything if you need help or question alright?" Yuzu as she walks out and goes back to what she was doing
"y-yeah thanks" Mei
While yuzu's cooking mei can't help but to stare and admire yuzu while she was preparing for their meal. Even though she already saw yuzu cooking way back then, she notices that yuzu's cooking skills have changed and improved. The way she handles everything in the kitchen is like she's in the restaurant working well obviously she works there. After a couple of minutes, yuzu finishes cooking while mei is putting plates and other utensils on the table. The dinner was silent all you can hear was the sound of plates and utensils, it didn't take them to finish eating dinner. None of them even try to break the silence.
After they just finished eating to both of them clean up the dining table, Yuzu's the one washing the plates while Mei is drying it with a towel
"So how was the dinner" Yuzu as she starts the conversation to break the silence because it's getting awkward
"It was okay," Mei says coldly
of course, typical mei, is always the one-sentence person when you ask them a question never ask the same questions back-.
"How about you, how was dinner" Mei

"It's alright, no worries there's nothing to be apologizing for Yuzu as she turns off the faucet I'm going upstairs now to shower you finish what you are doing and be careful," Yuzu said coldly and turns her back and walk out to went upstairs.

Authors Note Heyyy ik ik I've been MIA for the past few months;-; I'm sorry yall a lot of things happened but in all summary of what just happened the one thing I wanna announced is that I'm in a relationship! and got a new job which I both like and dislike at the same.
