hey guys, it's been a while....
that being said. i'm devastated by the news that netflix has cancelled jatp, the show it one of the only reasons that i am who i am, and that i can still continue with my life because i was in a bad place before that show and it helped me grow.
over the last few weeks i have felt like the world has been completely against me, with my favourite band little mix announcing they are going to take a break, then i didn't get tickets to see olivia rodrigo on her sour tour and can't afford the £400 resale tickets, this truly wrecked me and i cried for days straight over it, and now to find jatp has been cancelled. honestly i've been so unmotivated to do anything.
this book has been pre written for season 1, and i'm hoping to publish it all asap, that being said once i finish this book, if you have any ideas on how i can continue it i'm open to all ideas, and as for my other hsmtmts books, i promise i'm trying to update but i just haven't felt motivated to do so, those books will be updated but i cant tell you when because i'm trying to put my mental health first.

the next morning amelia rolled over, waking up to see flynn's clock blaring the time '9:55'. she shot out of bed, noticed the missing presence of flynn but julie still passed out beside her.
"jules! get up, we missed our first three classes. we need to go now!" amelia shook her friend
julie shot out of bed "what?"
"flynn didn't wake us up, we need to get to school" amelia told her
"what! dads gonna kill me!" julie said rushing around trying to find her clothes
amelia was doing the same "my moms gonna kill me, and if she doesn't then auntie lillie will before she leaves tonight"
"i'm ready, let's go" julie said
amelia grabbed her bag as the pair of them rushed out to the car before setting off to school as fast as she could within speed limit.
when they arrived amelia slammed the car into park and jumped out with julie, she haphazardly locked it before rushing after julie into the dance studio.
"oh julie, amelia how nice of you to join us?" their teacher, mrs kelly, smiled sarcastically
"sorry we over slept" julie apologised
mrs kelly nodded "take your spot"
julie and amelia stormed over to flynn and started the stretching exercises that mrs kelly were teaching. amelia scoffed "why didn't you wake us, flynn? we missed our first three classes"
"you said you were never gonna show your faces here again, and mils you were exhausted last night. i'm a very literal person" flynn replied
julie breathed out "it's okay, it's those stupid ghosts that i'm really upset at"
"i'd kill them if they weren't already dead" amelia added
flynn nodded "having a band is supposed to help your social life, not ruin it"
"ex band"
"right sorry, ex band" flynn corrected
"it's all so messed up, i thought they were in this with us. but obviously i was wrong" julie sighed.
amelia was keeping quiet, she felt a lot more hurt than julie did, knowing that it was her brother who did this to her. she thought he was with her, that he would protect her and help her, but she assumed she was wrong.
"don't blame yourself, you can only be so strong when three cute ghosts ask you to join a band" flynn told her "speaking of cute, have you talked to nick today? he was pretty chatty at the dance"
"no i haven't and i'm kinda dreading it, at least i know i won't see him in this class" julie said as they all bend down
julie and amelia noticed the lacrosse team enter the dance studio, as they looked through their legs "you have got to be joking me!" amelia scoffed noticing her ex staring at her.
"what are they doing here?"
"right on time coach barron. so students, coach barron and i have decided that his lacrosse team will be a part of our class for a few weeks" mrs kelly explained
coach barron nodded "many pro athletes have used dance to help them with coordination and mobility. this isn't about flirting with girls. it's about making us better so we can actually win a game. we lost against burbank. burbank!"
"well let's all remember that composure is a big part of dance" mrs kelly said "everyone pair up!"
"don't leave me!" amelia said eyes wide
flynn smiled apologetically and walked away with of the boys, nick came and took julie, leaving amelia with the one person she didn't want to see.
"hey" ollie smirked
amelia forced a smile "hi"
"so ladies, let's do what we learned last week and we will perform with the boys this friday" mrs kelly said "coach barron and i will demonstrate"
"no, i don't dance"
"you do now"
mrs kelly started the dance, carefully instructing the boys what they needed to do, ollie clumsily following along as amelia rolled her eyes.
"let's do it again, half time with no music" mrs kelly said
amelia looked towards her ex "you got this?"
"sure, sav and i dance together all the time" ollie said
"oh"
"five, six, seven, eight"
they continued dancing, mrs kelly guiding them through it. ollie looked at amelia "so about the dance last night?"
"can we not"
"are we just going to pretend that you didn't go out there and completely own the stage for the first time?"
amelia shrugged "are we just going to ignore that you and your new girlfriend are the ones that i completely slated when i got up there and did it?"
"for what it's worth i'm proud of you" he said
"you don't get to do that" amelia told him
"do what?"
"act as if everything is okay. it's not. you drive the wedge between us not me, and i can't deal with you being all friendly to me" amelia snapped
ollie sighed "look things didn't end great between us but i still care about you"
"well maybe you shouldn't, because you are the reason i feel the way i do"
"come on amelia, don't be like that" he sighed
mrs kelly called the end of class, and both julie and flynn walked cautiously towards the arguing pair
"you don't get to walk in here to be my partner and pretend that you don't do all the things that we did together with savannah" amelia said
"no but-"
"tell me do you get deja vu? all your dates are reused" amelia scoffed "we may be partners for this class but that doesn't mean we are friends"
she didn't say anything else, choosing to walk out of the dance studio with julie and flynn following. "hey wait up, where are you going?"
"the music room, i have a free period and i think i just came up with some killer lyrics" amelia smiled slightly
"are you okay? that was pretty intense" flynn asked
amelia nodded "i will be" she smiled "i'm going straight home tonight, but i might come by the studio later"
"sounds good, see you soon"
the girls parted ways, leaving amelia heading towards the music room.

