Chapter 52- A chat with the chief commisonier!

"Chief! I don't think we've met yet?" Harper says with a smile
"Chief commissioner Lopez! Pleasure to meet you" chief Lopez says
"You too!" Harper says
"Come on come in!" Chief Lopez says
Harper walks in and sits down
"So I heard you are covering for Gabriella Dawson is that correct?" Chief Lopez asks
"Yes that's correct!" Harper says
"How was your patient from this morning?" Chief Lopez asks
"I believe he is recovering well" Harper says
"Anyway the reason I brought you here is because you have had the most experience when it comes to squad and paramedic, you have worked in Miami and were classed as a great firefighter you also graduated at the top of your class in the academy" Chief Lopez says
"Yes is did chief" Harper says
"Now 51s standards have been dropping recently, which is why I'm moving you all about to different firehouses" chief Lopez says
"I'm sorry your moving us all?" Harper asks shocked
"Apart from you, Kelly Severide and Matthew Casey as you are Luitenents and PICs" Chief Lopez says
"Okay! And why have you called me here" Harper asks
"My darling niece said you heard about the idea and thought it was great so I'm asking you to tell the firehouse!" Chief Lopez says
"Umm okay! When does this happen?" Harper asks
"In about an hour!"chief Lopez says
"Right okay! I'll go tell them now!" Harper says walking out
"Connie can you tell everyone to gather in the briefing room?" Harper asks
"Sure thing!" Connie says getting up
Harper then waits in the briefing room and thinks about what she is going to say. Minutes later everyone walks in and sits down whilst Kelly and Casey stand at the back
"So I have just had a conversation with chief Lopez, now I haven't even discussed this with Kelly so it will be a surprise to all of you" Harper says fiddling with her hands
"What's up kid?" Herrmann asks
"Yeah come on tell us!" Curz says
"He's splitting up 51, he's moving everyone to different houses! Apart from me, Kelly and Casey" Harper says making eye contact with Kelly
"What!" Tony shouts
"He can't do that!" Mouch says
"I've got your houses here. So umm Mouch and Herrman are going on truck 67 in house 89, Lopez is riding on ambulance 7 in house 70, Tony is going to ride on squad 2 in house 60, Capp and Cruz are going to the call center" Harper says
She then gives everyone there places and they leave
"As for us Kelly your riding with a Jack Huston, Scott Miller and John Brown. Casey you have Derek Smith, Dan Mcaurthur, Lexie Jamieson and Donald Bruce. I'm riding with Natalie De Leon" Harper says
"Got it Harper, Ohh there here now" Casey says as Kelly and Harper walk behind him
"Hey guys!" Casey says
"I'm Matt Casey Luitenent on truck 81" Casey says
"I'm Kelly Severide Luitenent on squad 3" Kelly says
"And I'm Harper Severide PIC on ambulance 61" Harper says
They all come in and get settled until
"Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61, warehouse fire, 65th street" The intercom says
