Astoria's POV
We ran to Giovanna's dorm as soon as we read the messages on the groupchat. Me, Ginny, Hermione, Cho and Luna all began knocking on her door desperately hoping she'd open it.
Instead we heard loud sobs and the slamming of books and paper everywhere.
"GIA LET ME IN" Ginny screamed
"IM NOT GIA THAT WAS HIS NICKNAME FOR ME" she screeched saying 'his' in such a disgusted tone you'd think the word was a disease. We heard more muffled sobs and screams and then a large thud and suddenly she became quiet. "Giovanna are you okay" i asked softly. "I'm fine i just need time alone" she replied quietly. "Okay" i sighed reluctantly but gestured the girls to follow me out of the common room.
Giovanna's POV
"I'm fine i just need time alone" i whispered
Lie
I was definitely not fine. I was hoping they'd break the door down to come help me despite me pushing them away. But they left. I know i told them too but it just reminded me. Everyone will leave eventually. Draco left. They left. Who's next? My parents- i doubt they ever really loved me anyway. I had Blaise and Theo but they're friends with him so that's an issue.
I decided i don't need anyone. I need myself. I'm enough right? Well obviously not. If i was then Draco wouldn't of left. I'm a "dirty ravenclaw blood traitor whore" apparently. Sounds about right. Im a blood traitor. I'm the quidditch bitch. Im worthless. These thoughts raced through my mind until i realised something.
I am Giovanna Fucking Moon
I've dated this boy for barely any time. He is not about to rip apart my life because he's being a dickhead. I am enough. If anyone is worthless it's him and that Pug. I don't need him.
Happy with my new confidence i drifted off into a dreamless sleep. Unfortunately i was rudely awoken by more pounding on my door
"ITS TIME FOR BREAKFAST GIOVANNA". I knew that voice. Cho.
I hopped out of bed and went to the shower. I brushed through my long hair and put it into a nice slicked back pony tail. I grabbed a fresh set of uniform, changed into it and slipped on my shoes. I skipped to the door to see Cho and Luna waiting for me with worried faces.
"What's up" i questioned
"Uhm Giovanna are you okay?" Cho asked nervously
"oh i'm much better actually. i realised my self worth " i stated truthfully
Obviously pleased with that response they perked up and each of them grabbed one of my hands and began to run down the corridor.
Draco's POV
Obviously i sat next to Pansy. My new girlfriend. Pansy knew the lengths my father goes to get what he wants. He wouldn't approve and Giovanna and i wouldn't break up with her. Who knows what he would do to her if he ever found out about us. Pansy is the spawn of Satan. She is a manipulative cold hearted bitch with no remorse.
I scanned the hall looking for her but i didn't see her. I suddenly got nervous. She was definitely a wreck, she'll probably come to breakfast in her pj's, a messy bun and a tear stained face. Then she walked in giggling with Lovegood and Chang. She looked happy? It was almost as if nothing had happened. She wasn't giving me weird looks or trying to make me jealous by flirting with random boys. She just talked and laughed with her friends.
It kind of hurt
It was like she just removed me from her memories
I was snapped out of my deep thought by Theo slamming his fists down on the table. He looked as if he'd just been broken up with. His hair was messed up and he had a very clear angry expression plastered across his face.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU" he seethed. By this point everyone in the great hall was looking at us. " WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO GIOVANNA HUH WHY DID YOU WAKE UP YESTERDAY AND DECIDE TO BE A COMPLETE DICK" he shouted not breaking eye contact with me.
"I had to" i replied calmly.
"NO YOU BROKE UP WITH HER BECAUSE YOURE A LITTLE BITCH BOY WITH DADDY ISSUES. AND YOU DID IT ON THE YEAR GROUPCHAT. THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU " he shouted again only this time pushing me making me fall into Pansy.
Before i could respond a soft voice spoke up. "Hey Theo calm down, come sit next to me" . It was her. Giovanna. Theo just grunted and strutted away.
"Ha! how pathetic" Pansy shouted after them.
"Listen here Pansy i've had enough of you and your bullshit so run along with your boyfriend and stay away from me" Giovanna spat
"You're just jealous that he dumped your stupid ass" Pansy sneered
Giovanna just kept walking on, rubbing Theo's back trying to calm him down.
"You're a bitch" Pansy shouted after them again
"Yeh i am, i'm the baddest bitch and you're just an ignorant annoying asshole with no friends" Giovanna stated while smirking
The entire great hall erupted into cheers and shouts. People started chanting and cheering her name.
Fuck sake. Why did i break up with Giovanna.