amelia sat at the piano bench scribbling lyrics in her note book, she jumped when she heard a poof next to her. she looked to the side slightly, noticing it was reggie sat beside her. "i don't wanna hear it"
"please millie, just let me explain" he begged
"i don't think you understand" she sighed "you wanted to see me get over my stage fright and if you had kept your promise then you would have done"
"and we are so fucking sorry for that" reggie cried. amelia looked at him in shock, she's never heard him swear "you have to understand why we did what we did, we didn't mean to leave you guys, we wanted to be home for 9 i swear"
"i need time reggie, i'm hurt, you hurt me, luke hurt me and alex hurt me, and i can't just forget that right now, maybe i'll listen to you later but i can't now, can you please leave me alone?" amelia begged, tears in her eyes
reggie nodded and poofed away, amelia failed to realise that he poofed to the doorway, interested to see what she was writing.
amelia finished scribbling and balanced her phone on the music stand, and started recording. she played the intro of the song before singing, failing to notice the ghost presence and the new figure of mrs harrison stood by the doorway.

amelia played the outro before stopping the recording on her phone. she heard a round of applause behind her, turning in her seat to find mrs harrison by the door, having missed reggie poof out moments before. "oh sorry mrs harrison i didn't see you there"
"no worries darling, that was a good song, did you write it?" mrs harrison asked
amelia nodded "yeah came up with the idea during dance class"
"it's really good, i also heard about your little performance at the dance last night" mrs harrison smiled "and you are with julies band, does this mean we will get more performances from you?"
"i don't know, i really enjoyed the performance, i managed to do that from adrenaline but i didn't have time to think about it, usually i would be over thinking it" amelia explained "and something happened between us and the rest of the band, i don't know if we are gonna continue"
"communication is the best, whatever it is maybe talking about it will help. i wouldn't like to see you guys disband you had great chemistry" mrs harrison said, which made amelia think slightly "and as for the over thinking, you know you are talented as does everyone. it's okay to be nervous, but you need to push yourself out of your comfort zone. a lot of celebrities suffer from anxiety, don't let it define you"
amelia nodded thoughtfully "i guess so, thank you mrs harrison" she smiled
"you should get to your next class" she smiled in return
amelia bend down and picked up her bag and notebook before leaving the room with a smile on her face.
