I think in a way, we all feel like Ashido
I met with your mother just now, she's still heartbroken, but doing better than before
She told me that it was really hard for her, her parents had just passed and now you, it was unbearable
But she's strong, we both know that
She tried to discern her feelings and I thought it was interesting
She said, she hasn't gotten over you, and she never will, but she's come to terms with the fact that you've left and won't dwell on it anymore, because she doesn't want to be in pain. You were a very important person to her, but she's going to stop mourning and continue with her life

Maybe it's just that she's been through this before
Either way, I don't think the rest of us will be able to accept the fact that you've left anytime soon
