We were now on the stage and I looked back at my two favourite boys and smiled brightly at them as they took their suit jackets off and rolled up their sleeves for more mobility.
They were really handsome tonight.
I looked back out and seen some people coming through the big doors. Mitchell, Uncle Remus, Mr and Mrs Weasley and I seen Padfoot standing at my brother’s feet wagging his tail. They all walked over and greeted Dumbledore and Minnie who were smiling brightly at them before they all turned to us.
Mitchel waved at me and I smiled although I did feel a bit upset that dad couldn’t be here. I seen Snape walk over to them and be civil. He shook my brothers, Remus’s and Mr wesley’s hand and gave molly a small smile before looking down at the dog, to which he just nodded. Pretty sure I seen it nod back, I was quite glad they were being civil.
The twins started playing and soon I joined in singing.

I seen all our friends and my brothers all dancing around each other with their dates happy as ever. I looked out where I last seen Mitchel with a bright smile on his face while clapping and cheering, I seen Remus laughing at Padfoot who was bouncing up and down with the song. I seen Mr and Mrs Weasley looking lovingly at the twins.

While the twins were playing their instrumental I looked back and watched them. They both looked to be in their element and it made me happy that we agreed to this. I turned back around and started signing again,

I took a big breath and turned to the twins after they stopped playing, I nodded at them as we all took a drink and listened to the crowd cheering. It was like nothing I’ve ever experienced, it made me feel normal again, or as close I can get to normal. I looked over and seen Mitchel, Uncle Remus and Mr and Mrs Weasley cheering loudly, Padfoot was still jumping up and down and his tail was going mental, my dad had a small smile on his face and was clapping along with Minnie and Dumbledore. I looked back to see the twins had noticed that their parents were there and they looked at me. Fred shot me questionably eyebrow raise as if asking me if I invited them. To which I nodded, he mouthed a thank you and turned to George to get ready for the next song.
This song wasn’t intense as the last one but it was a lot more difficult for me since I had to deal with a lot of high notes which I have only managed to do once so I was very nervous. The crowd was still cheering and I’m sure I heard some wolf whistles. I turned around and seen that it was Bekki who done it. She shot me a wink which made me laugh a lot.
The twins began playing their instruments as I took a breath and began singing,

The song was going good so far and those weren’t even the high notes but I still aced them. I turned around and seen the twins sending me a reassuring smile because they obviously knew I was nervous.

I took a breath and got ready for the big one and I think people seen that I was nervous because I seen a lot of reassuring smiles which calmed me down a bit.

I did it, I actually did it. The cheers got louder and it almost made me want to cry. The last big one was coming up and it made me really excited.

