At home economics the girls where talking about how prince Yuki was strange. He really did push a girl that was trying to hug him when she confessed her love to Yuki. Y/N wasn't actually really listening she was to focused on the food she had prepared for her friend. Being a plus anima was a secret for her friends. But Hanajima could sense her strange plus anima vibes. And it actually gave her headaches from time to time when Y/N gets to pissed of or distressed. The e/c girl kept on thinking she should really stay away from her for Hanajima's safety. But Hanajima didn't want to because well Y/N was her friend and loved her like a sister. When Hanajima talked about Yuki's waves she got interested and listened intently. The home economics teacher then came in and told them to stop talking and get to work. Y/N and Tohru always did the cooking so they were off the hook. The day passed by and the Honda siblings went to work. But not after walking with Yuki where they learned about him hating cats. Yuki was real concerned about Tohru's health just as much as Y/N was. They had to work extra hard in order to maintain food for themselves. After all they didn't want to bother their grandpa. He was the only one that truly accepted Y/N in the Honda family. Most of Tohru's family really despised than outsider like her was given the family's last name. Y/N didn't actually care though at least that's what she told herself. But deep down the cursed girl wanted to not be considered a pest. She really tried to prove to them that she was worth it so she started working along with Tohru. Doing her best because in the end Tohru won't be there forever. And that really hurt her because she was alone in this world. At least Tohru could've had Kyoko but after her death Y/N wanted not more than to protect her adoptive sister. She promised Kyoko...that's a promise she wouldn't break. At first Y/N was a empty shell when she heard the news about the car crash. She couldn't eat, she couldn't sleep having constant nigtmares. The
e/c girl lost both of her mother's for god sakes. How could life be so cruel! But then she noticed how selfish she was being. Kyoko was Tohru's mother from the beginning and now she lost her. Just like she lost her mother Minami. Y/N started being more protective of Tohru since that day. Afraid of losing the piece of happiness she has.
"Hey Tohru stop running, your gonna fall" Y/N states cleaning the buildings walls worried.
"Don't worry about me Y/N, you know how much I like cleaning!" She giggles and Y/N just rolls her eyes smiling.
"You are weird you know that, right?" The h/c haired girl sighs.
"Yep sis!"Tohru cleans fast.
"Our jobs have gotten so much easier since the new young employees were contracted" a woman drinks tea while talking to her friend.
"You're right"the other one nods while she sees Y/N pick up heavy boxes.
Timeskip*
"Hey Y/N you can put me down you know. I told you I was ok" The brunette says while looking tired. The crow plus anima was carrying her in a piggy back ride.
"You look more tired than me. I told you to rest but you won't listen" Y/N pouts frustrated then she sees the tent.
After that the girls entered their home Y/N was laying in the tent singing a catchy tune. Tohru looks at her happily and tells her that she was going to wash her face in the river. But then when she is almost out she hears someone laughing hysterically.
"Tohru what's happening are you ok?!" Y/N says kinda scared fearing there was a lunatic in the woods.
"It's not even that funny" Yuki sighs.
Sohma house*
"I thought something was strange. The Sohmas own all the land in this area" the light gray haired boy says while the two girls have their head down. Shigure was just giggling trying to calm himself down.
"Um would it be ok if we live there just a little." Tohru asks breathing heavily.
"We will leave once the renovations are over. We swear, please." Y/N pleadingly finishes her sentence noting how Tohru looked flustered.
"We don't have a lot of money but we'll pay" Tohru looks down again.
"That's a dangerous spot the cliffs aren't to stable and not two mention that two young girls can't spend months living in a tent" Shigure says concerned.
"No it's fine we are going to be ok Y/N can protect us! We are also used to the slugs!" Tohru stands up determined. "We promise we have the strength and willpower to sit this through. So please just..." She falls down in a sitting position while Y/N looks at her worried while touching her forehead.
"Tohru I told you weren't ok! Please hurry Sohma my sister is sick she needs an ice pack" She screams hyperventilating while looking at them.
"As you wish, calm down miss Y/N she's going to be ok. Though getting to it may take a while" Shigure reassured her while opening the kitchen doors where a lot of thrash was seen.
"It's a toxic jungle. " Tohru exclaims.
"And you say we can't survive in the forest. I can't get how you have managed to survive with that toxic jungle in your house"
Y/N mumbles surprised.
"Nice analogy Tohru" He says happy but then turns serious when he hears howling. "There see what did I just tell you part of the cliff just crumbled"
"What it did? But how can you tell?" Y/N and Tohru say in unison. While Yuki gets up from his spot.
"Oh I like to call it. My animal instinct" The man states thinking.
"Enough joking do you know exactly which part of the cliff collapsed?" Yuki says while getting a first aid kit.
"How awful..." the brunette states while Y/N starts pacing back and forth.
"Surely it was not near our tent though.." The crow plus anima says.
"Don't be silly it couldn't possibly be there" Tohru says laughing nervously along with Shigure and Y/N
In the collapsed area*
"I think I jinxed it.."The e/c eyed girl states guilty.
