My phone wouldn't stop going off. I had 67 texts from Anna, all saying she was sorry and that she wanted forgiveness. I had 27 texts from other people calling me a freak, bitch, faggot, and so on. My mum was pissed off because I've been skipping school and my brother won't talk to me because he apparently "doesn't know me" my phone rang. Caller ID: unknown
I sighed and answered. "Kacey Melworth here"
The person replied " go kill yourself freak!!!"
I heard stifled laughter in the background
"No thank you" I said
" well leave then, either way at least we won't have to see your face anymore!" I ended the call with a sigh. My phone came through with another call. Anna Hartford (backstabber) . I rejected it.
I can't do this anymore!!" I screamed, crying into my pillow. "I just don't understand this!! Why?" I jumped at the knock on my bedroom door.
"Kacey?" It was my mum. "Kacey, darling, I know you love your music and especially "The Trenches" but please can you turn it down?? We can all hear it clearly throughout the house and some of us have a more refined taste in music"
"Oh so now you're mad at me for liking rock music too!?" I yelled at her. "Fine, I'll turn it down! Just don't expect to see my face at the dinner table." My mum sighed and went downstairs. I couldn't do this anymore. I grabbed a bottle of water and put it into my rucksack amongst the other things in there. I slipped it onto my back and snuck out if my bedroom window. Heading for the woods...
