" are you skipping with me today" constance asked me and i sighed
" no, and you not supposed to be skipping either" i said and pushed my finger into her chest
" it's the last dayyy" she dragged and i rolled my eyes
" which is more of a reason to stay" i cheesed trying to prove my point
" yea it's not giving what it was supposed to have gave" she said and i sucked my teeth
" whatever, i'm not skipping" i mugged and crossed my arms
" well bye then" she said and walked away with an attitude and i chuckled
" she's a big baby" i laughed to myself
i was cleaning out my locker until i felt a presence behind me, i turned around and saw kevin and i rolled my eyes
" do you need something" i mugged
" so what? constance ya little girlfriend or something? that's what we doin now?" he asked and i mugged him even more
" damn, my business or yours?"
" so you just liking girls? your moms okay with that?" he questioned and i shut my locker
" mind your business damn, i hate you bitches" i said then walked away to see if constance was still in the parking lot.
i walked to the front office to see her standing there looking at her phone
" what are you still here for?" i asked as i walked up to her and she looked up and smirked
" i was waiting for you, i knew you would come eventually" she cheesed and i rolled my eyes
" you don't know me" i mugged
" so are you coming or not" she asked looking at me with a dull face
" yes i am, but only because i'm agitated"
" tell me about it" she said and i smiled gaining butterflies
" in the car" i said and she nodded and we kept walking
we made it to the car and i got in the passenger seat
" girl what is you doin" she mugged
" your driving" i cheesed and she rolled her eyes
" i'm sick of this shit" she said and got into the drivers seat

" whatever, tell me what happened"
" so you had walked away and i started cleaning out my locker living my best life and shit then boom kevin came behind me and was like ' so this what we doin? you out here liking girls? what would your mom think?' nigga fuck you and mind your business my mom loves me bitch. all on my nerves and in my business. like get a life" i vented
" talk your shit love. wan jump him?" she asked and i smiled at the nickname " love"
" i really do" i pouted and she looked over at me
" stop pouting, he is not worth your energy at all. you have better things to tend to" she said and pulled off
" i never asked but what do you wanna do when you get older" i asked and she smiled
" i always wanted to be a marine biologist"
" you like the ocean?" i asked curiously
" i love it, it's really peaceful when it's nobody there"
" you wanna go there?" i asked
" today?" she asked and i nodded " like right now?" she added
" obviously constance" i rolled my eyes and she sucked her teeth

" let's go to the beachhh" i dragged

" we don't have to get in, we can just go then go to the fair"

we made it to the beach and walked towards the water
" i wanna go swimming with sharks, you scared of sharks?" constance asked me
" girl i ain't scared of no sharks. i'm a thug" i nodded and she sucked her teeth
" whatever scary ass, you wanna get on my back?" she asked and i cheesed
" yes yes" i said and she bent down and i wrapped my arms around her neck and she hooked her arms around my legs
" ahhh don't drop me, i'm scared! " i screamed. i've never been this high off the ground before
" i thought you was a thug" she laughed and i slapped her neck and she pretended to drop me
" stop doing that!" i yelled and she bussed out laughing
" why are you so scared?" she said while laughing
" cuz i never been this high off the ground. tall ass" i mugged the back of her head
" ain't my fault you short" she said and i rolled my eyes

i stuck up my middle finger and she chuckled. we eventually found a spot and she put me down and we sat down. I laid my head on her shoulder and she wrapped her arm around my waist

" we should come here more often now that it's summer"
" how about every weekend? just me and you, and occasionally ari and the rest of our friends" she asked and i nodded
" i like that idea" i agreed and it fell back into a comfortable silence
we stayed in silence for a while enjoying each others presence watching the waves swing back and forth until a loud family came onto the beach
" yea it's time to go" constance rolled her eyes and i stood up and she stood up with me
we started walking back to the car " let's go get some food and then we can go to fair" i told her
" let's do the fair first and get food there" she said and i realized that made sense
" that makes more sense" i said in realization and she laughed at me making me frown " what's funny"
" nothing just the face you made" she said and pulled me closer to here and threw her arm around the shoulder earning a weird look from a old lady making me scrunch up my face
" why is she looking at us like that?" i asked constance and she looked around until she saw what i was talking about and she shook her head
" it's 2019, people need to learn to stop being homophobic and let people live" she said she i nodded
" people are so rude"
" they are, but you can't let people opinions on you not let you be yourself love" she told me and i nodded taking in what she was saying
we finally made it to the car and headed towards the fair. when we made it we headed towards the payment place
" hi can i get two wristbands please" constance asked the cashier lady
" yes ma'am, that will be 43.24" she lady told us and i pulled out my wallet but before i could constance handed the lady her card and i frowned upon my face
" why'd you pay" i asked
" because i brought us here. why would i make you pay" she asked confused
" i don't know, i was just used to paying"
" well get unused to it" she nodded
" is that even a word?" i asked as the lady handed us our wrist bands
" thank you, and i don't know it felt needed for the moment" she said proudly and i laughed
" you are an idiot"
" yea yea, where to first?" she waved me off
" i don't know how about the gravity thing" i asked cheesing and she nodded and i smiled more
" keep smiling like that and you gonna break your jaw" she teased and my smile fell into a mug
" kiss my ass" i rolled my eyes