"Wait a seck mom's picture is in there!" Tohru says shocked while Y/N realises it too but then screams.
"And my goggles! They are the only thing I got left from her" She yells while both girls go crazy trying to dig out their important things.
"Calm down girls!" Yuki grabs Tohru and Shigure grabs Y/N while she protests trying to help Tohru seeing she was the only one capable to do it.
"But she's still in there. She's trapped...I have to get her out she can't breath..." The brown eyed girl whimpers.
"Let go of me Mr. Sohma!" Y/N yells desperate, "Tohru she needs that picture" She falls down shocked feeling her plus anima form about to appear while she forcibly stops it panting. "I have to help Tohru...she's my sister" Shigure places a hand on Y/N's head to try and soothe her.
"Calm down kid, why don't we come back in the morning when there's more light. What if something happens to the both of you? I'd tell, your mom wouldn't want you to get hurt" Shigure says while ruffling Y/N's hair and the girl looks back at Tohru and nods sadly. Knowing how she almost transformed in front of them. When Tohru is suffering she gets desperate and angry at herself.
At their house*
Tohru was laying at the floor mat,(Don't know what there called but it's kinda like a bed) while
Y/N was holding her sister's hand.
"I'm sorry it looks like we lost our home again.." The sick girl whispers while she looks at Y/N
sadly.
"It's alright I'm used to it.." Y/N looks to the other side of the room still holding her hand.
Tohru started telling Shigure how they have suffered worse things and are still standing. She rants about their life leaving the part of Y/N being adopted. Y/N and Tohru's regret was not getting to say to Kyoko. "See you when you get back". They were to tired that day because the girls studied the whole night. Maybe just maybe...fate would have been different. At least is what Y/N thinks. The girl slowly falls asleep leaving Shigure and Y/N alone.
"You can sleep by her side if you want but I can't risk you getting sick miss Honda. You can sleep on the living room if you wan't" Shigure says worried.
"It's fine sir besides I'd rather not leave her side" Y/N lays down beside her sister and smiles warmly. "It's been a long day thanks for helping her...Sweet dreams Mr. Shigure" She closes her eyes with visible tiredness.
Morning*
When they wake up they quickly open the door to go out and save the photo, and goggles.
"Good morning. Are you feeling better?"
"Uh yes yes!" Tohru moves her arms frantically while Yuki hands her the photo of her mom and hands Y/N's goggles to the crow girl.
"I think I got all the of your things too but could you check and see?" Yuki leaves the bags on the floor.
"No way you mean you moved all the dirt by yourself?!" Y/N asks while looking at him shocked.
"No of course not I couldn't do that" The boy says.
"But then how you do it?"Tohru asks curious.
"I can't tell you, well I will just bring your things upstairs. I know the house is a mess but we do have a spare room you two could share on the second floor. You can stay here until the renovations on your grandpa's house are over"he grabs the girls stuff and smiles.
"Kaa we can't do that!"Tohru says frustrated.
"The bedrooms doors all have locks on them" Yuki states to make them feel comfortable.
"She didn't mean is that we just don't wanna be a burden Sohma" Y/N says awkwardly while running her hand on her hair.
Shigure then came in surprising the girls. They then talked about how the girls could go clean the house and do chores paying them with that since the house needed help. When they walked up the stairs and opened the rooms door. The girl noticed how it hasn't been used in years.
"Like I thought it's a little stuffy in here. I'll open a window." He does that.
"Can I risk it? What if I turn into a plus anima by accident. I don't want them to think I am a freak..what if they..." She thinks to herself when she suddenly hears the roof creak.
"I'll get a vacuum" Shigure walks out.
After that the ceiling creaks and breaks while Y/N stands in front of Tohru protecting her from harms way.
"Yo are you ready for a beating. Let's do this." An oranged haired boy says while stretching his shoulders.
"Why can't you accept already, your to weak to beat me." Yuki says with ego.
"Think so huh, well to bad for you I'm not the same fighter I was back then!" The orange haired boy cracks his fingers while preparing to strike. "I'll show you!"
"Wait it's to dangerous in here!"
Y/N trips on wood and accidentally embraces the boy while falling. A cloud of smoke appears and Y/N feels a tiny body in her hands. While Yuki and Tohru looked at her surprised.
"Hey Yuki was that Kyo's voice I heard" Shigure enters the room while Yuki looks at Kyo.
"I'm so sorry are you ok boy?!"
Y/N screams while she sees a tiny orange cat in her hands."Omg I turned him into a cat while falling over. Am I that cursed?!" She yells scared.
"Wait what did you just say" Yuki asks bewildered.
"Y/N don't be silly we must call a doctor or eh a veterinarian. Come on guys! " She runs everywhere while Yuki and Shigure stand next to each other.
"Well this is awkward" Shigure states.
"We have to hurry then!" The crow girl runs fast but then a piece of ceiling falls down knocking her down. Then two other puffs of smoke appear revealing a dog and a rat.
"What the heck is going on in here?!" Y/N stares at them surprised while Tohru picks her up.
