Her head pounded before she even opened her eyes. A loud groan passed her lips as she covered her face with her hands. "You good?"
She flung up in bed immediately at the voice. Quickly she spotted the source, quickly realizing she wasn't in her big bed.
"I took you back here, you couldn't remember your address. And you kept crying." The girl spoke quietly in Ashers direction.
"I'm so sorry, Toni." She whispered to the girl she barely knew.
"Hey, you're okay. Everyone gets too drunk and has a melt down. I'm just glad you didn't drive home." She laughs as she approaches the small bed.
"Oh God no, not in Daddy's precious car." She rolled her eyes at his voice playing through her head.
Toni smiles as a silence falls upon them, "I'll get out of your hair, I'm really sorry again."
Asher gets out of the bed and realizes she doesn't have shoes on, nor does she have her purse. She quickly felt her keys in her top though, which she blushed pulling out with a laugh. "Priorities I guess."
Toni smiles big at the girl, "God Northsider, didn't know it was possible for you guys to be a mess." She nods to the door and exits.
"I'll drive you back to your car." Toni laughs again as they exit the front door, Asher quickly recognizes the outside as Sunnyside Trailer Park. Immediately she spots two boys approaching Toni, "Damn just trying to get with any Serpent, huh, Princess?"
His voice is filled with venom, his words meant to kill. She can't bring herself to answer, much less look at the boy who she was so weirdly enamored with.
"Shut up, Sweets. I'm driving her back to her car." Toni defends looking back at the hurting girl behind her. Toni doesn't think she remembers but last night Asher had told her a lot. She wasn't like the other Northsiders.
"Fp wants you, let her walk." He speaks again, this time more annoyed.
"She's not walking. She'd have to go through Ghoulie land." Toni snaps at her friend but he only lets out a scoff.
"Good. Let her go visit her boyfriend." A tremor passes through the small girl on the stairs, she shoves past Toni and walks deeper into the park instead. Jughead's trailer would be close by.

At the same time Toni is staring at her longtime friend, who watches Asher walk quickly away from the three. Toni punches him in the chest hard, "Are you kidding me? He raped her! His two buddies held down her arms and he fucking raped her!"
Sweet Pea quickly paled as he glanced back to where the girl was. But she was already out of sight and in Jughead's trailer, crying her eyes out. Her friend tried to suppress his questions and comfort his friend.
"You're an idiot." Toni said to Sweet Pea, but of course he already knew this.
The next day the boys had been a lot more protective of the girl, Jughead or Archie wanted to be with her at all times.
Jughead always kept an arm over her shoulders and Archie made sure to be sitting besides her at any second. They doted on her all day, still not sure why she had been at Sunnyside or why she had cried so hard at Jug's place.
Archie dragged her along with him and Veronica to his house after school. After a movie a knock came to the door and within seconds Bulldogs filled the living room, Asher couldn't help but tense up immediately with all of the guys in the room.
She felt like she couldn't breathe, quickly she pushed herself off the couch and rushed to the front door. Asher pulled the door open with tears shining in her eyes before she took in the sight in front of her, Serpents.
All standing on Archie Andrews front porch, Sweet Pea looked down on the girl as soon as the door opened. Their eyes locking on each other, his filled with remorse with a silent apology along with confusion.
"Archie! Trouble!" Veronica yelled from inside and as quickly as their moment started it was ended by Archie stepping onto the porch.
He pulled Asher away from the gang, a touch not unnoticed by Sweet Pea.
"You thought you could just get away with putting a gun in my face in front of my boys and get away with it?" Sweet Pea glared at the Northsider holding onto his girls arm.
"Who made the mistake now?" As he spoke Sweets pulled his switchblade out.
The front door opened wider, Reggie pulling Asher under his arm and also into Chucks side. She squirmed from the touch.
"Still you. You should know Bulldogs eat Serpents for lunch." Asher pulls herself out of their grip and proceeds to dart out of the door, for some reason the Serpents made her a path to get through. As quickly as she had appears in Sweet Pea's eyes she was gone.
And now the real fight was gonna start.
By nightfall Archie had convinced her to come to the brawl, he had promised no weapons and he just needed her there to help watch for them.
She sat on the hood of the Porsche with an umbrella over her head as the Serpents arrived. Sweet Pea didn't seem to have a second thought about walking right up to Archie Andrews, who took him off guard by throwing the first punch. A guilt filled attack, as if he was trying to prove to himself that he was right that night.
Even in the rain and the darkness that surrounded them Asher could see the blood leave his mouth, she winced. She tried to tell herself he deserved it but either way she had jumped off the hood as soon as the impact had happened.
She couldn't tell where they had went until she saw Sweet Pea's immaculate height rise upright in a kick to her close friends stomach. Archie was getting his ass beat.
She couldn't stop herself, "Sweet Pea!" Asher had yelled into the crowd, she saw his head turn towards her but at the same time a loud pop sounded into the sky.
"Gun!" Serpents yelled as they ran, but Asher only cared about the one quickly approaching her. She had almost forgotten how tiny he made her feel.
Sirens had followed seconds after the gunshot. "Get in, they'll pull you over if you're on your bike." Sweet Pea glanced back to the flashing lights approaching before he got into the passenger seat.
He stared at the console in silence once she started the car, pulling quickly off the scene. Asher could see him looking about the car, his large hands running along the leather seats. His chest was still rising and falling quickly, his lip was bleeding.
She didn't hesitate to start driving towards her own house. "Have you ever driven a car?" She spoke quietly, worried he might assume she's making fun of him.
Sweets just shook his head, "I think I've only been in a car twice."
She smiled, "I already told you that you could drive mine sometime." Sweets couldn't help but smirk out the window at the memory. It was soon crushed by their most recent memories.
"I'm really sorry, I didn't know about what happened." He spilled his apology quickly as he looked at the houses go past. They got larger as they drove.
Asher didn't speak for a moment, "Not a lot of people do. I-I didn't tell anyone really."
Sweets glanced to her, "Not even Keller?"
Asher slowly glanced to him and her embarrassment was clear on her face, "Malachi has something on me, something worse than what they did to me."
Sweet Pea only stared at her until they made a turn, the rain made it hard to get a clear picture but he could see it was massive, a big circle driveway leading up to a front porch filled with columns. There was another building close to the front of the house, another garage?
Asher parked by the front door and turned the car off, she stepped out and nearly ran to the front door. Sweets was close behind her.
"We can go to my room, I have a first aid kit there."
Sweet Pea stared at the marble floors, high walls. Nothing like the trailers he had grown up in. The stairs alone were probably the nicest thing he had ever seen. But even he could admit the silence was haunting, it felt smothering cold in the house. There was a single picture hung in the hallway at the top of the stairs. Asher holding up a bright blue coin in her hand, she was unsmiling. A coin of sobriety.
Sweet Pea knew what the coin was, he thought about it as they walked down the hall. He really didn't know this girl.
"You can sit on the bed." Sweet Pea watched her enter another room as he sat down, moving a few items to do so. A solid black book was in his hands.
Slowly he opened it, his eyes widening in surprise at the pages.