We did it, I turned around to the twins and watched them stop playing the instruments. I heard the crowd of student and teachers go crazy. I turned around with a bright smile on my face. I brought my hands up to my mouth in shock and just looked at all of my friends and family and now extended family and it made me feel less alone.
After our performance, there was a slow song starting to play conducted by professor Flitwick as me, Fred and George went backstage to calm down and talking about how good that was.
“That was amazing” I said as I took deep breaths. The twins nodded in agreement and they both pulled me into a big hug.
“That was so fun but we are going to go and get Angie and Alicia. You going to be okay?” Fred asked me and I just nodded.
They were about to walk away when some people came up to us.
“Can we speak with you three?” one of them asked, he was quite a tall guy, not as tall as the twins but still tall. I felt like I knew who they were but I couldn’t place it.
“Yeah, sure” I said and stood between the twins.
“So we are the weird sisters” he said and that’s when it clicked as to why I recognized them, I had seen them in the papers before.
“Holy shit” I said and brought my hand up to my mouth “sorry” I laughed with them and the lead singer just shook his head and laughed.
“Quite alright Davina” he said
“Holy shit you know my name” I was still in shock, I absolutely loved them and they knew who I was.
“Yes we do and we know you two as well Fred and George” the drummer said as he pointed to the twins. I looked up to see that the twins were stood there in shock and not saying anything.
I decided to speak up since they obviously couldn’t,
“We love your guys music, it’s really something else” I told them to which they smiled.
“Thanks little one” the guitarist said, I wasn’t even going to call him out for that name. They could call me whatever they wanted and I would still love them.
“So what we wanted to say was that, we really like your stuff. We know its covers but it was really good.” I smiled even bigger if it was possibly “I mean you drumming skills are amazing” he said to George who seemed to come out of his daze.
“Thank you” was all he managed to say.
“And your guitar skills are unmatched young man” He said to Fred and patted him on the arm, Fred seemed to be stuck in his daze but his smile got bigger and he just nodded.
“And you” he said pointing to me “you have a good set of pipes on you”
“Thank you so much, that means a lot” I told them.
“There is something we wanted to let you know” the drummer told us.
“We have an offer” the guitarist spoke up
“now we know that you two are graduating next year” the lead singer said to the twins before looking down at me “and we know you have a few more years but” he paused and looked to the other two “we were wondering after you all graduated if you would like to come work with us and maybe we can set up a tour”
Now I was the one in shock, they can’t actually believe we are that good, that ridiculous.
“Are you serious?” Fred asked them, it seemed that, that broke him out his daze. They just nodded and handed me a bit of parchment.
“it’s got all out details on it and its enchanted so if it changes over the years then you’ll always be able to get in touch. Once you’ve graduated just owl us and let us know” he told us to which we just nodded.
“Well we’ve got another 20 minutes before we are on so we are going to go prepare” they said good bye and walked away. I steppe forward and turned to the twins still looking down at the parchment.
I screamed in excitement so loud I’m sure they heard it over the music in the hall. I began jumping up and down in excited and jumped up and hugged the twins who just kept smiling bright.
“We have to tell them” I told the twins. They nodded and we ran out into the hall and grabbed everyone.
About 5 minutes later me Fred and George were standing outside the hall with my dad, Mitchel who was holding Caleb, Uncle Remus, Uncle Sirius who was now in human form, Mr and Mrs Weasley, Alec, Connor, Cedric, Ron, Ginny, Hermione, Bekki, Harry, Poppy, Minnie and Dumbledore.
“We have great news” I said and they all looked at us confused.
“The weird sisters came up to us when we got backstage” Fred said and their faces got really happy
“They said we were really good” George said and I began bouncing up and down again in excitement and everyone looked at me weirdly
“They offered to work and go on tour with is once we all graduate” the three of us shouted and began jumping up and down in excitement. I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face and it was making me really happy.
“Are you serious?” they all asked.
“No he’s Sirius” me and the twins said in unison and pointed to uncle Sirius who was just laughing wildly because that was what he always used to say.
“Congratulations”
“So proud of you all”
“Well done guys”
That was a few of the praises and congrats that I heard. I couldn’t stand still I was just bouncing up and down in excitement. I turned to the twins who picked me up and the three of us hugged as tightly as possibly.
I seen a flash go off from behind and in front of us. I looked up and seen Colin waving at me with his camera then I turned around and seen Dumbledore with another one.
The twins let me down and just kept jumping up and down because I couldn’t contain my excitement. I seen more flashes go off but I didn’t care because it means I have memories forever.
I took Caleb from Mitchel and gave him a kiss on his head and smiled down at him “your mumma is gonna be famous” I whispered to him. He was still sleeping so I didn’t want to disturb him.
For the next 10 minutes we got photos taken with all of us. There was some with my brothers and then one with the twins then the girls and then we brought out Neville, Dean and Seamus and we got a big group picture. I even got one with Minnie and then uncle Remus and Uncle Sirius and then one with my dad and so many more.
I waved my hand over the pile and they vanished and I hoped they went into my room.
“I see you’ve got the hang of your powers then” Mitchel asked me as he was slowly bouncing Caleb up and down to keep him asleep.
“Oh yeah. I figured out more too” I told them.
“Since when” my dad asked me, I just smiled at him because I completely forgot to tell everyone.
“well along with speaking to snakes and my witchy-woo things” I said as I wiggled my fingers indicating to my other powers “and the floating, I can now had teleporting things, which I just done to the pictures and I can also heal myself in like 10 minutes and me and the girls figured out I can heal other people” I told them like it was nothing. “Oh and my eyes change to red when I use them, look” I used my powers and they all looked at my wyes to see that they were glowing red.
“Wicked” the twins said in unison which made me laugh.
“Okay you guys should probably head back in” Remus said to which we all nodded and went to go in.
“Davina, Alec and Connor can we speak to you though?” Mitchel asked us. We said we’d meet everyone inside in a couple minutes.
“What’s up buttercup?” I asked Mitchel and he just smiled at me.
“So we have decided that it will be best if we moved out of the burrow. It’s not got enough room for all of us” Mitchel must have noticed all our faces because he begun to reassure us “but don’t worry we’ve already found a place big enough for all of us”
“Where is it” I asked him scared we would have to move far away again.
“You’ll be moving in with me” Uncle Sirius spoke up. I smile brightly at him and he smiled back.
“Well talk about it when you come back after summer but you can’t tell anyone and I mean anyone. You guys go enjoy your night” we all hugged and went to walk back in.
“Oh and guys” Mitchel stopped us. “You all look really nice” we smiled at him before walking back in.
I watched as everyone danced with their dates and they still couldn’t wipe the smile off their faces, it was good to know things were okay the now.
I had 2 more songs to sing before I could go off and enjoy my night. I didn’t need to worry about Caleb because Poppy was looking after him tonight which means I get a long lie after the after party and I get a full night’s sleep hopefully.
I was backstage with the twins going to do one last song with them for the night, we hugged one more time and walked onto the stage.
I walked up to the microphone and spoke into it “Due to us three just getting really good news we’ve decided to do one more song for you guys” there were small cheers as I looked back at the twins to see if they were ready.
They start playing and I get ready.

