My Drug
The urge to cut
Is so strong
The need to feel the pain
I need it to go on
The longing to see the ruby red blood
It is my drug
Life that once held meaning
Is now so cold and empty
How do I go on with the emptiness
Eating at my soul devouring all that I am
All that I once was is gone never to return.