" ooo look it's over" i exclaimed and jumped like a child
" your so excited" she laughed
" i knoww, i love fairs"
" i can see that, cmon so we don't have to wait long " she said and dragged me over to the ride
we made it to the line and i had a permanent smile etched on my face " thank you for taking me"
i smiled looking up at her
" anytime love" she said and kissed my forehead making my stomach erupt into butterflies
we were next in line to go in so they check our wristbands and we headed in.
" malania hold my hand" she said looking nervous and held her hand out
" awww is constance scared?" i teased and she mugged
" ooo i'm so sick of you" she said and snatched her hand back
" i'm just joking" i laughed and took her hand and held it and she smiled
we chose our spots and the ride started spinning and we got pinned to the seat. after the ride was over we head to many other rides.
we looked at the time to see it was 7:30 and we have already been there for almost 3 hours
" cmon let's do one more, you choose"
" let's do...ferris wheel" i chose and she looked nervous " what's wrong?" i asked and she scratched the back of her neck
" i never been on a ferris wheel" she nervously chuckled and i smiled
" nothings bad gonna happen"
" okay but what if we at the top and we get stuck and it falls and we die" she rushed out and i bussed out laughing
" that's not gonna happen, you watch too many movies" i laughed and she mugged
" i watch just enough to know that this shit not safe"
" girl just come on" i said and grabbed her hand and led her to the line which was very short
" there's a reason this line is short" constance said and i chuckled
" scary ass, if i'm it fails you can hit me"
" if it fails we gon be dead so now what?"
" you know what? just shut up cuz we next"
" y'all be verbally abusing me" she mumbled and i laughed
the advisor looked at our badges and let us on. the thing started moving and constance grabbed on the edge of it making me laugh
" be cool, it is okay."
" how many times have you been on this shit"
" many, many times" i nodded
" i can tell" she mugged me and i laughed. she pulled my body closer to her and sat her head in between my neck
" awww the baby scared" i teased and grabbed her hand, holding it and i could feel her smile.
after the ride we headed back to car. we got in but instead of pulling off she pulled out a baggie of weed
" can you smoke and drive?" i asked
" i do it all the time" she said and i nodded watching her roll up
after she finished rolling up she lit it and put the blunt to her lips.
" you ever smoke before ?" she asked and i shook my head no
" i wanna try tho" i said
" come here" and my eyes widened
" like in your seat?" i asked frantically and she nodded laughing
" it's just my lap" she said and started to pull me over
i got over the seat and adjusted myself in her lap one leg in each side of her. i looked at her taking in her features. she had a faint scratch on the side of her face, that wasn't really as noticeable if you didn't look for it.
i took my thumb and rubbed over her face " how'd you get the scar" i asked and she looked up at me
" story for another time" she said simply and i nodded
" you wanna try?" she asked and i nodded " hmm" she put the blunt to my mouth
" inhale, hold it, then blow it out" she said and i did what i saw she did when she would smoke
" did i do it right?" i asked and she nodded and i smiled
" you wanna try something?" she asked and i shook my head yes " open your mouth" she told me and i opened it and she took a pull of the blunt then blew the smoke into my mouth. i did as she taught me earlier then blew it out.
she looked at me with a smirk on her face and i couldn't help but to get butterflies. she adjusted herself on the seat pulling me closer to her face. she grabbed the tip of my chin and brought me down to her lips and kissed me.
after a second she pulled back and look nervous.
" you okay?" she asked me and i nodded
feeling bold i placed my lips on hers and kissed her again. feeling her tongue lick over my lips i opened my mouth a little and her tongue slipped in causing me to moan into the kiss.
after a couple seconds i pulled back and i still felt butterflies in my stomach. she pecked my lips twice before putting out the blunt
i moved off her lap and into my seat " did i make you uncomfortable" she asked but not in her usual tone. she sounded more scared making me sad
" no, no if you did i would've said something. everything's okay" i smiled at her and she smiled back