I stopped signing and watched the twins paly the rest of the song, I really do love these boys. We got cheers and applause. I decided to stay up and sing one more slow song before I joined my friends. I walked over to the twins as they were putting their things down.
“You boys go dance with your dates I’m going to sing one more song then I’ll come down” they both nodded and kissed my forehead, before they left I stopped them “save me a dance?” I asked them.
“Course” they said. I walked back up to the mic and looked over at everyone.
“Right this is my last song because I have been promised 2 dances which I will take by the way” I said as I pointed to the twins who just laughed. “So grab your partners and make this a night to remember."
I watched as everyone waited for the music to begin

I took a deep breath as listened to the last instrumental. This was the song people wanted me to sing at my dad’s funeral but couldn’t do it. I want to do it the now and show people that I’m strong enough to get through the song.
I took another breath and then looked up to see my friends and family staring at me with small smiles on their faces. My brothers and uncles had tears in their eyes and the rest just look proud of me.
I smiled and carefully wiped under my eyes to rid of the tears that fell, they begun to clap and it made me smile more as I walked off the stage. I walked down to the dance floor and over to the drinks table to try and calm down my throat, it turns out singing and crying is difficult.
“Dad would have been proud” I turned around to see my brothers standing behind me with smiles on their faces.
“He would be of all of us” I sighed and looked down “I just wish he was here to see it” I looked up and seen Mitchel open his arms, me and my brothers walked over and we had a big group hug.
“He’s watching over us all. We’ll be okay” Mitchel says, we all nod and walk out the group hug.
I hear someone clear their throat behind me, I turn around and see Fred standing there “I believe I owe you a dance M’lady” he bows and hold out his hand. I laugh and take his hand “of course my lord” we both laugh and walk away. I look behind and see my brothers smiling at us and I wave to them before Fred spins me round when we get to the middle of the dance floor.
It’s a slow song on so we have time to talk and dance without being bumped into.
“I’m really proud of you Davis, you’re the embodiment of a true gryffindor” he tells me as we spin around like we did when we were practicing. I give him a confused look so he continues “you are the most courageous, brave and determined person I know. Not a lot of people would be able to survive all you’ve been through”
“but you forget dear Fredrick, I gave up. That’s not brave, that’s weak. So your point is wrong” I tell him a she lifts me up and spins me around still like I weigh nothing.
“wrong.” He says as he sets me back down “that does not make you weak, it makes you human. You may have believed you had given up but if you truly wanted to you wouldn’t have come back to us. So as I said determined” he smiled down at me and I was about to say something else but then he spun me around into another person.
“George!” I exclaimed as he caught me with a smile.
“Short stack” he replied as we begun swaying against each other “I owed you a dance so I’m doing my duty as one of your knights in shining armour”
I smiled at him as we kept dancing, we didn’t talk like me and Fred did we just danced together and joined the quiet.
“May I have this dance M’lady” I heard someone say from behind me. I looked and seen a still very pink haired lee behind me. “Of course you may, I’ll see you later Georgie” I gave him a kiss on the cheek and started dancing with lee.
“So how have you been?” he asked me “I’ve barley seen you since the first task”
“I know I’ve been really busy, helping Harry, looking after Caleb. Making sure everyone keeps their sanity”
“Discovering your feelings for Fred” he cuts me off and raises his eyebrow. I looked at him with a shocked expression “don’t deny it, I see the way you look at him, everyone does. Just not him” I nod a little and look down.
“Hey no being sad tonight. You’re too gorgeous to look sad” he tells me as he lifts my chin up. I smile at him and hug him as we keep swaying. He spins me around and I bump into another person who appeared to be waiting.
“You look very beautiful little one” Cedric says to me as he begins dancing with me. I hug him tightly since it’s been a while since we’ve hung out.
“Did you all plan this or something?” I ask as I look up to see him laughing a little.
“Little bit but we’ve all missed you little one” I nod and keep hugging him while we dance. “I’ve missed you too” I say into his chest. We don’t talk as the dance continues we just stand nad sway enjoying the moment.
It didn’t last long before I'm spun into another person.
“Alec!” I hug him tightly and he hugs me back.
