A Year and two months later

May

You simply couldn't believe that the time had actually come. The gown was hanging in the closet of the bridal room that you were staying in, and you sat in the chair as you let Emily and Garcia finish your hair, while JJ did your makeup.

It was all simple and small. You never wanted anything big for a wedding and Aaron sure as hell didn't either. You hadn't many friends and the team was really your only family so it made planning easy. A small outdoor wedding and to Rossi's for the reception.

"God you are gorgeous, this is going to be so amazing," Emily said to you as she finished pinning up your hair. She was miraculously amazing at doing your hair and you somewhat wondered if she had prepared for this the second you told the team that you and Aaron were engaged.

"We need to tell you all something," you said as Aaron held your hand to cover the ring that sat there. The restaurant was quiet as the team looked at you with big grins like they already had been told this was going to happen.

"Aaron and I are engaged," you said with a smile as the team lit up with cheers. Garcia's mouth hung open as she ran over to hug you and soon followed the team. You tried to remain bashful of the situation but the roaring love that the team sang was so heartfelt for you.

"Let me see the ring" Garcia somewhat yelled across the table. You had forgotten that Aaron was hiding the ring from the team by holding your hand and so you stuck it out for all to see.

With overwhelming ooh's from the team, Rossi stood up and grabbed the bottle of champagne that he already ordered and popped it, pouring it into glasses for everyone.

"A toast to the happy couple" you smiled and cheered the team.

"You need to not tell me things like that," you said to Emily, "it makes me nervous, what if I fall while I'm walking down the aisle," you said as you panicked a bit. "And if I cry my makeup will-" JJ held your head still because she was doing your makeup. She held your face with two hands by the cheeks before giving you a pep talk.

"You need to chill the f out," she said as she continued to hold your face, the mascara wand balancing in her fingers to avoid your face. "You look gorgeous, everything is going to go great, and if it doesn't I will not hesitate to beat the bitch that causes it to go wrong." she joked before letting go of your face. You laughed as she calmed you down and finished your makeup.

"Okay my pretty princess, it is almost time, you need to get dressed," Garcia said as she held your hand and stood you up out of the chair. "Oh and this is for you" Emily chased after you with a glass of wine, she wanted you relaxed.  You honestly did feel like a princess, you were really ready for tonight.

"The gown is hung up in here, let us know if you need any help," she said with a smile that looked like a proud mother's before she closed the door to the room for you to get dressed.

You couldn't help but just smile, you sat on the small couch that the room held as your heart somewhat pounded with nerves and excitement. It finally was the day, your wedding, and it was going to be perfect.

You set the glass of wine down next to you, and you glanced at it before you looked down at your stomach for a second. knowing that because they were profilers, someone might pick up on the fact that you aren't gonna drink anything tonight.

But as you admired the dress that stayed hung in front of you, you took a deep breath before doing the corset lace-up back and stepped into it, pulling it up. You tried to lace up the back but you realized you needed help and called for back-up.

"I need help" you yelled from behind the door and then you heard a scrambling of the three women rushing to come to help you. "We're coming" Garcia yelled. As you held the bodice on the girls came through the door to help.

"God I forgot how beautiful this dress is," Emily commented, "Stay still I'll lace it up," she said as she grabbed the sides of it and began. Garcia sat in front of you holding your hands before she glanced at the wine glass and handed it to you, "You need this" she giggled.

"Hey Garcia, can I actually grab some water, I don't want to be wasted before I even get there. I haven't eaten anything today and If I drink anything I'll probably actually fall down the aisle." you joked hoping that your lies can cover it up and you think they did because Garcia nodded and of course remarked something sweet, "Anything for the bride" she smiled before squeezing your hand.

You felt the bodice of the dress finish tightening up as JJ laid the veil over your head and draped it down the back. "All done now turn and see yourself," Emily said with a grin. You turned and looked at yourself in the mirror

You were completely taken aback by how you looked. You honestly had forgotten what you looked like in this dress and you looked so good in it you were just so overwhelmed by it. You felt tears begin to brim in your eyes before JJ came running over in front of you.

"No. no. no. not allowed," she said as her hands fanned your face, "Think of a salad, what do you want on it," she was speaking trying to get you to not cry, "A nice piece of chicken, and some tomatoes, or cucumbers, maybe a little bit of vinaigrette dressing." she was spewing off words while Garcia handed you a tissue,

You carefully wiped your eyes before laughing slightly. "I love you guy so much, I don't think I would be able to do this without you." you smiled still holding back the emotions for fear JJ would try to tell you another salad you would want.

"I love you so much," Garcia said while pulling everyone into a huge hug. They guided you out of the hotel, they followed wearing their dresses.

You didn't want to force them into buying bridesmaids dresses so you just asked that they wear a nice hunter green, and they all went shopping to surprise you with matching dresses. They wanted to make it as close to a big wedding without making you angry. You thought it was the sweetest thing they could've done.

Garcia, JJ, and Emily all stepped out of the car that lined the entrance of the small outdoor venue. You could slightly hear the laughter of Rossi from around the corner and you wondered what it was about.

