She had cuddled with Sunoo for five hours straight.
Her arm was numb, her feet were very very hot, and she almost felt like she would pass out again from the heat that emanated from his sleeping body.
As soon as they got home from the hospital, he took her to the room and started cuddling her, falling asleep instantly. You could almost think that he was the one who had been put into the hospital from exhaustion instead of Eunsae.
"Thunoo", she whined, trying to get his body away form her. He whined too, half asleep, and turned around while drool dripped from his mouth. "You're so disgusting".
"M'not", he murmured still asleep. Sunoo could be half dead but if you ever said he was something else than adorable or cute, he would come back to life to fight you.
"I can't feel my pinky", she groaned. He giggled still half asleep. "Get off!", she pushed him off the bed, falling with a thump and a loud whimper.
"Oh, my god. I think you've killed me", he said, and she laughed it off and wiggled herself out of the covers. The boys were still at practice, and Sunoo said he would be cooking.
But he had slept for 5 hours.
He fell asleep on the floor, so she put the covers on him and walked towards the kitchen. She took some instant ramyeon with her and started boiling water. She called the nearest donut place, and asked for 24 donuts to be delivered home.
She knew the boys would be hungry as hell, so she also asked for ice-cream and french fries.
She cooked the ramyeon and put the lid on the pot, turning the fire off. The donuts and other food arrived quickly, so she placed them on plates and the ice creams on the fridge.
After the boys got home, hugging her tightly and taking turns to shower, they all sat at the table and ate silently. It almost felt as if they didn't want to talk, and it made her quite uncomfortable. She knew they all wanted to say something (she had already been in a situation like this where they wanted to talk about her trauma but didn't).
So she sighed, put her chopsticks down, and straightened her hair with her hands.
"I'm sorry", she said.
The silence became more suffocating and she diverted her eyes from the boys.
"I've been nothing but a burden, I'm really sorry, you guys", she whispered, feeling how her eyes filled with tears suddenly. "But I promise that I'm gonna work on getting better. I'll work on my traumas, and on my self esteem. I don't want to keep you from being the best, so I will work on being better for you", she sighed and her tears fell on her cheeks, rolling softly on her skin.
"You've never been a burden, Moonie", Heeseung stated. "You're like everything we knew we needed but never realized we did. And now that you're here, I can't imagine how our life– how this band would work without you", he smiled.
"Thank you. But still, sometimes I feel like every little thing that I do, I can't do it correctly, and it's frustrating".
"You're perfect just like that, Eunsae", Jay spoke up. He assumed it was his job –as second eldest– to be there for his dongsaeng. "We all compliment each other very well, and I know you're happier than before because I can see it in your eyes".
"I feel like all you do is say sorry, and you really have nothing to be sorry about, Moonie", Sunoo just smiled widely at her.
"Yeah, little one", Sunghoon spoke up, and the pet name almost gave her a heart attack. "You're actually over stressing yourself, and it's not healthy. We all want what's best for the team, just like you, and right now, that is resting".
"So we're actually going back to Jeju", Jungwon stated, a glimpse of doubt on his voice. Her heart made a jump.
But this time it wasn't fear, it was excitement. She wanted to prove herself that she was okay, and that her trauma wasn't there anymore. She was healed, inside out.
The only thing that she needed to work on now, was her self doubt.
Yeah, that wasn't going to be hard at all...
