To start, this work is super self indulgent, and not really set in any movie's plot. Think of it as it's independent thing, with heavy influences from both the Gotham and Harley Quinn TV show, as well as the Nolanverse movies! This story will handle dark/mature topics, but if there is something major I will absolutely have content warnings in the beginning of the chapter. Just as a blanket statement warning though, this is a friend group consisting of a bunch of morally-gray criminals doing weird shit ( as they should <3 )
Also, I just don't want Joker in this. This is a Joker-Free safe space. He'll totally be mentioned, but he is not a major player in this fic. Batman is either still figuring himself out or dealing with other folk most of the time, too.