The girls each gave you a quick hug before they entered and then you were left there alone just waiting to be let in. now was the time, you were seconds away from walking through the entrance and down the aisle, and honestly, it was horrifying. You were so close to what you imagined to be the rest of your life, and you were so excited but so nervous.

"Someone said you were waiting for me." the deep voice roamed from behind you. "Derek?" you said to him as he walked closer to you. "You look amazing, sweet cheeks, are you ready?" you smiled at him, he was always so sweet to you.

"What are you doing back here? Shouldn't you be inside with Rossi and Reid, is Jack with them?"

"Yes, Jack is with them and Jessica. Reid is taking good care of him, but" he paused, "A Garcia sized bird told me that nobody would be walking you down the aisle, and I thought it best if I could do the honors for my favorite girl. Is that okay?" he said with a smile.

Your heart melted at his words before you took him in a tight hug, "of course." you stepped back for a second before you took his arm in yours. "So if I'm your favorite girl... what is Garcia?" you whispered to him quickly

"Slow your roll, you only get that title because it is your wedding" he joked back at you before your arms interlaced and you walked through the arc and ferns that blocked you from the rest of the team.

As you entered the room, you took a deep breath realizing where you are and what you are about to do. "Holy shit" you mumbled to yourself as the music started to play, Rossi, Reid, and the girls all stood and you locked eyes with Aaron. You heard jack attempt to whisper to Jessica but it was very loud and adorable.

Aaron stood at the end of the aisle and you swore that you saw him stop breathing when you walked in, but so did you. Your feet paced down the small isle as your breathing picked up and you continually tried and tried to not make you cry, but one or two tears fell and you wiped them up quickly.

You scanned the small rows quickly before you locked eyes with the others and gave them a quick smile. Garcia was holding back tears, Reid Prentiss and JJ gave you a bright smile, as Rossi winked. Jack waved at you with the biggest smile on his face that you had ever seen. But when you reached the end, Derek pulled you in again for a hug,

"I love you so much" he whispered, "if you're ever sick of him, I'm an FBI agent and we could probably get away with it." he joked trying to make you laugh at the wrong moment. "Thank you," you said to him before you stepped away, handing your bouquet to Emily, and standing across from Aaron.

As the marriage officiant began speaking and initiating the wedding, you couldn't care what he said, your focus was on Aaron, him, and only him.

"Hi" you whispered to him as you noticed his eyes were watery, his hands held yours tightly you could feel his pulse if you really focused on it. His heart was racing a million miles a minute, just like yours.

"You look so beautiful" he whispered back as he looked you up and down quickly, his eye locked with yours as he gave you a quick smile. His gestures and those words alone made your heart flutter faster than it already was.

The Officiator ran through everything shockingly fast, but it was no matter, you didn't hear most of it anyways. He walked you and Aaron through the vows as you stumbled over your words trying not to cry again.

As you finished them the time came.

"Can we bring the rings forward?" the officiator said before Rossi brought the boxes.

"Do you, Aaron Hotchner, Take you Y/F/N Y/L/N, to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do," he said as his fingers slipped the ring onto your fingers.

"Do you, Y/F/N Y/L/N, take you, Aaron Hotchner, to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do," you said as you slipped the ring onto his finger too.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, You may kiss the bride."

One of Aaron's hands slipped onto your lower back as the other held your face and he pulled you close. The kiss was lingering one as you both kind of laughed through it. It was sweet, and the room was filled with the charming applause of the team behind you.

When you both stepped out of it, you looked up at him again and he whispered to you, "We did it, Mrs.Hotchner" he smiled and his words warmed you. You two grabbed hands as you walked back through the small aisle to the car that would bring you to Rossi's.

When you arrived the two of you were greeted with bright lights that lined your walkway to Rossi's backyard. The cars that were there before you came signaled that the rest of the team had already arrived.

Aaron stepped out of the car before you. He held your hand giving you stability as you stepped out. As you walked up to Rossi's house Aaron stopped you before you walked in. "are we telling them tonight?"

"I mean, they're gonna know, but let's just see where it goes." you smiled before you continued walking. You turned to him one last time, "It's your lucky day though, you get to drink for two instead of just one." you smiled and walked arm in arm.

"Here they are!" Rossi announced "Mr. and Mr. Aaron Hotchner, congratulations you two." he said as he handed you both a glass of champagne. You gave Aaron a slight silly look as you just held the glass and knocked it against the others who held their glasses up.

You heard the sound of music behind you as a band was playing. The three small tables with white roses and golden lights were nearby as there was a small wooden dance floor placed out for all of you.

"Thank you for all of this Dave, It's too much honestly," you said giving him a hug.

"Too much? Honey, I'm Italian and a millionaire, this is nothing compared to what I like to throw." he clincked his glass with yours, "so when's the first dance?" he asked you with a smile.

"How about now?" Aaron said as he took your hand and pulled you away from your conversation with Rossi. "Aaron, I was talking," you said while Aaron pulled you close to him and the band picked up the pace of their music.

"And I wanted to dance with my beautiful wife." he smiled as you two began, "Now, may I have this dance?" he joked whilst you were both already dancing.

