Yh, I headcanon Sonic as gay and Blaze as lesbian, so I personally don't see it.
But it's sort of like a more dignified SonAlly. They'd be comfortable in their powers and work to settle down slowly, each wanting to live life to the fullest in their own way rather than relying heavily on the other. It's sweet!
