Hey y'all, So this week so was moving my office and came across a box with some of my old notebooks. In it were little bits of stuff I had written over the years, little short stories and the such. But through it I actually found my writings from when I really started to think of the character that we now know as Caerwyn.
I thought I'd share with y'all about how Caerwyn evolved.
In one story
Caerwyn was named Evelyn or Lyn for short and she was aged 18-20 and a very different personality.
Also the character of Idwal was originally a Knight named Silas, who was Lyn's main love interest.
In this story she has two younger siblings named Elrond and Maccus.
Also somehow I wrote Aragorn as a bit of a temperamental dick in this. Idk why cause I hardcore stan Aragorn.
But anyway he banishes her to Mirkwood for two years so she can learn to be a proper lady.

In another version
Idwal was an assassin named Liam who was sent to kill Evelyn (Caerwyn) who then falls in love with her and they go on this quest to find a missing stone. Or something.

Which you might have noticed in like chapter two when Caerwyn talks about having assassins after her when she was a kid, this is kinda what that was a nod to.
In yet another version
Which sadly I have no photos only vague memories Caerwyn is named Celediel and is actually Legolas's twin sister and they fight hordes of zombies together.
Yeah anyway this story has come along way since I first started writing about the daughter of Aragon and Arwen. For those of you that have stuck by me thus far, I love y'all and enjoy the hokey bonus content.