"I don't think I have a choice. Although, I doubt I would want to do anything else," you said to him before he spun you out and then back into his arms as he dipped you and laid a kiss onto your lips.

"How's this for dancing?" he stood you back up from the dip into his arms again. "Just my prince charming. Where do I leave my slipper so that you can come and find me at the end of the night." you laughed as his grip on you tightened. "That" he gestured to your stomach, "that is what happens when I meet you at the end of the night," he whispered in your ear.

"Am I complaining?"

"You will in about nine months," he whispered again before the song ended and you left the dance floor with applause and cheers from the team. Jessica came up to the two of you quickly after you finished dancing. She was going to watch Jack while you and Aaron were on your honeymoon.

"This was a beautiful wedding, Jack is exhausted so we are going to head home but all the love to the two of you." She was kind, "Thank you so much," Aaron said to her while you gave her a small smile

Jack came out from behind her and hugged your legs, "I'm gonna miss you." he squeezed your legs tighter. "Awe buddy, It'll only be a week and a half. I promise It'll be quick." you rubbed his back before squatting down to his level. "Can you bring me a present back?" you laughed at the bribery the kid already had.

"You drive a hard bargain but I think I can negotiate. How does that sound Aaron?" you looked up at him. "Only if he is good for Jessica." he reprimanded quickly, "Oh I promise." he seemed pleased with himself before Jessica somewhat dragged him away. "Bye, jack I love you." You yelled out to him but he didn't seem to hear it; he just waved goodbye.

With haste, Emily approached you and guided you away from the team. In her hand was a glass of champagne, to be more specific, your undrunk glass. "Congratulations my love, you are married, now there is no chance for us." she smiled as she fawned her hand on her forehead like she was fainting.

"Oh, honey you ruined your chances when you picked that bum over me," you said like it was a fifties drama movie and you were a damsel in distress. You two laughed a bit too loud before she tried to hand you your glass.

Without you thinking you sat it down on the table nearby, forgetting that you were supposed to act like you could drink it. "So, want me to drink it for you, or is Aaron in charge of that tonight?" she gave you a glance like she knew what was up.

"That is like my third glass, I am not trying to get smack drunk tonight. I want to remember it." you turned trying to get her back to the group, "mhmm, so the only person who is still on champagne while there was only one bottle of it, is on her third glass. While this said glass has no lip imprints or signs of it being drunk from." she gave you a smug grin.

"I thought we talked about no profiling each other?" you said back to her, "And I thought we said no secrets," she said back to you before you just sighed and gave in.

"Yes, I am not drinking tonight. Please use your grand profiling skills to come to the next conclusion." Her mouth was sitting wide open like she didn't already know you were pregnant. "Oh my god, I knew it, how long, I won't tell anyone I promise I just need to know everything."

"Uh, probably only like four weeks that's why you can't really tell. It's a bit uh... unplanned" you smiled slightly.

It was all a mistake, it being your pregnancy, you stopped taking birth control because it started to make you gain a lot of weight and made you extremely nauseous all the time. You and Aaron got sloppy with protection because you didn't really need it before you were off the pill. After a couple of nights of forgetting, you missed your period not too long after and then found out.

You were only like four weeks into the pregnancy so nobody knew or could tell, and you didn't tell anyone for fear that you might miscarry in the first trimester. It was all so sudden, but luckily the only thing that really started to grow were your breasts, and Aaron certainly didn't complain about that.

"I am so happy for you" she had a huge smile on her face as she pulled you in for a tight hug, "You better name her Emily."

"What if she is a he,"

"Name 'em Sergio" she laughed, "I am not naming my kid after your cat" you realized you said that too loud as an effect of the sock to naming your child after Emily's cat.

"Kid?" you heard a voice from across the lawn as a tall Garcia came running over to you. That of course brought the attention of the rest of the team to your direction. You dropped your head realizing that you had no choice now.

"Garcia, stay there, Emily and I are coming." you two walked over to the rest of the team before Emily sat down next to everyone else.

"Aaron, now, we're doing it now." you kind of whispered to him haphazardly. He got up, realizing what you meant, and stood next to you in front of the team.

"Y/n and I have some big news" he started before gesturing to you to reveal the news, "I'm pregnant," you announced to the groups before various excited noises came from everyone.

"I am only four weeks along, and nothing is certain, so don't delve into this too much. And no I will not be naming my child Sergio as Emily suggested only a minute ago."

"MY SUNFLOWER IS HAVING LITTLE BUTTERCUPS" she came at you with a huge hug. It almost seemed like she had been waiting for this news. Her hug was tight as JJ and Reid also joined in on it.

"I'll have to brush up on birth again just in case we are on a-"

"Reid I do not want to be thinking about it right now. That is a long ways away, and I would like to revel in the fact that I am still skinny right now." you laughed avoiding the awkward conversion and the social cues that Reid did not catch onto.

"Welcome to the club," JJ said as Derek and the rest of the team joined in congratulations. "I can't wait to go baby clothes shopping with you." she gleamed with enthusiasm while the night continued, and by 10, fell quiet. You and Aaron were the last to leave Rossi's as you left into the night for your honeymoon.
