It's already December, the twins' birthday is just right around the corner.
Downstairs apartment *knock knock
Yena: Yena is here.... annyeonghaseyo
Kura: oh Yenayah, the kids are upstairs.
Yena: yes auntie
Chaeyeon: are you ok?
Yena: can I stay over tonight?
Chaekura looked at each other
Kura: yes of course sweetie.
Chaeyeon: is there a problem?
Yena: nothing
Yena went straight to the kitchen to get something to eat. Kura approached her niece and asked her if she wants to hangout with her.
Kura: wanna go to the mall with me? There's this new VR game we just release, you wanna try that?
Yena: ok
While on the way to the mall, Yena explained why she suddenly appeared in their apartment. Apparently, Yena is feeling jealous of everyone upstairs.
Yena: me, chaewonie and Yuri used to hangout every weekend, we would play games, and go out to eat.
Yena: but now, all Yuri talks about is auntie Hyewon this.. auntie Hyewon that.
Kura: why don't you hangout with your sister.
Yena: she's always with auntie Minju. They even went to the beach without me.
Kura: how about your Eunbi omma
Yena: she likes Nako. Last week I told omma that there's no more ice cream in the freezer, she said she'll buy it next time. But when Nako went upstairs the other day, omma went out quickly to buy her ice cream. She even borrowed a takoyaki machine so she could make takoyaki with Nako. 😔
Kura: Yujin?
Yena: she's in Incheon since last month
Kura: what's in Incheon?
Yena: they opened a new branch of their Cafe in Incheon.
Kura: oh that's good news... oh we're here.
The two girls went around the mall, eating delicious foods and playing games. Yena forgotten how jealous she was before.
Kura: Yenayah, did you have fun?
Yena: yes auntie, thank you for hanging out with me.
Kura: of course, anytime. Can I give you a piece of advice. It's normal to feel jealous at times, specially within the family. But you should talk to them, tell them what you're feeling so that they would know and understand. You cannot runaway and hide in our apartment every time you feel jealous, although you are always welcome to our place. Just talk to them, ok?
Yena: yes auntie. Thank you.
Kura felt relieved that she was able to help her niece, but at the same time felt like she was giving advice to herself.
Kura whispers to herself: I should also talk to her.