“hey titch, having a good night?” he asks me as we dance like we used to when we were younger.
“yeah, you?” I ask him
He nods but it seems forced, I know why hes not good but I don’t want to brign it up with everyone around us all “you know I’ve missed you boys. Why don’t we have a weeks sleepover with Cedric in the summer just us like old times before you go off into the bug bad world?” I ask him.
“that sounds lovely titch” he pulls me closer and we keep dancing until he spins me to another person.
“Connor, how’s you night?” I ask him as he spins me around.
“Mines is good. Can’t say the same for those two” he says gesturing to them.
“Yeah I know, it might take them a while but they’ll get there” I tell him to which he nods.
“You look really grown up tonight titch” he tells me. I thank him as we keep dancing.
“Am I going to be spun into anyone else soon?” I ask him as we both laugh.
“No one else titch, you can take a break” he tells me
“Oh thank merlin my feet are killing me” we both laugh and the song soon ends. I hug him and walk over to where Harry and Ron are sitting. I sit in between them as the weird sisters come up on the stage.
“What’s wrong with you two?” I ask them “oh wait no, I know. You both waited too long to ask the person you actually wanted?” I questioned them, they both nodded and looked back at the group of people dancing. I sat there giving my feet a rest until I see someone walk over to the three of us.
“what do you want Malfoy?” Ron asks as he sits up striahgter as though hes a threat.
“Ron leave it” he just sits back down so I look at Malfoy to see what he wants.
“want to dance?” he asks me. I nod and take his hand where he leads me over to his friends are.
“hey guys” I say cheerily to them. Most of them are nice and say hi back apart form one but I just ignore her and start dancing to the weird sisters with the group of slytherins. I was enjoying myself until someone grabs my hadn and pulls me away.
“What the hell?” I ask as I spin around and see Seamus, Dean and Neville. “oh hi guys” I hug the three of them as they take me over to where there was a big group of gryffindors dancing.
Mostly our group apart form Ron and Harry who are still sulking.
“Davis, where you been?” Fred asks me over the loud music.
“found her in the snake pit” Seamus shouts to him over the music.
Fred raiases an eyebrow at me and I just laugh and wink at him. He can think what he wants, I just want to dance. I made my way over to Bekki and Hermione and their dates,
“Hey guys ive missed you all night” I tell them. The three of us hug and keep dancing.
“Well you have been up there most the time” Bekki says as she points to the stage to which I just shrug and keep dancing.
We made our way up the front and I look up to see the singer looking down at me. I wave to him and he waves back, I just keep dancing and minding my own business until someone taps me on my shoulder. I turn around to see the twins. I look at them confused till the point to the stage, the lead singer has his hand out for me to come up.
I nod and turn to the twins for them to help me up, Fred just laughs and turns me around, we walk over to the stage and I grab the singers hand as Fred grabs my waist and lifts me up. I turn around and mouth a thank you to him. He just nods at me and goes back to his dancing.
I began singing with the weird sisters and it was probably the best moment of my life and I really hope someone caught it on camera. I think they did because I’ve seen Colin go around the hall all night with his camera taking pictures for everyone.
Soon the song ends and the weird sisters take a break so I go back down to my friends and see that Hermion is over by the two still sulking boys except they don’t have their dates with them anymore. I just sigh and walk over to them to see Hermione walking away.
“you two owe me a dance” I tell them. They just look up at me as if I have two heads. “c’mon your like my brothers and ive already danced with everyone else just not you two” a slow song came on and I grabbed Ron’s hadn first since he seemed to need cheering up more.
He tries to get away but as he knows im surprisingly strong.
“c’mon Ronald, I know you can dance” I tell him as we get to the dance floor. He just gives up and complies, we just stand there dancing in silence so I decide to speak up “when will you tell her you like her?” I ask him.
“its not that I don’t want to D, its just difficult” he tells me. I nod and we just go abck to dancing until the song changes and we wlak back to Harry.
He dosnt even try to fight it when I take his hand and guide him up.
“having fun?” I aks him as we are halfway through the song. He just nods but dosnt say anything. “do you actually like Cho or are you thinking of someone else I’ve known you for 4 years Harry you cant hide things from me”
He just sighs and I know my answer “its difficult, you know?” I nod at his question as we keep on dancing.
